The food was excellent!!! The meal from start to finish was memorable. We started with housemade bread and olive oil. The rosemary garlic focaccia was very memorable. Pasta is made in house. Served al dente. I ordered Gary's pasta which was paccheri, jumbo lump crab, spicy tomato. It was delicious. My husband ordered linguine and clams and added shrimp, he loved it. We also had a special, bisque with crab and lobster. It was excellent. Nothing was fishy. Everything was fresh, with true lumps of crab left intact. Service was friendly and attentive. We sat at the bar as walk-ins- bartender was new to the restaurant but great. Bar seats are really comfy. Bummer that they were out of Vermentino, so had cocktails which were good but pricey. Started with the Siciliana salad and the carpaccio. The latter was overdressed- less dressing would let the tender beef shine more. The pork bauletto portion was huge but delicious and my hubby ate every last bit. My gnocchi were perfect- pillowy, in a yummy bleu cheese and walnut sauce. But $30 for potato flour based pasta feels expensive and is more than other local versions I've had. All this to say- it's good but your wallet will feel it. read more

Met a friend for dinner, no reservation on a Thursday night - the place was packed! We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails and dinner. The drinks are a bit pricey, however, they are inventive and the Sun Drop Sour was absolutely delicious - we had seconds on that one! We were very happy with our choice of the fettuccini Porcini. Mussels (red sauce) in bread bowl were exceptional. The mussels themselves were huge and high quality. Pasta unfortunately was undercooked and tasted raw- inedible; maybe it was just an unlucky cook. Was seated right away by friendly host, and manager said hello on the way in which added to the warm welcome. Server seemed unprepared regarding specials and attentiveness. Food and drinks were delicious and fresh. Our server, John, was attentive and knowledgeable without being in our faces the whole time. The restaurant itself was beautiful and cozy. Was easy to have a conversation without feeling the need to yell over noise. Super excited about the valet as parking in Conshy can get rough especially when there's snow or bad weather. Ame here on Mother's Day based off the hype and IG posts. I have to say our bill was almost $500 and none of us enjoyed our food. The Branzino. Their Lobster ravioli special, their artichoke special, their short ribs and lasagna. The deserts were even worse. We tried the chocolate cake, lemonchello and the tiramisu. LOVE this new addition to conshy! Everything was so good! From the decor to the ambiance to the food! Great menu with lots of familiar Italian options but also lots of new exiting twists! We came here for our Valentine's Day dinner after just randomly looking up places that still had reservations open . I'm so glad we discovered this gem ! They offered a special menu and we tried a few appetizers and entrees . The cocktails were on point , pasta delicious but my favorite was the calamari that you can get breaded or grilled for a healthier option !Our server Trinity was exceptional , super friendly and made the best recommendations . Unfortunately going to be another restaurant in this doomed location that shuts down. Was excited about this addition to Conshy but immediately disappointed after I tried it out. Started off with a high note for the apps, pastas were decent. Dessert was horrible. Ordered the cannoli cake and the first bite I knew it had alcohol on it. It was never mentioned to us upon ordering. I'm pregnant. I took a bite, no big deal, but the way it was handled by the staff was despicable. The waitress laughed it off and did not apologize once. She minimized the severity of the situation by saying that they just spray alcohol on it, it's not an alcoholic dessert. She went on to say that the kitchen doesn't tell staff what ingredients are in the dishes - one time she was serving a soup with pork in it and no one knew! Eating pork goes against certain religions! Imagine severe allergies!!! Not to mention ALCOHOL WHILE PREGNANT??? Or even worse sober!?! A disgrace. Do not recommend. Not to mention, the manager never came over to talk to us or apologize once! read more

The bread was great and the atmosphere. Amazing service as well! I love the variety on the menu. My friends ordered pasta, which is made in house. Those portions looked great. I was however disappointed by the portion for the $40 crab cakes. I was definitely still hungry, and the crab cakes while tasty were very small. Aroma has a lot of potential, and we're so happy it's in the area! My feedback would be to increase portions. People don't mind paying extra dollars IF the portions are appropriate. I really wanted to like this place especially the local buzz it's been getting. The ambiance, service, and drinks were all great. Unfortunately, the food was another story entirely. During our visit, a man stopped at the couple's table next to us claiming he was the chef. That was confusing, because we were under the impression that Joe Cardillo is the chef here. Either way, the interaction was awkward and unprofessional. The couple sent their pasta back and instead of owning the issue, this chef proceeded to blame the owner, the small kitchen, and staff for why the dish was messed up to the couple. If you are the chef, that responsibility falls on you, also, probably not good to say that in front of customers. To make matters worse, my own pasta was undercooked and swimming in oil. Not just a little greasy. There was a literal pool of oil sitting at the bottom of the bowl. We were genuinely excited to try Aroma on Ford, but while the front of house experience was good, the food completely missed the mark. For hearing so many good things, and having had enjoyed several visits to Aroma on 3rd, this was a disappointing experience. read more

My wife and I (who live a few blocks away) are delighted that this delightful, delicious restaurant went into this charming corner location with convenient valet parking offered across the restaurant for anyone driving in. The wine is divine; the pasta dishes are velvety and flavorful with all pasta made in-house. We had dinner with two friends and started by sharing a Gail's Salad with the table; Then we enjoyed lobster ravioli (a special of the day), fettuccine porcini, rigatoni carbonara, and Malfadine bolognese. For dessert, we shared the chocolate-covered strawberries. Our server (Trinity) was amiable and attentive, and we loved our wine: Cantina Valle Tritana Montepulciano. Portions are generous, so we left with to-go boxes and can't wait to return. We recommend the cozy booth as you walk through the front door. We can't wait to return. read more
