If the PNW was a coffee shop, it would be Aroma! This is probably my favorite coffee shop of all time. The drinks are phenomenal. The space is so cozy and warm. They have plenty of lounge space both inside and out. Most amazingly, it's home to Pete's Treefort! I've had the most lovely experience here every time I visit. As far as bites and sips go, they have a great menu! My favorite has to be their Salted Maple Latte. I love a salty sweet moment. While I haven't ventured into their food menu, their case is always full of gorgeous baked goods.

Now this is what we've been missing. Smiling faces walking through the door, well staffed and clean. Huge selection of breakfast, lunch and pastries. Super good fresh options for food and drink A+++

Looking for a coffee place, found this on Yelp. We fell in love with the place, architecture and the tree house. The house was built in the early 1900s. The tree house was added later. The coffee was great! I had the burnt honey, cinnamon latte. Everyone else in the party really enjoyed their lattes as well. My hubby had the Chorizo burrito which was very good, I had the Matcha almond cake which was AHMAZING. The service was great as well, despite it being very busy, they got our order out quickly You need to stop by this place , it's so much more than a coffee shop, it's an experience!

My son had a Lacrosse game at Chief Kanam Middle School. Downtown Fall City is very close by. After searching breakfast burrito, this was the only place that popped up in the area. Breakfast Burrito (3): It's a very small, bite-sized, refrigerated burrito in their customer accessible fridge as you walk in. They have a veggie and a chorizo. I opted for the chorizo. It was actually pretty tasty and the salsa they serve it with was a verde salsa which was slightly sweet with a slight kick. Not too spicy. It was good just very small especially for $10. Medium Roast Drip coffee (4): decent drip. Overall, this was a nice cafe and likely your only option in the area for breakfast burritos and decent coffee.

Aroma Cafe is amazing! I would give it 4.5/5 stars - rounding up to 5 here. The ambiance is so cozy and friendly, and the treehouse and outside area are the best! One of the best outside areas I've come across at coffee shops/cafes. Their signature drink selection is quite fun. I opted for the Bee in a Tree latte, which is made with burnt honey and cinnamon, and enjoyed it (I usually get plain lattes!). They have steamers for kiddos - I got my daughter one with the burnt honey flavor and she loved it. The pastry selection is wonderful though I would personally give a 4/5 to all the ones I tried. The matcha almond cake uses almond extract which I personally don't like. The white chocolate raspberry muffin didn't have the white chocolate come through enough and could use more raspberries. My daughter chose the double chocolate muffin which didn't seem to actually have chocolate chips in it. Other notable mentions - free wifi, clean bathroom, and an adult only upstairs seating area. Parking is in back and could feel limited if it's busy. We came on a Wednesday morning and there weren't many spots remaining. It's also right next door to the library! Overall, great cafe and kid friendly for those interested :)

Adorable little shop with a treehouse open to the public built by Pete Nelson. The Double chocolate muffin and hot chocolate with whip cream hit the spot.

A very cozy, homey coffee shop down in fall city! Amazing coffee and ALWAYS amazing service with the nicest baristas ever. Stop by for some delicious drinks and pastries, and they even have food you can grab for a quick breakfast or lunch! A must have!

What is there to NOT love about Aroma? They serve the best coffee ever, Camber Coffee beans. Their classic and unique drink options are the highest quality and made with love by the kindest, friendliest staff in the valley. The way they have retro-fitted this historic home into a cozy, community centered place to gather is nothing less than genius. I highly recommend Aroma to anyone and everyone that can appreciate delicious drinks, pastries, and a hometown vibe. My personal faves are Bee in a Tree, Vanilla Bean latte, Spicy Chai, and the Affogato.

Just something special about this place. Good coffee, good number of options for food and pastries, friendly service. But really the highlight is the personal and community vibe this spot has. They got something really good going here. Definitely worth a visit.

    Rosemary Latte

I drive 30-minutes for the best rosemary latte, with the honey lavender a close second! My new favorite coffee shop in WA. Great, friendly service with great outdoor seating and plenty of indoor spaces as well. Quintessential coffee house (in a literal house) with creative drinks, tasty treats, and cute merchandise.

