Order a ol fashion double cheese burger with mustard no onions to go. Got home and I got a single burger with the meat only fitting half the bun. There was no lettuce nor tomatoes and no cheese. They charged $10 for this. Not worth the money. This isn't the first time I've been disappointed with this resturant. I do not recommend them. My wife and I pass through Lone Star every couple of weeks and we always stop in for a hamburger and fries. The service is excellent with a friendly and helpful staff. The dining room is always full of locals to visit with and pass the time of day. We recently moved back to the area after being gone for twenty years and one of the first things we did was drive to Lone Star to be sure Arnold's was still around. read more

Not much to choose from in Lone Star. So we weren't expecting much. But we read the reviews and gave it a try. Hubby had the hamburger with fries and I had grilled shrimp chef salad and onion rings. We were very pleasantly surprised! Best onion rings I've ever had...and I ate every bite of my salad (I never finish anything usually!) Hubby loved his food too!! Service was great! read more

I am utterly astonished at these reviews. I'm convinced these people are somehow related to Arnold's. Something about driving through Lone Star from Dallas to get to Oklahoma isn't adding up. Neither are the words "delicious" and "charming" in reference to this roach motel. I will admit, I haven't been in this establishment in a few years, but I did spend the majority of my childhood and teens in this place. The two or three times in my life that I ever dared to eat here, I got traumatizingly ill. I remember the food being so bad, my dad would say the owners/people making and serving it should really be embarrassed! This place is, however, the only restaurant in Lone Star that has stayed in business for the past 20+ years Back in the day, the old geezers who spent their entire life in here smoking and drinking coffee kept this place running. I was sure that when they banned smoking inside that they would be going out of business, but somehow, they're staying afloat. Like I said, I haven't been here in a wihle, but I feel like it's my duty to declare that there is no way in hell this food can be considered delicious, exceptional, or even worth coming back for. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw a 4.5 rating for this place. Please, just take my advice and keep driving for a few minutes. There's amazing bbq like 5 miles away in Daingerfield, and awesome catfish like 7 miles away in Ore City. Even if you're starving to death and unfortunately stuck in Lone Star, you'd be better off going to a gas station for lunch..... Seriously. What a joke. read more

Frozen fries, frozen tater tots, just ok tea. The kids liked the chicken tenders, the over easy egg was done right, the burger looked okay. But frozen fries for such a manageable spot shows lack of interest. They lack motivation which is sad. read more

Arnold's food was solid and well-priced. I went there twice for lunch with a group, and between us, we tried the hamburgers, catfish sandwich, tuna salad sandwich, vegetable beef soup, cornbread, and cobbler. Everyone was happy both times, and we'll undoubtedly go back the next time we're in Lone Star. read more

I would just like to say, I am in no way related to Arnold's. If you'll note, 99% of my reviews are Dallas based. Also, I grew up no where near Lone Star. Going through the city to get to Broken Bow, Oklahoma makes sense when you make a wrong turn onto highway 11 instead of staying on 30 - we got slightly lost because 3 roads intersect there. Great food! Big portion. Great price. The biscuits were soft and fluffy. The breakfast burrito that I ordered was flavorful. Caution! They are on Hwy 259, not on Industrial. We had a hard time finding the restaurant based on the Yelp address. The phone number is correct. read more

One of the few restaurants that remain open in this area. I've been a few times for breakfast, food is reasonably priced and good. Dining area and bathrooms have always been clean. It can be a bit of a wait for service during the rush, but nothing that would discourage anyone from eating there unless they were in a real hurry. Staff is friendly and laid back. read more

for what is available to eat around here this place is actual pretty good and much better than Wildflower.....and cheap. and that lady in the kitchen makes a great omelet and can do something most can not...and that's make a proper egg over medium...this is my 2nd time eating here this month and both times the service was horrible...not rude, just untrained so they don't any better but very friendly. a clean place too.... we will keep coming back.. read more

I go in for breakfast usually and mostly all the time. I feel the food and services are well worth the effort for stopping in to eat. I find the people friendly and very helpful, shud you be lost in a small town like Lonestar. Arnolds offer a menu appropriate for your budget. It is located near a lake where one can enjoy after or before visiting the infamous resturant. Im from Arizona, so this of course I would say I recommend. read more
