Got the best seats in the house on a small patio on the very top floor. The cheese dip and the guacamole were excellent. The view was spectacular. The food was well done and was plentiful. We ate at Arnie's twice during our stay. The guacamole is delicious. I at the veggie fajitas once and the chickpea salad. Both were very good. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The view over the golf course was incredible. I would recommend eating here. Also, the history of the construction is a great history lesson. read more

We loved our lunch! The portions were great, the food was great, especially the street corn and the guacamole. Omg the guacamole sampler. GET THIS. It's fresh, huge and well worth the price! The views are beautiful. If you can request a table outside, do so. The deck overlooks the sinkhole. Loved that lemonade/tea AP's came with unlimited refills. I took a star off for the rice and beans. They were pretty bland. And the salsa, while very fresh had no heat. The ambiance is enough of a reason to come here. The views are breathtaking and the restaurant is gorgeous. I had the combo plate and agree with some of the other reviewers. The quesadilla was great, the corn was fabulous, and spicy salsa they bring is really good. Nice roasty spicy flavor. The chicken enchilada was just okay, as well as the fish taco. This is my top pick for a date night restaurant. The views are AMAZING, the atmosphere is romantic and inviting, and they have delicious food! I highly recommend the chicken enchiladas. I usually take the shuttle to the restaurant and opt out of the valet parking. Occasionally the shuttle bus drivers will give an informative tour on the drive up. Tip: Bring a jacket. We came here for Thanksgiving. HORRIBLE!!! The food was bland and buffet was empty even after we waited for 30-45 minutes for them to refill. The stuffing was runny and vegetables way undercooked. We go there everytime we stay at Big Cedar, 3x per year. They have a new executive chef who has really cut back. The guacamole at $12 was half the size as normal and hardly any ingredients in it. It's ok. I love the decor and location. It's nice to have another Big Cedar option too. The food is the reason I don't love it. And, to be fair, I've never had a meal that I hated there, but I've never had anything on the Semi-limited menu that I thought I couldn't wait to order again. I have to agree with most of the other reviewers - the ambiance, view, and natural beauty (building and grounds) is magnificent. They could serve PBJs and I'd probably pay to go. This was some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. But the service was a let down from start to finish. We came in around 2pm, and while several tables open, the manger took our name and told us and a few other parties there would be a 10 minute wait. When we were sat, there was no interaction between us and the hostess. The Server came over quickly. Me wife asked about drink specials and she said they never have special, and all the drinks are special. We ordered and she handled our request with our issue, and she brought the drinks and chips and salsa. Explained the two types of salsa, and I thought things were looking up. When our food was delivered, by another server, we realized we had no silver ware. It was quickly handled. The food was delicious and our server checked back to see if we needed anything, and we hardly ever saw her again. When we finished eating, another server pre-bussed our dishes, but made no inquiries with us. After several minutes, the manager came by and apologized for our food taking so long, due to the kitchen losing our ticket. We told him we already had eaten. He seemed relieved but I never saw him go to another table. We also asked him for a dessert menu, which he brought over. The dessert menu was unappealing, so when the server finally returned we just asked for our check. I am sure with the tourist filled area, service may not be a priority, but this was beyond bad. read more

That was a great touch that you don't get many places. We really enjoyed it and if we ever come back to Branson, we will definitely eat here again. Not sure what the person that said bad things about the valet, we had no problems. They were very fast and efficient. Plus you get a $10 voucher when you go in the gate, how great is that? hi, i don't usually review things, but i had to review this. the service, view, and the decorations were beautiful, BUT the food isn't good at all. the chips were good, but the queso was weird. it was like a cheddar cheese instead of the normal white American cheese. my sister and i got the beef enchiladas, and it was gross. it had this weird sauce and it was ew. the corn was ok i guess, but i'm from Louisiana, so i say it doesn't have enough seasoning. the rice was gross, and the beans were ok. i ended up not eating a lot of it, it was gross. i feel like the vibe of that place is for comfort food, or steak. i would expect macaroni, mashed potatoes, potato skins, steak, burgers, green beans, and other stuff like that. i feel like Mexican did not fit the vibe. it was also extremely overpriced. and to finish it off, the waitress said the food was spicy, but i believe it was under seasoned. read more

I am sitting in the restaurant as I write this review because I honestly cannot believe how bad the food is here. The server was unfriendly, our $10 nacho appetizer was cold and under the top few chips was an entire bag of crumbs so we sent it back. My husband ordered the burger and fries...burger was mediocre at best. The fries were limp and soaked in grease and he couldn't eat them. I ordered the pork quesadilla meal and it was very bland. The "Mexican Street corn" was obviously boiled and I've had better at Chili's. The rice tasted like instant wild rice versus Mexican rice. We will not return and it is unfortunate that a place of this standard would find this acceptable. read more

This a beautiful restaurant with amazing view. It is a small menu with predominantly Mexican fare. There were Gluten free options & our server seemed knowledgeable about Gluten options. We ate at the Buffalo Bar at Top of the Rock and had a marvelous time. We enjoyed listening to a live performer and had the best food and service. I highly recommend the roasted halibut. The food was good, a healthier choice of Mexican fair. The view was what made the entire experience worth it. Our table over looked the driving range and the rear of the chapel. Both were spectacular views. There was a small wedding going on during our lunch and it was just beautiful to see the family and bridal procession file into the chapel. Back to the food, we had the queso, it was just ok because the cheese was not fully melted when it was served. Everyone at the table gobbled it up anyways. I chose the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans it also had Mexican corn. That was a lot of food, more than I could eat in one sitting. Overall the food was really good and the service was OK. First of all the hostess was less than enthusiastic about her job. A window seat with if you wasn't available they needed to clean the table so we waited however that wasn't in the table we got seated at our view was of the construction site but made the most of it we just turned our chairs the other direction for a better View which is a very beautiful view. Or wait for the food was a lot longer than it should have been but our waitress kept our glasses full and kept us updated on the arrival. chips and salsa is the same as pretty much any Mexican restaurant the salsa was mild. My husband had the braised beef enchiladas and I had the carnita tacos. This is definitely not Mexican food as you would know it both Meats were very dry the beans had no seasoning at all very Bland the rice tasted like chili powder was dumped on top. I've been wanting to eat at Arnies for some time now. All I can say is it didn't disappoint. From the moment I walked in and saw the breathtaking views and smelled the Mexican aroma till the last lick of the plate of my chipotle chocolate brownie, I was in Top of the Rock heaven. The old lady had the combo plate which looked incredible. I didn't get to taste it because she ate every last drop and I know better to stop that cougar. I had the chicken enchiladas which had to be the best I've tasted since my lean cuisine chicken enchiladas. Unbelievable food. Thought I was in Mexico.
