I had heard about this pizza/Italian spot for a while but never actually knew where it was. During a recent visit to the hospital, I noticed it was close by and decided to finally check it out. I was greeted right away when I walked in, took a look at the menu, and planned on getting a pizza. Then I noticed they had Birria Ravioli on the menu -- that definitely caught my attention, so I had to give it a try. The food was really good. The pizza didn't have a heavy amount of sauce. You could see it if you looked for it -- some people might say it could use more, others might say it was just enough. I personally didn't have any complaints, but I am curious what it would taste like with just a little more sauce, just to compare. The Birria Ravioli was impressive. Really flavorful and something different from the usual Italian menu items -- I'm glad I tried it. read more

This is one of the best Italian grills in the CSRA area.Im very glad that its on the doordash app as its much easier to order food through the app inside of ordering when you get to the restaurant. The pizza and the baked spaghetti were absolutely 100 percent awesome. The flavor was spot on and exactly tasty. I also bought the Spiced Eggnog Cheesecake, Lemoncello,and a Berry Cheesecake.And being a huge foodie and dessert fan, I paid a great bit and it was so worth it. The desserts were excellent and I intend to try the other desserts very soon. This place has one of the best service in the CSRA area personally. Highly recommended. read more

Went here after church wanting some Italian. This was our second choice after another restaurant wanted to make us wait over an hour. We walked into this quaint restaurant. It's a laid back type of restaurant, with tables and bar tables to dine in. Seems like most of their business is takeout. They had an assortment of all the typical Italian dishes, pizzas, and desserts. Food was pretty good, I even liked the meatballs and being Italian I tend to not like meatballs from restaurants. I had the chicken parm, it came Al forno with the cheese melted on the top, which I like also. Wife had the meatballs and spaghetti and she enjoyed hers also. We also got a pepperoni pizza to try, they have the small cup pepperoni which we prefer too. Was quickly served in the aluminum dish/pan they cooked it in. I would give the food here 5 stars but there were a few things that made me rate it 4 . I had been reading/hearing good things about Aroma's for some time so when my daughter wanted to take me to lunch, I proposed we try Aroma's. I rarely go to Italian restaurants because I can prepare a lot of those dishes at home but I like supporting family run restaurants. The building has gone through many transformations. The last time I was there it was a soul food place. The atmosphere is no frills casual and clean. It was toasty in the restaurant and I remember thinking the same when it was a soul food place. The service was fine. You put in your order at the counter but they brought our food to the table. My daughter ordered the lobster ravioli in alfredo topped with prosciutto and I got the baked ziti. Both were served with a side salad and a bread stick. Both dishes were truly delicious. We also got the mozzarella "logs" which had great cheese pull and was served with a yummy marinara sauce. Where Aroma's lost points was in presentation. First there are only bottled drinks. I exclusively drink water with my meals and was given a bottle of "Smart" water for $2. I much prefer fountain drinks and complimentary water. Secondly all the food is served in to go containers which I found off putting. I think I will order to go next time and I would like to try their pizza . So in short the food is outstanding but they come up short on ambience and food presentation. read more

I was in town for a race and needed to carb up the night before my debut, so I figured an Italian restaurant would do just that. Aroma's has a decent parking lot, and I was greeted warmly by the staff when I arrived. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and was given a table number. There were plenty of tables with seats to choose from. The staff brought the food to me, and the dining area was nice and quiet. Everyone kept to themselves. The food was delicious and very filling. I only ate a quarter of it and took the rest home. Awesome place. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area again. read more

