Strawberry pot and plants I was able to get here
    Brianne B.

Love coming to this Armstrong when I get the chance! I live in vista so it's a little drive but one I'm always willing to do. They have one of the best selections out of the Armstrongs around. I always find what I'm looking for and everyone is so helpful and goes out of their way to help. The management is extremely nice and so helpful with returns/exchanges/price matching. I always look forward to coming here and hope it stays open forever!!

Great pottery and wonderful Lavender and Lantana

Do yourself a favor and come down here for your garden needs. Better selection than those big box stores. Wide variety of flowers, herbs, shrubs and bushes. And a variety of sizes. Gallon or larger are available. And the variety of garden pottery is also quite extensive. If you have questions, the service here is exceptional. Again, as compared to the service at big box stores, the people who work here have great insights into what will work for your garden needs.

Excellent layout and deflection of garden needs. Beautiful and extensive variety of houseplants. All kinds of tools, fertilizers, tchotchkes. Abundant amount of annuals, perennial plants as well as fountains, pots etc. Easy entrance/exit. I would shop Here again.

This is located off of Piraeus Street that runs along the Northbound 5fwy. We entered Piraeus from Leucadia Boulevard. The commercial entrance came up first, then the regular customer entrance, thanks to their clear signs. It was mid-afternoon on a Thursday in January, so maybe that's why the nursery lot was kind of empty the further we went in. At the front area though, there were poinsettia trees still in bloom. I didn't even know that they can grow into trees (they don't last very long after the holidays in my care, lol), so I was actually fascinated to see them so big. They also had a fenced area with 2 small goats, possibly pygmy goats...so cute and friendly. Considering the cold weather, they had a good selection of healthy cacti, potted flowers and plants at reasonable prices (i.e., 4" pot of succulent $5.99, 6pk annuals/perennials $4.99). The bigger shrubs like hydrangea and hebe coed were more expensive ($26.99 and $28.99, respectively), but beautifully kept. We had no plans to garden any time soon so didn't plan on buying anything, but ended up getting some plant accessories, including a car-shaped ceramic planter that kiddo really liked, lol. Service was okay. We were the only ones there and took our time browsing, but no one asked if we needed help. The woman at the cash register wasn't rude, but not particularly friendly either.

It's a nice cafe in Solana Beach. The service is amazing and their specialty Lattes are what I go for. I enjoy the French and Brazilian cafe music they play in the background. I enjoyed the coastal breeze. While you sip and enjoy a treat you can perhaps play tic tac toe and or other games on the front patio/ picket fenced in yard. Super cute place! The Lattes I go for are The Gardener (lavender, honey, vanilla) and The Farmer(vanilla and brown sugar). Made with organic espresso and love. We've even enjoyed visiting the bunnies for 22$ per person (plus tip if you'd like too) gives you about 20-30 minutes of interaction with the bunnies. You sign a waiver with the host and they'll give you instructions on the rules. You might even get to feed them too. I loved it so much! I grew up with bunnies as pets so this was soooo nostalgic for me! Come and support this family owned business and perhaps pet a bunny. You'll like it a lotte! *they do have a handwashing station too. In case you are wondering about that.

Cute concept and adorable bunnies- all the stars for the bunnies. But Samantha, who I believe is…read morethe manager, was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily hostile. Instead of treating customers with even basic courtesy, she was annoyed that anyone was there. A simple question was met with a nasty attitude, and the interaction left us feeling completely unwelcome. I saw her speak to other customers in the same manner, so it wasn't just us. Unfortunately, the coffee wasn't any better. It was poorly made, tasted burnt and bitter, and wasn't worth finishing. For a coffee shop, that's the one thing that should be done well. There are plenty of other local cafés where you'll be treated with respect and get a much better cup of coffee. Only draw is the bunnies, who I really hope Samantha treats with more care and kindness than she does her customers; I honestly am concerned for their wellbeing after experiencing how Samantha treats people.
