The lack of consistency and fairness is very disappointing. The receptionist I spoke with was unprofessional and unnecessarily harsh. Instead of showing any understanding, she repeated the policy in a condescending tone and made guilt-tripping comments like "these are the stylists' careers" and "you're affecting their income." That is not an acceptable way to speak to customers, especially when emergencies or illnesses happen. A good salon understands that life happens and handles situations with empathy and flexibility. Unfortunately, this business seems more focused on enforcing fees than providing good customer service or retaining loyal clients. I paid $150 for my hairdo and I wanted $115 back because I had to drive from Gallup to Albuquerque and vice versa.
