     menu for empanadas

A quaint and quiet bakery with tons of delectable treats from cookies, scones, pastries, to empanadas, sanwiches, burgers, salad and even cake! I was debating between 4 and 5 stars, but decided on 5 stars because of the hospitality and friendliness of the staff members. I wanted to show them love, and also keep this homey, lovable cafe around town. Nothing too crazy, but feels right at home!

Chicken Empanadas (SO good!!). Baked not fried!

The best baked empanadas!! The chicken and beef ones are so delicious and loaded with meat! The spinach veggie one was also divine. I buy big batches to keep frozen and pop them them in the air fryer.

Aroma D' Café Bakery is a cozy (read small) Argentinian (Argentine?) bakery on Kinderkamack Rd and I had been eyeing this place for coffee since I was in the area for a short time (I prefer to patronize the small mom & pop coffee shops where I can). I walked in and there was a short line so I had a little time to explore baked goods. I ordered an iced mocha, a beef empanada, and a few extra baked goods to go. I was surprised how inexpensive the baked goods were and I will just say that if I lived in the area I'd be a regular customer.

Great café on a main road. Good coffee, delicious pastries. I love their chocolate chip cookies. However, only when they are freshly made. The croissants and danishes have a sweet but not overpowering glaze on them which makes them unique. They are good and taste fresh. They also sells cakes and pies here. From small personal sizes to medium and large which you need to order in advance. I ordered a large dulce de leche filled cake for Christmas and my family loved it. The small sizes only have dulce de leche in them but the larger sizes have dulce de leche and fruit inside. I prefer just dulce de leche but my family loved it nonetheless. They also sell artisanal frozen yogurt/ice cream which always looks so fresh. It has great flavor. The muffins are pretty big and those are good as well. The empanadas are traditional Argentinian made empanadas. These I did not like as much but I usually return for the chocolate chip cookies or croissants.

Aroma D' has the best pastries and coffee and so reasonably priced. I got their Argentinian cake for my sons birthday and everyone loved it. Even my mom who dislikes cakes said this was delicious. The whole cake got finished since some even went for seconds. I always make multiple stops here when I'm in Jersey. Last time I was there (last week) the young guy working there was very helpful and had a nice chat with me as well. The place itself is on the small side and nothing to write home about but it's still quaint and cute like a mom and pop bakery should be.

The traditional Messi (that's just me being funny) ham and cheese croissant is absolutely to die for. It's as good as a Boca Juniors extra time goal vs RiBer. OK OK I promise that's my last attempt at Argentinian humor. Seriously, this little Mendoza gem in downtown Oradell NEEDS your local support, because I need to be able to come back every year. The line should wrap around the building. The quality of pastries is second to none and the coffee is quality. Oh and let me not forget the best part... the prices!

Love! Got two coffees and was only $5! Outside there is really cute tables. I got almond milk in my coffee and there was no extra charge! The cashier was super judgmental and was staring at me with mean eyes, but the coffee is really good ngl. The prices for everything is really great and there is a great selection of desserts. Great spot for a quick and affordable dessert.

I've had Aroma on my bookmarks for awhile and decided to give them a try. Cute little spot in Oradell with 3 tables. I ordered a ham & cheese croissant warmed up and 4 beef empanadas. This is by far the best ham & cheese croissant sandwich I've ever had! The croissant has a slight sweetness to it and pairs so well with the ham & cheese. Definitely satisfied my craving ::drool:: The beef empanadas though, I did not like. I've had Argentinian empanadas before from different places and I love them. I would go back to try more things.

Amazing little cafe products are always fresh and their prices cannot be beat. Their filled croissants and empanadas are some of my favorites.

Quiches (I cut one in half) and pastries, yum!

What a hidden treasure! We used Door Dash for delivery and got an assortment of things, and the portions were generous and everything was reasonably priced. Their Milanesa sandwich was savory and fresh, as were their empanadas--so perfectly flaky, stuffed and baked, which I love since they're not greasy like other places. Their baked goods and pastries were divine, especially their alfajore--decadent without being overly sweet. I am so glad I found this place! I can't wait to try everything on their menu; would highly recommend :)

    Delicious Argentinian cake

I was so happy to find this bakery nearby. I have tried and loved the traditional Argentinian cake before but those bakeries tend to be far away. I will be visiting this bakery often !!

