My love language is discovering local coffee shops to work/study from. I don't buy from Starbucks or Dunkin' (for reasons I won't discuss in this review), especially when there's so many small businesses to choose from and support. The Dell Coffee Co is located on Oradell's bustling Kinderkamack Road. I've driven by it so many times and finally decided to check it out. There's free street parking and a lot in the back. The atmosphere is charming, cozy, and calming. The owner did a great job with the interior design! Lots of plants, earthy tones, wooden furniture, large windows with natural lighting, pillows, and comfortable sofas. They have wifi and outlets, making it an ideal place to work, study, or read in. Seating is a bit limited - there's a communal table that fits six people, three stools at a counter, and three small sofa chairs. I visited on weekday afternoons and didn't have a problem finding a seat. The drink menu has your classic espresso beverages, tea, and cold brew. They have a food menu with sandwiches, wraps, avocado toast, and acai bowls. They also have fresh pastries to choose from like croissant cubes, scones, banana bread, and muffins. The baristas are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They have a lot of regulars here and you can tell that this is the type of coffee shop that will remember your name and order. I've tried... *Hot Salted Caramel Latte ~$6 - A creamy and comforting drink! The milk to espresso ratio was just right. The espresso was strong and went well with the richness of the caramel. It wasn't too sweet at all - flavors were well balanced and I could taste the hints of sea salt. *Churro Croissant Cube $8.50 - Highly recommend! It's a croissant in the shape of a cube. It's flaky, crispy, and coated with cinnamon and sugar on the outside. The bread was soft, airy, and buttery on the inside. I loved the contrasting textures! *Sugar Cookie Latte ~$7 (vanilla and almond infused espresso with whipped cream and holiday sprinkles on top) - This was more on the sweeter/sugary/milky side, which was fine with me. The cookie flavor was subtle. I would have liked the espresso to be stronger. *Cold Brew $4.50 - Not a fan. The brew was too bitter and tasted watered down. I added milk and sugar, but that didn't help. *Egg Salad Sandwich $10 (tomato, lettuce, egg salad on sourdough bread) - The bread had a crunchy crust with a chewy interior. It had a tangy flavor to it, which I enjoyed. The egg salad was too salty. Overall, the sandwich was decent, but not great. It's small for the price; I don't think I'd pay $10 for it again. We stopped here today from out of town looking for some decent coffee and wow we were amazed how awesome this place is. The three beautiful young ladies behind the counter were super friendly and welcoming. Service was fast and accurate. We saw nothing but smiles and great attitudes. The 9nly regret I have is living 700 miles away and b3ing able to go to The Dell CC everyday. The pastries were delicious and the coffee was amazingly delicious. Well done ladies!!! read more

Stopped in to grab a coffee because so many local friends had posted about this place on social media. Maybe their enthusiasm set me up with higher expectations but I wasn't wowed. Cute new café alert! Discovered this café near me and so glad I did as I already know I'll be here a lot. This café offers a lot of delicious drinks and yummy pastries. And the staff are nice and very knowledgeable/helpful. As one of the employees was helping me decide what I should get, they told me the pastry chef that makes all of the pastries is trained in France and comes up with new pastries often- which means there is always something new to try out and more reason to keep coming back!   I got a pumpkin chai (which was so creamy and soothing) and tried out their vanilla square croissant and a slide of their hazelnut pound cake. My fav was the vanilla square croissant- first of all, having the croissant shaped like a cube is so much fun and love that you can get so much filling inside of it. I was sad they didn't have any of their Nutella square croissants left which is apparently their best seller, but that means I will have to come back to try it out.   In addition to the food, I love the nature-y aesthetic of the place. The vibes are so cozy and homey with all of the wood details, plants, and books scattered around. Love this place and has become my go-to morning spot for coffee after dropping my daughter off from daycare. You can find parking either on the street right by the cafe or in the lot in the back. Tons of options for coffee and pastries, though I've only ever had the cold brew. This spot does real quality coffee, you can tell everything is fresh and definitely outdoes the competition in the nearby area. I've never actually stuck around the cafe for more than a few minutes, but I frequently see people here meeting up with others and doing some work, despite the smaller interior. The manager is a real great guy too and actually remembers your order. I also see him very patient with training new staff so again points to the quality of this place. One day I'll have to give one of the pastries a shot and actually sit down for a while! read more

The Dell is such a great café! The food is delicious, with yummy pastries (and yummy coffee apparently, though I haven't tried it). The service is good and the atmosphere is relaxing and great for focus. It's kid friendly, too! I LOVE the Frozen Hot Chocolate (so good)! read more

The Dell Coffee has quickly become my go-to spot whenever I'm in town. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both cozy and modern. The décor is beautiful, the seating is comfortable, and the vibe is perfect--whether you're here to catch up with friends, get some work done, or simply enjoy a quiet moment with your coffee. The coffee here is absolutely excellent--rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. I especially love their lattes, which are perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. And the pastries? Incredible. The chocolate croissant and croissant cube are must-tries, and there are even gluten-free options that taste amazing. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seems to enjoy what they do, which makes the whole experience even better. I've never had trouble finding parking, and it's such a convenient spot in the heart of Oradell. I have been eyeing this cafe since they were under construction, as I had previously gone to the cafe that was open here before this one replaced it. Glad to say, I was not disappointed! The ambience and aesthetic of this coffee shop bring so much peace and calming energy, all while promoting an inviting environment to be productive in, with outlets and WiFi available. I have visited a few times on my to work, and the staff has been friendly and welcoming. So far I've ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and an iced caramel latte with almond milk, both of which have been delicious. Overall very happy to finally have a new coffee shop in the area, can't wait to go back on the weekend to get some studying done! read more

Cute spot, good for doing work, they offer free wifi. Also they serve La Colombe on tap cold brew coffees which was interesting. I'm not the biggest fan of La Colombe so I did not like it that much. It tasted sour and bitter so I asked to add extra oat milk on top... made it taste much better. read more

Amazing addition to Oradell! I recently had the privilege of stopping in after hearing so many people recommend their coffees and pastries, and I was not disappointed! They have a wide variety of pastry options (made fresh daily), and their coffee selection is great. I ordered a shaken espresso with one of their crème brûlée croissant cubes, and it was phenomenal. The ambiance is another factor I loved about this place. The shop offers indoor and outdoor seating, and the interior design is beautiful. I have to say that the baristas who work here are extremely welcoming and provide excellent customer service. I definitely recommend this coffee shop if you are in the area! I walked in and was greeted by the sweetest gentleman, who took my order and crafted one of the best lattes I've ever had.
