What can I say? I am a perfectionist. When I say that....I really mean it. Since purchasing a "good bones," but "needs updating" house, I have begun, much to my chagrin, a new side career which I am actually paying MYSELF for, entitled - rooting out bad contractors to get underwhelming work with equally non-impressive customer service, done - LLC. After having multiple experiences already building my book of business in this field, I happened to receive a high recommendation for Arora Remodeling on this involuntary quest. From the start, Rajiv and Aarik were professional, punctual, communicative and most importantly, customer-service oriented. Rajiv, Aarik, and their team, not only put up with my ideas, measurements, levelers and meticulous style, but they went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied. At the end of the project, they even made sure I was completely happy before closing the project. They literally made me feel like despite my perfectionism issues, they would still have me over for Thanksgiving at their house! The results speak for themselves. I feel like I finally found a great contractor that I can use...and one that I can also recommend to others! Whew! I have to shut my new business. Well, now I am off to my next new side hustle, trying to find a reliable and decent mechanic!

I just purchased my house and needed master bedroom bathroom remodeled since it has never been remodeled before. I met Rajiv on site and he carefully explained each project and how much each costs. He gave affordable prices and suggested other options that could be cheaper but also looks nice. They were patient while I was selecting materials and looks and went back and forth with Rajiv and Aarik to help me choose the right material. During the remodeling, they found some issues in my house and they fixed it very well! The bathroom looks really nice and they were very kind and detail-oriented. I really recommend Arora Remodeling!

I had a total kitchen remodeling done. Rajiv & Aarik Arora performed A1 service. The work was done in timely manner. Everything was done and finished on time. I like the men that performed the work to bring my new kitchen to life. I will surely use Arora Remodeling on my next project, thank you!! PS: my new kitchen was finished in time for my birthday. The off white appliances are the before kitchen!

A+ professional job. They installed vanity, medicine cabinet (drywall work), vinyl planks, toilet, wall cabinet and light fixtures.

A+ job. They installed vanity, medicine cabinet of different size (drywall work), vinyl planks, toilet, wall cabinet and light fixtures. The bathroom remodeling job came out exactly as expected. It's nice to be able to ask to change some small details along the way and get professional support to make them happen.

    Before and After Kitchen remodel

When we were looking to remodel our kitchen, we spoke to several Contractors most of which were pushy with sales and didn't listen to our needs. From the first time we engaged with Rajiv at Arora Remodeling, he listened to what we wanted and collaborated right along with us. He never pushed sales or to sign a contract, rather told us to think about everything we discussed and reach out when we were ready. Rajiv's approach of time and patience meant the world to us! Once the work began, we mostly communicated with Aarik who managed the crew and onsite visits. He also listened to our needs and as we changed our mind on design or needed something fixed, his answer was always. 'No problem, we will take care of it'. All along the way, Ruby kept us updated on all things scheduling. The entire process was smooth, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We ended up getting our kitchen and 3 bathrooms remodeled. If you are looking for a team that listens, quality work and budget friendly contact Arora Remodeling. You won't regret it!

I hired Arora Remodeling in August 2017. Our first meeting was with the owner, Rajiv Arora. He is a very pleasant, professional man who is clearly very knowledgeable. He helped us create a 3-D computer model well before work began and was willing to work with us in our budget. He sent out a two-man crew that removed the existing cabinets and even found a place to donate them, rather than send them to the dump (this was important to me personally). The crew was very professional and respectful of my home from the moment they stepped through the door. Cesar is certified in electrical, demo, plumbing, and install. They worked as a team, telling us what we could accomplish, and not hesitating to tell me if something I wanted wasn't doable. I appreciate this honesty, as to me, it shows professionalism and a desire to complete good work, not just a money grab. During the remodel, the hurricane hit Texas and Rajiv was called on by FEMA to help out. He left his son, Aarik in charge of project completion. Both gentlemen were always willing to go above and beyond, assisting me with wall tile choices, paint colors, appropriate cabinets, etc. Within 4 weeks, my kitchen was expanded, up to code, and ready to use. Aarik even left a special gift for my husband and I on the final day! Last week, we actually called them again to assist in installing two new light fixtures in our basement. Aarik showed up on his free time and helped my husband install them. I would definitely hire Arora Remodel again and look forward to what they may have planned for us when we remodel our basement!

When we were looking to have our kitchen and three bathrooms renovated, we were concerned if our vision for our house could become a reality. We invited numerous contractors to our home and after meeting Rajiv at Arora Remodeling, we knew that they were the best company to improve our house. Rajiv listened to what we wanted and collaborated right along with us. We discussed how each room should look and finalized the renovation Once the work began, we mostly communicated with Aarik who managed the crew and onsite visits. He also listened to our needs if we changed our minds on design or needed something fixed. He always put our needs first. The entire process was smooth, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We are glad that we got our kitchen and 3 bathrooms remodeled. If you are looking for a quality contractor, that is still affordable, you won't regret contacting Arora Remodeling!

