Haven't had the brunch here but had a coffee and small turtle concha. Saturday morning there was a few people already inside eating. Just ordered a concha and coffee to go, Dulce de leche was not sweet at all, concha was warm and cute but wasn't a fan of the pan itself. Maybe next time I'll come and try their brunch items.

I had been to Xulo for their adorable turtle conchas, but went in this time to claim a birthday reward. I was hesitant to order the chicken panini because of the green apples, but Im glad I did! It surprisingly added the perfect crunch element and wasn't too sweet. The dressing on the salad was delicious! For it being a Saturday for lunch, service was quick. Loved the vibe! Look forward to trying some of their coffee drinks!

Cheap eats!! Small, lively, casual coffee and brunch spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu leans heavily toward Mexican fare. Recommended drinks: dulce de leche coffee and the Mexican mocha. For brunch, the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros were solid choices. They also sell mini conchas shaped like little turtles, which I thought was a really cute touch: only about $2 each. Service was fast and efficient. You order and pay at the counter before seating.

This such a nice place has an open space lots windows and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful going over menu. They have chilaquiles it was pleasant surprise to see it on menu. The coffee was good thought was strong which I like that's a plus. As parking plenty no struggle finding & another thing it's close by freeway south or north

This place is perfect!! The customer service was great, and the food and drinks were amazing.

There is something about this place that is so comforting. The lattes are so delicious and when you sit here and sip on one, it's satisfying. Waffles are fluffy inside crunchy outside and addictively good! I have also had the rancheros and it's simple good fresh food! Yum! Everyone is kind, it's clean always and it's a nice place to meet up or hang out while you work or study. Plenty of space and seating. Stop in to this casual spot and you won't be disappointed !

I have been here two days in a row for a Dulce de leche latte with oat milk and both times it was AMAZING! I love a place that's consistent with their drinks. I haven't tried anything else but I'll likely be here weekly for this. It's the perfect iced coffee especially with the heat we have been having in Sacramento. Can't believe I have been missing out on this sweet gem

OVERALL: Stood in line starting at 1051am, finally ordered at 1102am. Guy behind me waiting just left. Was going to give this place 1 star but instead am giving them 2 stars due to redemption towards the end. COLD BREW WITH SOYMILK: I don't understand how this is a cold brew if said person just puts regular coffee in a half cup of soymilk with ice. I thought cold brew was supposed to be grounded up coffee beans soaked in water for at least overnight or a few hours. Very dilute with an extreme bitter aftertaste. Not good at all. SERVICE: "I AM NOT DOING ESPRESSO DRINKS, DID YOU NOT SEE THE SIGN?" Rudely spoken by the barista. The sign by the way was minusculely posted on the door (approx 1 inch white paper written with sharpie). VIBEZ: Diner like table and chairs or booths to pick from. Casual. Lots of folks on their laptops. Located in the Dollar Tree plaza. Plentiful parking in a private lot. Would I come back? No.

Stopped in on a Sunday morning. It wasn't too busy when I arrived but shortly after it was packed. I tried their Cajeta latte. So good & so creamy. Not too sweet. I'm going to have to come back to try their mojito latte & their paninis. Super cute decor. There's inside and outside seating. Staff were friendly. Plenty of parking.

Wonderful quaint Mexican cafe serving up delicious brunch staples, cute conchas, and GARGANTUAN lattes. The latte was MASSIVE. Holy mother **** this thing was the size of a newborn child and only $7 (unlike a newborn child). Just for the value of this drink alone makes the trip out worth it. The turtle concha was a bit stale and tough, but the shape was very cute and I loved the vanilla icing! The avocado toast was SO FLAVORFUL and was a great sized portion. They actually put seasoning in the avocado spread THANK GOD hashbrowns were nice and crispy without being too oily. Service was friendly and very quick!

Exiting the 99 on Elk Grove blvd, this place is easy find in a small plaza just off of the freeway for a quick stop and a light lunch. The staff is nice and quick. They took my order for a Cuban sandwich with salad and my dulce de leche latte. The sandwich was as expect for a traditional Cuban sandwich. The bread soft and the meat was tender. The mustard wasn't heavy so it missed that acidic note, but still delicious. The salad however, simple, but the dressing was to die for! I honestly enjoyed the salad more than I did the sandwich lol. The inside was long and narrow, plenty of two seaters to lounge and study at. Great place to handle your business and get out of the office/house to get work done.

Amazing and beautiful French toast. Tasty Mexican mocha and cajeta coffee. Love the set up at this spot. It's not my first time and everything has always tasted great! Bought a couple conchas to go - $2 each. Great price.

Rarely in the Elk Grove area but needed a pick me up after the gym and found Xulo! Amazing cold brew and def fresh taste. Ambiance is so nice inside and service is great! They have a great selection of coffee and teas and will try the Chai next time I stop by! It was a quick grab and go but it was an excellent experience for me!!

Their bathroom is towards the back of the building; they were nice and clean! The staff were friendly. Their menu has the standard coffee shop fare, with a few seasonal options. I opted for the banana pudding matcha. When I got it, the matcha was of a lighter color than I'm used to. Sadly, the matcha was a bit light in flavor, as well. The banana pudding was more of an artificial flavor than I preferred. The other thing is that they upcharge for alternative dairy options. While the shop was cute, the thing I didn't like about it was that I could feel the foot steps of customers walking (the ground felt hollow), which was distracting for me to get work done. A lot of people were on their laptops so it might be more of a personal preference. Other than that, the nice thing about this shop is that it gives you the vibes of a Sacramento cafe, without the headache of parking. There is a large parking lot nearby. Overall, it does the job for working at a coffee shop, but perhaps not my go-to.

Of all the croissants in the Sacramento area, this one from Mellobun is one of my top contenders for best in the city (favorite is Julian's in Folsom). The salt bread is a new discovery for me and the sourdough base also makes it stand out from traditional Asian salt breads. It has a nice crust and delicate interior that is fluffy and just the right saltiness. The Korean cream cheese was too sweet for my palate but it's always fun to try flavored versions of classic Viennoiserie. I was expecting a more savory cheese bread but this is definitely a sweet + onion flavor. Customer service is very responsive. The baked goods were a little late from scheduled pick-up and the bakery texted me to confirm new time; was missing a croissant in my box and the team quickly refunded for the correct amount of goods.

Parking was confusing, didn't realize it was in a church and there wasn't really obvious signage from the parking lot that you're in the right spot. I had to look at the other review pictures to be like okay, I am here. Interior is cute and modern, but lacking that lived in feel I prefer for coffee shops. Service was quick. The coffee itself seems to lean towards biblical (lol?) food items. Think olive oil, dates, tahini, honey. I got the Tahini Einspanner because how fun, I can get some tastes of tahini and date but the whip and syrup didn't mix well into the drink despite me aggressively trying so it just lasted like a $7 plain latte. I almost had to bite the whip because it was so thick. Seems like they're using quality ingredients so the intention is there, the executions needs some refinement.

The ambience is so comfortable & relaxing. The lights are soft & pacifying, the acoustics are not super loud for my aging ears, even when it's packed with people. I love how conducive it is to conversation when im on dates or when I'm on 1-1 meetings or even with a group of 6 people. The chairs are padded, comfortable for my aging bones. Seating is from 2-6 seats. In the colder months there's heaters & chairs outside which is nice aesthetically, ambiencey & for that patio like feel.