Great little spot fall city. Cozy coffee shop/cafe. Coffee is great, smooth and delicious. It's sourced from Camber Coffee from Bellingham, WA. Highly recommend the Matcha Almond cake or the Apple Fritter for a sweets, I like the jalapeño pepper jack bagel (blazing bagels) for a savory. Staff is very friendly also. There is an upstairs area for extra seating and you can't miss the tree house ! This spot can get busy , but it's worth it . We live in Redmond and we make the drive to grab a cup on the weekends . Hope you make it out to this spot!

This cafe is so cute. You can definitely tell that this is a town favorite as soon as you walk up, you are greeted by a gorgeous treehouse. That is super kid friendly and there is no shortage of kind smiles. When you walk into the establishment. There are 3 options for gluten free foods: the banana walnut chocolate chip muffin, the lemon blueberry muffin and the house made biscotti.. while it is not a gluten free kitchen they do their best to accommodate and eliminate the potential risk of cross contamination by using separate utensils and different stations while baking. They have a very nice rocking chairs in the front to create a warm and welcoming ambience and the coffees they sell by the bag also smell amazing. I would add this coffee shop to your visit when you come into fall city!

    pumpkin pie latte
    Julie D.

I got the pumpkin pie latte per request of the cashier and it was so good! It tasted just like a pie. The price was also reasonable for a coffee. I also tried an apple cider which was sweet and fall tasting. The interior is clean and welcoming. I liked how they had the history of the building inside, it was neat to read while waiting. There is a small parking lot as well as street parking. Inside and outside has plenty of seating. I really enjoyed sitting under the heated patio on a rainy day. Hope I can stop by again!

The drink paired really well with our soul food order. The bartender was really polite and seemed to be good friends with his regulars which is a good sign. I asked him where we should put the drinks and he politely let me know to the side of where he served me would be great and there is a sign to put empty glasses as well. We will look forward to visiting when we can as we are all the way from Tacoma but it is definitely worth coming back to!

It's one of those magical places you remember vividly from childhood. We hiked the viewpoint path all the way down (and back up! ) before dinner. We had to change out of our sweaty hiking clothes in the parking lot. We were seated at a window view 4-top. (If you are frequent diners you'll understand how luxurious a 4-top is in a busy restaurant.) Our awesome server Damon started us with complimentary sparkling wine as an anniversary treat. Later came a small amuse bouche of dressed cherry tomatoes over what I think is the same pesto shown in the Romani beans photo. (We both have a tendency to start eating things before we remember to take the picture.) Our appetizer was the Burrata Cheese plate w/charred tomato & eggplant, lemon, over grilled olive bread. We ate it all before remembering to take a picture. (See previous paragraph.) He had the Cedar Smoked-Salmon in Dungeness crab and corn bisque, which I can't review because he wouldn't share any. I had the 14oz. Classic Center Cut Ribeye, which as you can see I tucked into before taking the shot. The steak was a perfect medium-rare and the Green peppercorn demi-glace is killer. Our sides were the Northwest Grits & Cheese Curds and a special that night of Romano Green Beans in Pesto. We fought over the last of the grits and took the last of the beans home for dinner the next night along with half of my ribeye. Dessert: What can I say? I hate sharing dessert to begin with. However, the attitude of the morning staff is just terrible. 3 of the last four visits have been poor. The two women working the morning shift are really rude. Today, I ordered a hot 16oz white coffee, with oat milk, and half the normal vanilla. The lady taking my order proceeds to tell me with a scowl on her face, that I order my drink "weird" and can't keep track. I repeat my order, then ask politely, "how should I order that?" Her: A 16oz latte... Me: With white coffee Her: Yeah Me: and oat milk Her: Yeah Me: half the vanilla Her: Yeah Me: Isn't that what I just said, I just didn't use the specific word latte? Her: I don't know, whatever... I also ordered a 32oz iced latte. They made it 24oz. When I asked if it was the 32oz, the barista said, "no, you ordered a 24oz. You want 32oz now?" As she complains to the other barista that she knows I ordered 24oz (um, I'm right here, I can hear you) she pours the 24oz into the 32oz cup, angrily throws the 24oz cup across to the trash, then just adds milk to my 32oz cup. 24oz gets 4 shots, 32oz gets 5, but I guess whiners have to settle for 4 today. She then asks, "do you want to add a tip to that?" Sadly, I'm a yes man, so I replied, "sure, $5 please." No thank you, nothing, just turned her back and walked away. Like I said, there has been a poor attitude 3 of the last 4 trips here. It's not isolated. I think like their barista, I'll be turning my back and walking away too...I'm done with this place.
