Pretty solid Mexican food. I did the three amigos tacos...shrimp, carne asada, and carnitas. I also the trio chips and guacamole, queso, and salsa for the table. Salsa was really good. About 30% overpriced for Mexican food but not any other choices up here at lunchtime. Top of the Rock cart tour and museum made this worth it!

This was the only restaurant open before 4 at top of the rock. Wait was about 30 minutes and we were sat. Dining room has a great view. Our server was attentive so no issues there. I ordered the corn chowder which i thought would have whole corn in a cream based sauce. It came out pureed and had just ok flavor. My son got the kids chicken nuggets and fries and said they tasted weird. I tried both and it appears they need to change out the grease. Husband got the chimichanga and the chicken looked gray but he said it was ok. Would skip this place unless they make some changes soon.

    Portobello mushroom taco's...splendid!!

Amazing views of Table Rock Lake. Good food and atmosphere. Nice place to catch some grub after touring the Natural History Museum. The Mushroom Taco's were so GOOD! 3 tacos's loaded with mushrooms, guacamole, pico & pickled onions. Includes rice & beans.

If you're in Branson, I consider this a must... be it for a meal, or simply to see the Barn structure, golf course, and scenery/landscaping surrounding it. Wow! That darling little church visible from the veranda, so gorgeous! Beware, you probably shouldn't arrive hangry - be prepared to wait. It is always bustling and justifiably so (for reasons already stated). We sat out on the perimeter deck on a weather-perfect day. I got the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The salad and dressing were delicious but those cornbread croutons? Big no. Great idea, but they were bland and an unpleasant texture.

Did I mention the menu is the same as the Osage restaurant which required reservations months ago. Oh BTW the golf course and the ancient church to your left comes out of a postcard- only you're in it. To say it looks pretty is like saying the Grand Canyon is large. Because it's the 4th of July, we also got an airshow, bagpipes, canons exploding, and the pièce de résistance - fireworks in your face(maybe 100 yards away) timed to patriotic music. Folks it doesn't get any better. The food is almost secondary. We had the signature fried chicken and lobster ravioli. My wife got the scallops - no complaints. The standout however was the complimentary bread, spread some of that black rock salt butter and you will experience the sublime. The crew was super chill with all the pressures of this holiday and Tyler our server was more than nice.

There is not a dress code here which was nice as we were not dressed up for the upscale dining experience. The elk soup was phenomenal really surprised me although I ordered it extra hot and it was warm at best. The whipped honey butter with truffle sea salt was amazing as well. Honestly, this fine dining experience is worth the price!

I recently returned a year after the first visit, and it hasn't changed a bit. The menu is extensive insofar as classic American fare is concerned, but this isn't the kind of place you'll find 4 clever variations on Eggs Benedict. Anything named after Benedict Arnold has no place in the Ozarks. A year ago, I ordered a western omelet, which commanded my attention and exertions for the better part of 20 minutes. The portions are definitely generous - the pancakes are the size of pizzas. If you're on Ozempic, either skip this place or confine yourself to a single slice of wheat toast. Some gals in the group demurely ordered half portions of biscuits and gravy, thinking a dainty portion would show dedication to preserving their girlish figures. These "half portions" filled the entire (largish) plate. I made a mental note to opt for this on any future visit, and that future arrived this week. Biscuits were country-good, and the gravy was substantial, not that watery stuff that is sometimes drizzled on Pillsbury-from-the-tube biscuits. If you're in Branson, head a little south of the dam to Hungry Hunter. Get there early, because this place is deservedly popular and there will probably be a wait. And the parking can be a bit contentious. It's not open on Monday or Tuesday.

There was something off-putting about the CFS. I didn't care for the coating or the gravy. I'd give it a 2/5. My stepmom gave it a 4/5. Her tastebuds are broken. My dad enjoyed his omelette and said the veggies were lightly sautéed and not greasy. The service was good. The wait was not worth the taste of the CFS, but honestly, 0 minutes of waiting is not worth the CFS. I typically love CFS, but in this case, I wish I had tried the French toast instead. Me: 2/5 (based solely on taste, 5/5 for portion size) Stepmom: 4/5 Dad: 5/5 then amended to 8/10, which is 4/5
