I signed up for a "Legs" class. There wasn't an explanation as to how the class worked, but the instructor did walk through how to do the exercises at the 5 different stations. Once the timer started, I was able to ask how the class worked. It's kind of set up like F45 where you start at a station, stay there for an amount of time (for this class it was 8 minutes), and then go to the next station. They had the monitors set up at each station to remind you of the exercises. (This class was weights, not cardio like F45, so don't be scared if you hate cardio.) Once we were off, we were pretty much on our own until the final 10 seconds of each station. That being said, I definitely wouldn't call this a beginner class. The class is as hard as you make it because you pick your tempo and weights, but if you have never lifted before, I wouldn't start here. This class is best for people who already have some knowledge of form and what their starting weight should be to avoid injuries. They do have a lot of heavy plates and dumbbells, a turf space, sand bags, and wall balls. It looks like they'd be a great Hyrox gym, but I didn't see any Hyrox classes on the website.

You get my point: there is pervasive lack of supervision and oversight plaguing the gym. Frustrated customer.

They take their time to not only guide you through each workout but they go out of their way to make sure each individual is comfortable doing each exercise correctly. If need be, a different movement or lift can be subbed in. Hitting a PR and cheering you on to work harder is just as important as scaling when you need to OR slowing up the pace. They have Crossfit classes that include weightlifting lifts and various high intensity (HIT) workouts. There are also bootcamp classes to get your heart racing. Either (or both) classes are sure to keep you moving and shaking. Note : There are various classes in the a.m. and p.m. for both Crossfit and boot camp. There are showers upstairs if you need, great perk if you need to get to work after. Also, the parking lot is located within a shopping plaza with plenty of spaces. Added bonus: The staff and members are amazing! Everyone is super nice and fun. We not only help each other out, we crack jokes and plan social events. We are one giant team of friends cheering each other on in and outside of the gym. That makes all the gasping for air and sweating 1000 times more enjoyable!

Other members too are able to get their workout done with ease unlike other locations where people are on their phone, taking up the machines and not actually using them efficiently. I have gone early morning around 7 AM and I have also gone in the evenings around 7/8 PM. I have not taken any classes yet, but will soon explore some. My only one complaint is that I have unable to use the sauna due to it being out of order. Hopefully, they're able to repair it soon. I have also heard and read in other reviews that it is frequently being repaired. Hopefully that gets resolved soon.

First, I do want to say the staff were absolutely lovely. We arrived before everything was already set up, and they let my two young children help with scattering some of the eggs beforehand, which was a really kind and memorable touch. They were also great about sharing information on other programs, including a YMCA date night service where parents can drop off their kids while they enjoy dinner and a movie, which honestly sounds like something we might try in the future. The setup itself was a classic "scatter and go" format, with plastic eggs spread across a field and kids released at the same time. While exciting, it always makes things pretty chaotic, and our two-year-old ended up with candy like hard Jolly Ranchers and gum, which aren't really appropriate for toddlers and felt like a bit of a miss given the age range advertised for the section we were told to participate in. For future events, it would be great if the eggs in the under-3 section were filled only with toddler-appropriate items to help avoid potential choking hazards and make the experience more enjoyable, and less stressful, for parents of little ones. The bigger issue, though, was the "golden egg" system. The idea is great, special eggs with prizes inside, but in practice it created some awkward dynamics. We saw families staking out golden eggs ahead of time, including one instance where a parent encouraged their child to literally sit with their hand on an egg before the event started. I'm not here to judge anyone, but it did take away from the fairness and fun of the hunt. A simple fix would be to go more "Willy Wonka" style next time, hide the golden prize as a surprise inside regular eggs rather than making them visible targets. That would keep the excitement while making things feel a lot more equitable for all kids. Overall, a fun event with great staff and good energy, but a few thoughtful tweaks could make it much more enjoyable and inclusive for everyone.

Upon arriving to Volcano Bay, I immediately went to the Sales/Tickets counter to purchase Mom's and my tickets. I wanted to purchase the tickets with gift cards I had. Gift cards can only be used on site and can not be redeemed online. (I was also able to pay for parking at Universal with one of the gift cards.) Lockers are, of course, available for rent. It was 7 of us so we got a family locker. That didn't work. We had to rent another family locker to hold all our stuff. The family lockers are not big enough if you have multiple bags. Some of the staff are cool. We encountered one team member who greeted almost everyone in the Kopiko Wai Winding River (lazy river). Every time we winded back around to where he sat overlooking and safeguarding the river he spoke. His attitude was hospitable and refreshing.