Tried the matcha latte and really enjoyed it. The matcha flavor was really present and love the creaminess of it which is just how I like it. Took a sip of my parents lavender latte and OMG I am in love!! One of the tastier drinks I've had in a while. Really love the floral taste of the lavender but it wasn't so overwhelming that it felt like I was drinking soap. It was so good Would definitely be back just for the lavender latte... wait scratch that, I DEFINITELY will be back. And this time I don't want to share lol And I'm also excited to try out their other drinks cause they had a lot of unique and interesting offerings. Another great Java, where the chocolate drizzle and foam made it a memorable selection. Besides Liquid Gold, I ordered a slice of their Chocolate Marble Cake and it was....AWESOME! Moist, firm, pleasantly sweet, and was a perfect complement to the Brain Juice. Thank you, Cafe Tesia, for making this stop worth the time. The Dell Coffee Co is located on Oradell's bustling Kinderkamack Road. I've driven by it so many times and finally decided to check it out. There's free street parking and a lot in the back. The atmosphere is charming, cozy, and calming. The owner did a great job with the interior design! Lots of plants, earthy tones, wooden furniture, large windows with natural lighting, pillows, and comfortable sofas. They have wifi and outlets, making it an ideal place to work, study, or read in. Seating is a bit limited - there's a communal table that fits six people, three stools at a counter, and three small sofa chairs. I visited on weekday afternoons and didn't have a problem finding a seat. The drink menu has your classic espresso beverages, tea, and cold brew. They have a food menu with sandwiches, wraps, avocado toast, and acai bowls. They also have fresh pastries to choose from like croissant cubes, scones, banana bread, and muffins. The baristas are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They have a lot of regulars here and you can tell that this is the type of coffee shop that will remember your name and order. I've tried... *Hot Salted Caramel Latte ~$6 - A creamy and comforting drink! The milk to espresso ratio was just right. The espresso was strong and went well with the richness of the caramel. It wasn't too sweet at all - flavors were well balanced and I could taste the hints of sea salt. *Churro Croissant Cube $8.50 - Highly recommend! It's a croissant in the shape of a cube. It's flaky, crispy, and coated with cinnamon and sugar on the outside. The bread was soft, airy, and buttery on the inside. I loved the contrasting textures! *Sugar Cookie Latte ~$7 (vanilla and almond infused espresso with whipped cream and holiday sprinkles on top) - This was more on the sweeter/sugary/milky side, which was fine with me. The cookie flavor was subtle. I would have liked the espresso to be stronger. *Cold Brew $4.50 - Not a fan. The brew was too bitter and tasted watered down. I added milk and sugar, but that didn't help. *Egg Salad Sandwich $10 (tomato, lettuce, egg salad on sourdough bread) - The bread had a crunchy crust with a chewy interior. It had a tangy flavor to it, which I enjoyed. The egg salad was too salty. Overall, the sandwich was decent, but not great. It's small for the price; I don't think I'd pay $10 for it again. Keep supporting your local coffee shops!

At one location I frequented, the coffee had really disappointed me. Once upon a time, their coffee was delicious, with rich, chocolatey notes, but the last few visits left me with bitter, almost burnt-tasting drinks, and no amount of milk could fix it. This was surprising, since they supposedly use LavAzza beans. I also never loved their cakes; I often found them too heavy on icing and light on actual cake. However, on a recent trip while shopping at 99 Ranch Market (which is conveniently right next door), we decided to give Paris Baguette another try and treat ourselves to pastries. I was immediately impressed by their selection and how frequently the display was refilled. Every item was behind a glass case, which felt very clean and hygienic. The cashiers were great at making the hot beverages, and they asked if we had a rewards program with them. We gave them our phone numbers, and it turned out none of us had signed up or that they expired. Here's what we purchased: - Cafe Mocha - 5/5 stars. Perfect balance of espresso and chocolate. The barista even made a heart on top. Although the lid covered it, the gesture was appreciated. - Cold Brew - 5/5 stars. Smooth and refreshing. - Chausson aux Pommes - 4/5 stars. A French apple turnover with a perfectly crisp crust and tender, flavorful apples that weren't mushy. - Croissant Donut - 5/5 stars. Flaky, buttery croissant-like in shape of a donut, filled with custard that was bright due to the citrus, and well-balanced between sweet and savory. - Blueberry & Cream Brioche - 5/5 stars. Their crust was crispy and light. It was an indulgent treat that was well balanced as the custard was rich, soft, and just sweet enough without being heavy. Patrons can help themselves to cream, milk, utensils, and napkins, which is convenient. The seating is roomy and relaxing, perfect for lingering over coffee and pastries. It's located in the Home Depot strip mall. Parking is usually easy on weekdays, but weekends can get a little hectic. Overall, this visit completely changed my opinion of Paris Baguette. The coffee and pastries were impeccable, and the environment made for a pleasant, stress-free experience. Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby.

The lady who assisted me was so sweet, so friendly and it was nice to come all the way from the city and be greeted with such lovely hospitality. She was working by herself and she had a couple of other customers waiting, but made everyone feel like a priority. She was a natural professional lol. The prices were quite pricey, which each donut flavor having its own price, my box of minis with tax and tip were about 40 bucks! Although I can't complain because I got a box free. I also can tell my donuts were freshly made with quality ingredients and the flavors are true to its donuts name. Although my visit was really for the banana foster, my favorite turned out to be the cannoli. They nailed that donut true to its original interpretation of what a cannoli is but made into a donut. My daughters loved the flavors of their selections although the strawberry cheesecake was a bit sweeter than she expected and liked. A bit overwhelming is how she put it. She would have been satisfied with just the mini size. Overall I think the next time I'm in town I may stop by for a half of dozen of minis because of the prices and because some flavors were better than others.
