We recently made reservations with Savona for Valentine's Day. We had never been before, but they had good reviews, so we figured we'd give them a try. Nestled in between King of Prussia and Villanova, the restaurant is housed in a historic building that adds to the sophisticated atmosphere. The romantic ambience of the night helped make our dinner special. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. The food itself was exceptionally outstanding. For our starters, we had the Whipped Ricotta, and the Calamari Fritti. Both delicious beyond measure. For dinner, we partook in their Valentine's Day Special: Squid Ink Ravioli stuffed with shrimp, crab, scallops, mascarpone, and lemon juice, served with Shrimp Vodka sauce, wood fired Shrimp, and beautiful pan seared scallops. This dish was one of the best entrees we have enjoyed in many years. For dessert, we enjoyed their Blood Orange Crème Brûlée and Caramel Crunch Brownie, both great finishers that went along nicely with our after dinner Espresso and Americano. For our drinks, we enjoyed their Winter Solstice Spritz and Fig Whiskey Sour, both delicious additions to an already amazing dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy a special occasion at a fancy restaurant with a romantic, sophisticated atmosphere.

We had our department holiday luncheon for 15 in the wine cellar. The atmosphere was lovely. Christina Baridis was very helpful in the reservation and planning of our event. Aunya took care of our group in a friendly and professional manner. We started with charcuterie and crudités. We had a specific menu. Each person had the Forge Hill Field Green Salad then the choice of Scottish Salmon, Barolo Braised Local Angus Short Rib, or Pasta Primavera. We finished with dessert of pastry chef's seasonal duo. Everything was delicious. They have complimentary valet parking. Aunya was terrific!!

You know a restaurant is good when it gets through a recession & a pandemic. It's old school and contemporary at the same time. Cocktail menu is limited but what they serve was delicious. Menu is unique and has a nice variety of foods which seem to change seasonally. We loved the artichoke appetizer and the house and arugula salad. The scallops were cooked perfectly and came on a corn succotash. The limoncello panacotta was light, refreshing and decadent all in one bite! Service was attentive but not pushy. Also appreciate that there was no charge to split the entree.

This review should've been made sooner, however, I want to take the time now to thank the entire Savona staff for their hospitality and attention to detail during my engagement last June. I was completely surprised and blown away with the service from the time we arrived to the time we left. We were seated upstairs near their wine wall which was a bit quieter for us to enjoy our meal. We first enjoyed oysters (they were shucked cleaned and extremely fresh. Best around in my opinion), followed by our main entree which was the crab risotto. Hands down the best risotto we both have ever had (my fiancé and I both had gotten the same dish). We finished our evening with champagne and the proposal! I wish I could mention their dessert but we were too excited and occupied with our news and had a surprise engagement party to attend after our meal. We are making Savona our anniversary spot to enjoy and to create new memories. Thank you again!

We had a nice team dinner at Savona on a Tuesday evening. First impressions are 'local gem', beautiful building and nicely appointed inside. Service is professional (maybe a little overly, a smile or sign of personality would have been nice too). You have no choice but to valet your car despite the huge parking lot - ironically, you have to carefully navigate a tight alleyway of junk on your way out. Maybe the valet station is in the wrong place. The downstairs cellar and dungeon bathrooms are unique. Beverage program is well thought through and ties nicely with the menu - which seems Italian-ish + American. They sat our incomplete party (4 of 6), and while drinks were flowing, we were not permitted to order any apps - that 'professional' service sternly informed us that the entire order needed to be entered together. Fine. Eventually everyone sat and the order went in. The food was done very well, and timing was comfortable. For starters, we had the oysters, a pizza, calamari and octopus - all very good. For a main, I had the Berkshire porterhouse chop, which was over cooked, but otherwise well seasoned and delicious. We were not offered a temp option. Deserts were good - I regret not doing a cheese course, maybe next time. We had a round at the bar on the way out - despite constantly being in the way of everyone, it eventually quieted down enough to enjoy some conversation with our party. I would recommend Savona and will go back for sure if in the area.

I've passed this restaurant a million times and always said I would try it. Well today was the day and fortunately I made a reservation because they were hosting a private event in the main section of the restaurant. The customer service was amazing as everyone greeted us with a smile. It wasn't a special occasion however it has been awhile since I've taken my mom out to dinner. The quality of the food was amazing as everything was fresh and delicious.

Savona KOP is a bit outside the main town. Somewhere i drive by all the time getting on I-76. On an impulsive online purchase, i signed up for a $170 rose wine tasting, 6 courses with 6 wines, the wines were all interesting and the sommelier-led discussions lively. We started with Cremant (like champagne but any other grape from France) and moved through fruity, floral, full bodied wine, and ended with a sweet dessert wine. The food paired well to highlight the wine, and the standout was the BBQ quail. The pours were generous and I came back for my car the next day. So I may as well stay for lunch. Eggplant parm was amazing, a whole eggplant crushed, breaded and fried. The center was rich and edges were crispy. The soggy american version is ruined for me forever.

