They push products on you and tell you your condition is worse than it is. At my first appointment, Dr. Chien said I had plantar fasciitis. At my second appointment, he said I have achilles tendonitis. Okay... He said I would have to wear a cast on each foot for three weeks each or six weeks total. My feet were in pain so I went ahead and bought the foot splints and plastic-shower-contraption-slippers to cover my feet so that they don't get wet (see pictures attached). My pain temporarily felt better for a day but then they felt worse and then my entire body ached from this "treatment". It was incredibly uncomfortable and annoying to shower with that weird plastic slipper. It was difficult to walk at all. The cast wrappings on my feet were so itchy so that I ended up cutting it off myself. I have been seeing another podiatrist and feel much better. I also ordered a foot massager on Amazon which I use every day and bought new running sneakers and my feet feel great. Bottom line: pushy, shady cash-only, the receptionist is not friendly. P.S. read the other low-rated Yelp reviews and see how they attack customers. That's not how you do business. I brought up the low-rated Yelp reviews in person and the doctor went into a long tirade about how they are written by fake trolls. Sure... because I checked their profiles and it checks out. Another con: I disliked how much the doctor talks. I want to be in-and-out of my appointments. That's not the case here.

I'm sorry she felt she had a bad experience, but I just can't imagine how. I've never had to wait for an appointment-in fact if I'm early, they take me right in. I found his office and equipment to be modern and clean, and both he and his staff were, and are, very personable and professional-shout out to Gracie and Kim! But to begin the story of my own experience, Dr. Moser came HIGHLY recommended to me by a friend who had her bunions done by him. The thing I was most concerned about was recovery time on bunion surgery-I read all these horror stories online about being off your feet for 6 WEEKS! My friend said her recovery from surgery with Dr. Moser was very fast, so I went to him to get my right foot done first. I found him to be kind, warm and funny, and very careful about explaining every part of the procedure clearly. The best part was that he said I'd be in a flip-flop in about 2 weeks...and he was right-no 6-week recovery!!! In fact, I was NEVER totally off my feet but you do have to rest up and elevate it as much as possible the first 3 days. I had my surgery on 5/5/11, and I wore a soft cast and and a lightweight boot until 5/18. I took Ibuprofen 800 for the pain-just a sidebar comment here: The label on IB 800 says to take it with food, but it doesn't say you can't drink with it...AMEN...that's about as religious as I get. I think "spirituality" takes many forms, and vodka IS a spirit...especially when you and your ass-hat of a boyfriend break up during your surgery recovery. But I digress. It is 5/20 today-I have a very small amount of pain, the stitches haven't come out yet so I have Frankenfoot and some swelling, but I AM already wearing flip-flops, just like Dr. Moser promised! He took his time in making sure that I understood my after care instructions and to answer any questions I had. Gracey his assistant was great and very friendly. She definitely helps put the patient at ease by chatting with them. Michelle has been awesome in getting all my insurance stuff handled. I have junk insurance and the office did everything possible to work with me in order to get my procedure done and covered by insurance. I work in a doctors office and I see how sometimes there is not enough emphasis put on patient care...that is NOT he case here in Dr Moser's office! Luckily I was eventually referred to a competent podiatrist who took more than one x-ray and was able to identify a fracture immediately. Of course, since there was no diagnosis months ago, now my insurance won't cover several of his recommended treatments for a slow healing fracture. Amazing. I've been a user of Yelp for years but this is my first review since I just had to share this with anyone reading. I'm just amazed at the gross neglect in this case. Not to mention, she sold my orthotics for triple the price of Amazon. Beware!

Dr. Wong is an amazing and attentive doctor with a kind, caring demeanor and excellent bedside…read moremanner. I came to him with some foot pain that I have been dealing with for 2-3 years. I have something called PTTD (posterior tibialis tendonitis disorder) which is basically a tearing/weakening of the tendon on the inner part of my foot/ankle. Another podiatrist I was seeing prescribed me orthotics and physical therapy. Did both, but my symptoms and pain weren't changing (and on some days, even got worse). I did something called PRP injection which didn't have any effect. I also got an MRI which confirmed what we knew - tendon tearing in the area I was describing. The pain continued and I was ready to throw in the towel and started looking into invasive flat foot reconstruction surgery which I didn't want to do given the post-surgery downtime (also the cost!) When I first visited Dr. Wong, I explained my issue, the things I already tried, and how I've had flat feet and a certain 'duck footed' gait all my life. He took time to understand my issue and where the pain was and asked relevant questions to figure out the root cause - which is so important for a foot doctor to do. He explained that the foot is interconnected with other body systems and my issue was likely stemming from somewhere else - tight calves/hamstrings and poor walking mechanics. Instead of only focusing on the foot, he explained how my walking was affecting my hips, knees, back, and eventually, the foot. He was able to tell all this from some subtle but important clues - shoe wear patterns, where callouses were forming on my feet, and testing my ankle mobility to tell that my calves/legs were tight. This led me down the rabbit hole of internet research which supported his conclusion that my foot problems were caused by something bigger up the chain. He helped me to develop a plan to fix my leg and gait issues which will lessen the harmful forces on my feet and recommended an even stronger orthotic than the one I had to help with the pain and pressure on that inner tendon. It will take months for me to change the way I've been walking for 36 years but I already see the improvement and progress. I wish I visited Dr. Wong years ago for this, but I feel like I am on a better path to recovery. I'm looking forward to updating him on my progress and referring all my friends and family to him.

Dr. Raymond Cavaliere is an outstanding practitioner. He recently saved the life of a friend in my…read morecircle by his skillful observation of her vital signs. He is extremely cautious when puncturing or cutting is to be done, and he uses ultrasound in guiding the administration of cortisone drugs if he deems them necessary. He saved me an expensive and painful surgery years ago by correctly telling me that a surgery was not necessary if I allowed him to treat my right heel spur using an ultrasound guided administration of meds. What a relief compared to the complex surgery performed by a highly regarded bone surgeon on my left heel. If Dr. Cavaliere does not feel he can treat your illness, he is up front in telling you so. He saved a golfing friend real pain by correcting his muscle stance. The same goes for another friend who is a runner. I find Doctor Cavaliere pleasant and engaging, but his bedside manner is not why he is is sought after. His office staff is kind and meticulous.
