This was such an amazing experience! The idea of having to pay someone to wash your hair seems kind of silly, but this is so much more than that! We ordered the platinum service which comes with a facial, we also added the exfoliation. Everything felt clean and inviting. The staff was very friendly and very clear in what they were doing next. I found it really relaxing and my husband fell asleep during his session. I left with my scalp looking and feeling clean, and my hair feels amazing! Usually when I wash my hair, I still have strands falling out the rest of the day. I haven't seen a single hair fall out since I left! Would definitely do this again. My friend and I decided to do a girls relaxing day and this was the perfect place. We got the private room for just the two of us and it was so great! We enjoyed the service we received from both our ladies that did our hair. My favorite part was the facial. I haven't done one in awhile and I forgot how great it was to get a facial done. It was a one stop shop, alittle massage of head, neck and shoulders, full facial mask and hair. It was really easy to book online as well. Super relaxing experience! The staff were all very friendly. We came here for our anniversary and had a great time.

Workers are all very nice and friendly. You start by seeing a close up of your scralp so they can explain what they will be doing and how a healthy scalp should look. When you're done, they show you again. The difference is like night and day. The things they do really clean your scalp and hair follicles. The hour and a half flew by and you're left feeling completely relaxed. It is a bit expensive, but we did it as a birthday present and were very happy with the experience. read more

I had such a pleasant time visiting this head spa in Lake Forest. I know they have other locations, but this one was closest to me. They were kind and explained everything so well they showed me my scalp up close, which had signs of congested pores where I apply too much product close to my roots and explained to me that it's not good in the long run and might cause hair thinning so she scrubbed it all off and gave me the best facial and head and neck and shoulder massage! Jane was very knowledgeable and educated me on the health of my scalp. They start with an Analysis of your scalp so you get to see your hair follicle up close both before and after. The massage portion of the appointment was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep. I did the 90 minute appointment and it was worth every penny, I will be coming back for sure. Services and hospitality is 5star. The ladies there welcome you the minute you walk in. Full disclosure: it is seated in a pretty empty strip mall (prolly busy during regular work hours/days) so if you're expecting a full spa experience (lovely entrance, small fountains, lemon water) this isn't the place. For services - you check-in downstairs (small waiting area) and go up stairs to the single and double rooms. For a double - a curtain separates you so if you're not part of a pair, it's not the best. So book a single room. But I think it's better than the Costa Mesa location where it's all curtains. They ask if you have any issues or reservations and check in with you the entire time. The head massage and the neck massage are great. The eye covers get warm so I had them remove them. If you don't like having your eyes covered, there is a part where they spray water from head to your eyes - it's only a few minutes so try to enjoy it or let them know. My head didn't have too much build up (they do a video scan of your scalp) so the after wasn't too crazy but I've seen some Really impressive before and after pictures. The leg cushion is pretty intense - I'm tall and the thing they put under my legs was massive. Maybe one for shorter people would be good. It actually made my legs a little achy by the end of the hour. Overall the place is clean, the cleansers and lotion are not too extreme (thank you from Someone with sensitive skin!) and I'd prolly go back every few months. Give it a try ... it's relaxing and does leave your hair softer! read more

First time was lively. Second time not so much. Tech kept tugging on my hair while running her fingers through. She kept trying to pull out tangles with her fingers. When I moved my head in discomfort her response was, " You have a sensitive scalp." Yes I sure do when you are pulling my hair. Then they did a combination (in no particular order) of warm tummy and feet compress, head neck and shoulder massage, face cleansing, cooling mask, washing hair, conditioning hair, mist, lavender eye mask, and lastly doing my hair.