My family and I came here last night to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it was just as fabulous as our last experience! The ambiance is modern and classy. It really is a great spot for a special night out, but they also have great apps/pizzas so you could just come sit at the bar for a more casual vibe. They change there menu seasonally, which means there is always something new to try! The bread for the table is SO GOOD! I love the olive oil they put with it and the texture is perfect. For starters, we shared the shrimp cocktail, calamari, and fried artichokes! All were 5 stars. I actually liked the sauce that came with the artichokes the best and was dipping my calamari in it! For my entree, I had the risotto, which came with jumbo lump crab, and almost a Mexican style spicy salsa. It was delicious! I ate every bit and would definitely order this again. Everyone loved their meals and we shared the caramel crunch brownie. If you are a chocolate/caramel lover, you need to try this dessert! It was so good and the crunchy bits really made it. I look forward to coming back and seeing what they bring for their fall/winter menus!

Went for a Team dinner here. Boy what a beauty! The ambience is absolutely inviting and happy. The food is exceptionally tasty and light. The variety on the menu is amazing. I tried the tofu plate. It was amazing, especially the accompanying sauce. The tofu was soft and succulent and with the accompanying sauce being spicy and tarty, the combination made it delicious. I also had the honey raspberry torte... yummy. Soft and delicious cake. The service was exceptional too. All in all great experoence. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a sophisticated and high end dining experience.

I actually can't believe this place isn't rated 4.7 or higher. Every time it's amazing! Lilly is a fantastic waitress. The blueberry dessert is delicious and so is all the food. Papi is a great manager here and makes sure all the customers are content!

Once inside, the feeling was a lot better. Not much in the way of art work on the walls, but still had a nice warm feeling. There were 3 of us and we did a lot of sharing. The Scallops in Shredded Filo was good but the Crab & Artichoke, with garlic aioli, parsley and capers was definitely "the winner". The Seafood Ceviche with scallops, halibut and shrimp was also delicious. While 2 of us were still enjoying our appetizers, our entrees were brought to the table and our plates moved to make room for them. I made the comment to no one in particular that I would try to eat faster as the seafood ceviche was pushed off to the side of the table. We had a 7 pm reservation and for the most part the restaurant was full by that time but we were not intentionally eating slowly. I could see if we might be taking up too much time eating and they had to move the tables but that was not the case as the restaurant was only half full by the time we left. For an establishment that is charging the prices that it is, Avg $18 for appetizers, high $30s for entrees, no one wants to feel rushed. The Halibut Almondine with Beurre Blank was good but not as good as we had hoped, with it being on the dry-side. The Dorado with Baby Vegetables was delicious as well as beautifully presented with "potato fish scales". A shared warm Pecan Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream completed our meal. Their menu is extensive making it an easy decision to return but I will mention that we would like a more leisurely experience this time around.

It was the second weekend in December and we arrived on a cold night to Eddie V's. With the chill in the air, it was a pleasant surprise to see valet parking available for patrons. We pulled up, the young man was so quick and friendly & we headed inside. We had a 7:30pm reservation and could see the restaurant was packed. Lots of holiday cheer around the bar area for sure. Our coats were checked. We waited quite some time in the corridor, however after about 10 minutes a staff member appeared with a tray offering of champagne, for all who were waiting. This was an exceptional consideration. After about 10 more minutes we were seated. In the back room of the restaurant, back corner, along side their Christmas tree. The ambiance was only made more perfect by the birthday card and confetti they had adorned the table with. We started with cocktails. My signature Sapphire Martini with Blue Cheese Olives. Spot on. Perfect dirty, only a vermouth kiss and big ole hand stuffed olives. My husband ordered an Old Fashioned. It was with a specific rye on menu that was not available at the time. The server had them substitute Whistle Pig 12 (complimentary without upcharge). This again was so considerate. Our server was so attentive, generous, complimentary, careful and helpful. We loved having him. Our Food- The bread was warm, crusty and chewy. Along with the creamy, fatty butter flaked with salt and chives. We ordered our appetizers- Oysters, Calamari and Dumplings We loved having the opportunity to try multiple varieties of oysters. They all tasted clean and distinct. My husband loves horseradish, so it was fantastic to see a side offering of just that, with the cocktail sauce and mignonette. And the lemon was in a bag!!!! The Calamari was a joy. Asian flair, crisp veggies, the calamari sang in texture and light fry. And cashews!! Squid and cashews. Inspiring. We also tried the Wagyu Dumplings. Plump, savory pillows. The beef was tender and flavorful. The wasabi cream gave a zing. Our meal had the best start. For entrees, my husband ordered the Lamb Chops. I ordered the Sea Scallops. Sides we had - the Lobster Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. (We had leftovers, lolol) The plating for this Lamb was so strategic. It sat atop its Chimichurri Butter Sauce just the bottoms dabbling in it. So at your desire- to dip at whatever length the lamb, into the sauce, or eat the lamb alone. This dish was incredible and genius. My Scallops were seared spot on. Golden crust but a mild, clean, sweet inside. Cooked exactly. The pepitas gave a nice crunch and the squash puree gave a seasonal spin. But the scallops stood on their own and it was perfect. The Asparagus had bite, was not woodsy and not over seasoned. Just a well cooked vegetable. The Lobster Mashed Potatoes was butter heaven. Creamy, the huge chunks of lobster were swimming, and no potato peels, so smooth & decadent. We were stuffed so nixed dessert, however- a birthday dessert arrived. What a show! Flambé hooray!!! A firey plate with bananas, a coffee chip ice cream and chocolate cookie cake. We ate it happily, (hating ourselves later, for being so stuffed). This dessert was so sweet in gesture and taste. An ideal ending. This was sincerely the most care we have ever felt dining out. We felt like (and ate like!) a King and Queen. The thoughtfulness that went into our night gave miracle service. Model class, truly magical, and unprecedented. Thank you Eddie V's for a birthday experience so incredible in food, small touches and care that I will treasure and feel special for forever.