I ordered Aroma's Door Dash and I normally don't rate a restaurant unless I go into the restaurant to sit and eat. This was so good, I didn't have to wait to rate! I ordered a Stromboli and a Calzone and both were absolutely delicious! I love that the bread was soft and not chewy. The fillings were not scarce either. It was full of the right amount of cheese and toppings in each bite. It was really good. The portion size was ridiculous. It fed 3 people with some left over. I ordered a Stromboli and got a calzone. While there was plenty of meat/mushrooms inside, I felt it could've used more cheese and sauce. The outside seemed cooked but the inside wasn't super hot. I ended up taking it home and putting it in my air fryer. Be sure to go to their website and not order on this app as Grubhub charges more. I grabbed a menu and saw their REAL prices. They're better. If the right selection of ingredients, the correct portion of herbs and spices, or the wrong cook times, a pizza could easily become run of the mill. Aroma's is truly an exception. A great little spot very close to the hospital in Augusta. We shared a pizza and a Greek salad. Both were fresh and delicious. The crust on the pizza was crisp and the toppings were very good. The restaurant appears to be in an old Huddle House restaurant, but don't let that discourage you; it's very clean inside. Recently got takeout from Aroma's. It was easy to order online. The Stromboli was huge and packed with pepperoni and sausage. I also tried the lobster bisque which was pretty good but probably too cheesy for me. They included what I think was croutons on top so they were soggy so that was a bit odd. So we walked here from the hospital for lunch and I had the birria ravioli with the side salad. It was so good, I think it gas replace the lasagna as my favorite. I dislike the aftertaste of cilantro but it was scarce enough here that I didn't mind at all. My coworker had a chicken Caesar and it looked and smelled so good. Of course the service was great and they had great turnaround times! My department has had them cater twice since my initial visit...we had paid individually and of course the meals all came with sides. They delivered on time, every order complete and correct! By far the best Italian food I've had in a long time! Everything is made fresh, seasoned well, and is good quality. The food is something you would expect from a higher-end restaurant but their prices are great. I can confidently say their bruschetta is the best I've ever had. The Italian rainbow cake was also delicious, very moist and flavorful. I can't speak to if it's "authentic" since I'm not Italian but if you're looking for good Italian food, this is definitely the place to go. The restaurant itself is clean and has a cafe-vibe. My coworkers and I ordered carry out to eat for lunch. Ordering was easy using the toast website. I had prompt service, the restaurant smelled delicious, and I immediately regretted not getting some cheesecake after seeing the display case. I personally had the stuffed shells which were absolutely delicious - 9/10 - just wished the serving was a little bigger for the price and they were stuffed a bit fuller. Side salad was meh, also didn't get my dressing for it nor did my coworker. The garlic bread appetizer with mozzarella was TO DIE FOR, some of the best breadsticks I've ever had. My coworker who got the Stromboli said it was very good and it was huge! Love this place being so close to the hospital, I will definitely be ordering again for lunch. My husband and I tried Aroma's for date night after the dinner time dice landed on Italian. The exterior of the building was cute and the interior was small but clean with an instagram aesthetic. Big neon light pizza slice on the fake grass wall. The menu has a lot of variety without being too large for the small kitchen crew to manage. We wanted to try a variety so got the cherry bomb appetizer, Greek salad, bbq chicken pizza and the Stromboli. The flavor on all of the food was excellent. The dough on both the pizza and Stromboli was crisp and light and delicious the bbq chicken pizza was about as close to perfect as it gets for us. Sweet, tangy balanced flavors with an excellent cheese pull. The Stromboli was huge with big meaty pizza flavor. The salad was fantastic, we both agreed that is flavor packed with tons of veggies and would be hearty and filling enough for a workday lunch. The cherry bomb appetizer was not what we expected (even though it was exactly what the menu described) but we still enjoyed them. I think we both expected something fried, like an Italian style jalapeño popper. Instead they were cold raw peppers stuffed with mozzarella and prosciutto in an olive oil with a balsamic glaze drizzle. For us the star of this appetizer was the oil and balsamic drizzle that got left behind after we finished the peppers. I would pay for a little dish of that to be served with crusty bread for dipping. The service style was fast casual so our interactions with the staff were minimal but everyone was friendly and attentive. Overall we loved everything about this restaurant except the drinks situation. A soda fountain with available refills would make this a five star experience. Currently the bottled single serve beverages just do t meet my thirst needs when I'm having a cheesy, salty hearty meal. The food taste as if it came frozen and put in the oven the morning before opening it's served in a aluminum pan with a plastic top on it. You get plastic silverware one breadstick roll in aluminum foil. All drinks are bottled and served individually. The only drink available for refills is tea water is also sold in bottles the individual who served our table brought the food out in her hands no oven type gloves were used I knew then I was in trouble my wife ordered eggplant parmesan. I ordered chicken masala and my chicken masala was a mistake. I addressed my concerns to the waitress.