I was in Orlando for a week and visited the Armor Crossfit Box. Not only were the trainers welcoming and helpful so was everyone I met at the box. They seem to be "family!" There is a real since of community. There were folks of all ages so I did not feel out of place. There was activity everywhere including a very comprehensive "crossfit kids" program. Not sure though who was having more fun running, jumping and playing, the kids or the adults. And yes the trainers, Jeremy and Scott kicked my butt for the week I was with them. I learned many new skills which I have now shown to the guys I work out with in New York. If your looking for a place for a good workout and want to make new friends I highly recommend the Armor Crossfit box. read more

I am visiting from the South Florida area where I Wod at my local box Crossfit Fever. I googled crossfit in Ocoee and found Armor Crossfit. I went in this morning to enquire about the cost to wod as a guest and was greeted by Jeremy, who informed me that I could work out for the rest of my stay for free. I think it is awesome that a box would show that kind of courtesy to a traveling crossfitter. During the entire warm up and the actual Wod Jeremy was extremely attentive to me and the other members. Love the entire Armor community! Started in Jan 2013, and I haven't looked back. I am stronger, faster, and fitter than I have ever been thanks to the programming and coaching at Armor Crossfit. They push you to be the best you can be, but work within your limitations to get over your hurdles/hang ups/ailments. It is intense, but is scalable to any ability and you are in and out in an hour us you end up chatting with your new found friends. The community aspect is fantastic too. ACF is not just a boring bland gym like most of those "big box" places like Gold's or Lifestyle where you never even know the names of the staff or fellow gym members. They focus on the original Idea of crossfit, "Lots of pushups, pull ups, situps, burpees, etc" instead of the the heavy lifting 145lb snatches you would see at other crossfit gyms. Which helped me with alot of my military fitness tests over the last year and half and to me, seems more practical. Now that I am home for the time being, I go here almost everyday. Its so addicting. On a side note, I was in a bad car accident in March, ended up gaining 40lbs. Went back in July and have worked out almost everyday since and I lost those 40lbs and not to mention Im stronger than I ever was before. I never thought I would be able to do the things I was able to do before my accident ever again but John and the rest of the coaches motivated me everyday and for that, I am forever grateful. There is a long row on the back wall of bars for pull-ups, muscle ups etc. I've done a couple unofficial workouts here with local community members and friends and family of the owner. I've invited a couple friends as well. Everyone has felt welcome and they go over everything for the newbies. They're keen on letting people know how to modify or scale the workout according to your fitness level, age, injuries etc. I have never had any issue finding equipment for the workout. There is enough to go around. The warmup sometimes is a little jog around the parking lot and they have it all measured. I can't wait for this place to be up and running fully. I hear they may have a cool hangout area, lockers, showers, even a tanning bed. We shall see! In the meantime- they are on instagram so check them out there for more info.

I have added years to my life and changed my entire attitude about myself and my capabilities and it is all because of my Trainer Tristan Reaves, my fellow gym mates and the abundance of positivity and encouragement that I receive every time I walk through the door. There is no pressure or judgement. They will welcome you regardless of what shape your in and they will make you feel soooo good about being there and doing what you have to do. Please just do it. I am so much better than I was even last week. Look for me there and tell me I am not wrong! Classes and equipment are state of art, you will be in and out in an hour. They will improve your flexibility, strength, range of motion, balance, cardio and mentality. You will see all ages here getting better every day.

There are many clients that have been here as long, or longer than me. I appreciate the classbased teaching, with an individualized touch. The coaches and owners know my name. There is such a sense of community here. I have a complete home gym, but I still love coming to CrossFit EW for the community and a class. I certainly push myself more in a group situation, and I appreciate the coaches watching each one of us, giving tips and tricks and pointers. They won't even go so far as to tell you how much weight to lift or give you additional exercise options if you're not comfortable with a particular exercise or if you were not very proficient in a particular exercise. I appreciate their expertise. This gym is not a typical CrossFit gym because it has a towel service, clean bathrooms, clean showers, plenty of parking, as well as a small bar area which serves protein shakes to order. The equipment is in good shape, and there is plenty of equipment for everyone in the class. You also don't have to clean up after yourself, like some CrossFit gyms, this place has a cleaning crew and the coaches are very good about keeping it clean. Of course you have to return your own equipment, you can't leave it sitting out, but those are the same rules for any gym. There are new monthly challenges, a whiteboard to post your personal goals, and fun member events sporadically throughout the year. This is a great gym to start your journey of fitness. They focus on physical and mental well-being, exercise, and nutrition. There are so many different classes and courses available, as well as individualized training. No notification on transition of membership and Elite (JoJo) tells me they knew nothing about Tribe's liability that should have sat on Tribe's balance sheet and discovered during due diligence of the acquisition. If anyone else lost money in this transaction, message me please. When one entity acquires another, they acquire their assets AND liabilities.