Our server, Nadine, was warm, friendly, and attentive. She answered our questions with ease and always had a welcoming smile, and the bussing team kept our water glasses filled without us ever having to ask. We started with the complimentary warm bread and butter, which is always a nice touch. We were also each served a fried oyster called amuse, which was a pleasant surprise. I had the crab cake appetizer, followed by the Big Glory Bay king salmon with a side of crab fried rice with mushrooms. My husband ordered the Wagyu dumplings and the Norwegian salmon. I enjoyed my dishes--everything was well-prepared and flavorful. However, my husband wasn't particularly impressed; he found his dishes to be average and not especially memorable, which made the overall experience feel a bit uneven. While the restaurant delivers on ambiance and solid service, the food didn't quite rise to the level you might expect for the price point. Overall, it feels like an elevated mall restaurant--pleasant, but slightly overpriced for what you get.

Service was attentive although funny in that our server would ask us how our next dish was immediately after it had been placed in front of us and before we had a bite. It happened three times! So maybe not quite as attentive come to think of it. We both ordered from the prix fixe menu (sharing the appetizers) which is a good deal, and I don't remember so many items involving an upcharge so that's new to me. - fried calamari - 4/5, very good, nice aioli dipping sauce, breading was consistent and not too heavy, light tasting and delicious - greek salad - 4/5, I usually love this and it was still delicious and fresh but I noticed that 1) they've changed the name so it's no longer called horiatiki, and 2) we had a very small piece of feta with the salad whereas in the past the ratio of feta to the tomatoes, green peppers, red onions, cucumbers has been more even. And now there's a $6 supplement charge for this appetizer which seems like A LOT for a salad. Next time I might skip this because of the upcharge - lavraki - 5/5, this light white fish is just the right amount of flavor and portion and my go to choice when I go to Estia. Also a $6 upcharge but this seemed more worth it - baklava - 5*/5, also a $2 upcharge but worth it as these four pieces of cylindrical baklava, while a little difficult to eat (use your hand? try to cut a cylinder with a fork?) it is an excellent baklava We went at 5pm before it got too busy and were seated away from the bar so we were able to have a quiet conversation but as the restaurant filled it definitely got noisier and I would not want to be seated near the bar. They do have a lovely outdoor area at the front and side of the restaurant so we could have sat outside since last night was quite mild in weather. One downside of the prix fixe is no zucchini and eggplant chips which are my favorite, and I didn't want to order that on top of the appetizer, entree, and dessert. Next time!

I dined at Estia on Sunday and it was exceptional!…read more Our reservation time was 5:30 PM. We probably didn't need one, but I made one just in case as we're nearing the holidays. I was celebrating my birthday a few days early. There was plenty of parking available. The hosts at the front desk and our waitress/wait staff were all very, very kind. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone here. The interior is decorated beautifully. The restaurant provides complimentary hummus with sliced bread or pita bread. We chose the pita bread. The hummus was delightful. Super creamy and flavorful. I ordered the Dionysius cocktail which was quite refreshing and light. I was in the mood for a carbonated drink and this was perfect. The Estia Chips are a MUST, especially if you're a zucchini and eggplant fan. These little half moons were fried to perfection and come with a side of tzatziki. I was sad when we finished them. Their tuna is cooked rare (it's reflected on the menu as such) but oh so yummy. I was expecting a steak, but instead, squared pieces of tuna wrapped around sautéed spinach were served to me. Highly suggest this! One thing about me is I always leave room for dessert, and I was with my fiancé who loves cheesecake so we asked for that. The pistachio crust was excellent. I had never tasted anything like this before. It was my first time having Greek food, but it definitely won't be my last!