Update : Just for the sake of getting rid of this project and move on with my other projects, a…read morevery small settlement was paid to me, and we agree to close the contract and release all other legal obligations . An explanation of why I was ignored for so long was not provided , but certainly heard enough of bragging about how those million dollar homeowners love them. One can only wonder what's the hidden message there. Below is my whole project experience. I hired this company because it was recommended to me by someone who had good experience with them. However I was extremely disappointed on the irresponsible actions from the contract workers after the remaining of the work trailed for more than a year. To be fair, the initial part of experience was what you can expect with any standard professional company, the crew was polite and clean after themselves. After sometime, things began to get worse. The corner counter top was cut completely off center, after repeatedly contact and request for correction, a correction was promised , however nothing happened after almost a year after numerous back and force via email, phone calls, etc . Instead of take initiative and fixing the issue, I was given a phone number, and was told to call the counter top company MYSELF and make appointments MYSELF. After many calls with a lady who clearly has communication issues and barely understand what I was saying, a guy from the counter top company came alone , with a pencil and piece of paper board. He had no idea what was the job is for, and cut the board in wrong angle again. I caught the mistake before he left my home and basically hand held him to draw correct lines on the board. I did his work, and he left, and was never heard again. Of course, after this November 2017 incidence, everything fell completely silent again. I was never contacted to have a follow up again, or even a check in "hey, have you got your new counter top yet ? " or " I have things ready for installation ". NOTHING. From November 2017 to JUNE 2018. Ironically, all the way till I left my initial YELP review. During the summer project period, the contract worker left without making the microwave function , one light switch was installed upside down, one was not installed, thought still got charged . It was stated in the contract that the paint was a certain model, however, worker showed up with a much lower grade and claimed it was the right one. Also the contractor left was two jars of the paint which should belong to me. And painted one wall with the wrong color. AFTER ONE YEAR OF THE PROJECT I'M STILL EXPECTING WORK TO BE COMPLETED --- Update - I have to pay another company to come in , and fix all the mistakes. Also the workers parked in the wrong spot while clearly been told not to. and caused $400 towing fee and still have not paid back to me.

All showcase quality IMO. Thus, we've plenty of recent experience with KBS outfit and feel confident in making the highest recommendation. In summary - KBS is not too big nor too small, not too expensive but not cheap, so they were just right for us - average homeowners who seek the very best value. In this regard, KBS was just right. Some highlights........ 1) The crew is experienced and cohesive. They've been together for a good long time. They work well together and we never observed inefficiency. They just work hard all day long. 2) I never had to worry about workers in our home. Honest, polite, professional, kind, and responsive are words I'd use to describe them. 3) Communications were timely and valuable. My advice is to take notes of every communication for reference. In one case we forgot it was our responsibility to acquire an appliance. Uh oh, it was our fault and a written record would have been useful to refer to. Yikes! 4) The budget estimates were honored. there was no bait and switch. Prices were transparent to us. 5) We enjoyed reviewing recommended selections of cabinets, floor, hardware, appliances, sinks etc. Today, we feel somewhat knowledgeable with KBS as our tutors. 6) Cleanup and construction debris was timely. Thanks! 7) The crew was OK with our two dogs. I think our doggies missed them when the jobs were done. Final note: The sign of a great contractor is NOT that nothing goes wrong. Rather it is how the contractor responds when something does go wrong. In this regard, KBS took care of problems I was not even aware of, and when I was, they swarmed to make it right ASAP. For example, a quartz kitchen countertop cracked. Surprised. The piece was faulty. The crack was not due to poor installation. We only had to make one call to Dan who took care of it. Easy peasy. No hassles or haggles about responsibility or cost. Perfect. I've a few more impressive examples. So the more work we observed, the more confident we became in KBS. In my life "trust" is earned and hard to achieve in the contracting world. So, it is with pleasure to say KBS was trusted. We'd hire them again whenever we have a future need. Simply excellent!

This was a big project and from the moment we met with Dan, we knew we wanted to work with him. He helped us redesign our first floor (including kitchen and bathroom), meeting with us multiple times to come up with a design that worked for our needs. He helped us figure out what materials and design elements worked for our home, really going above and beyond to help us make a lot of decisions. His experience meant that he was able to take our vision of what we wanted our home to be and turn it into reality. The actual project itself could not have gone better. The crew was phenomenal. Their attention to detail and quality of work was exquisite. We did not run into a single issue for this entire project and the final result massively exceeded our expectations. AND it finished ahead of schedule! We HIGHLY recommend The Kitchen and Bath Studio. Dan and his crew were wonderful to work with and the quality of their work is exceptional.

Kitchen & Bath Depot just finished a major renovation of our kitchen (new cabinets, countertops,…read morebacksplash, ventilation and appliances). We can't be more thrilled. We had used KBD before on a simpler renovation (new master bath shower) and we were delighted with their work, so didn't hesitate to engage them for this far more elaborate project. Why are these guys such great remodelers? Let me list just a few of the reasons. * Completeness: Except for appliances, KBD displays and sources everything that is required. You aren't sent around to countless vendors to look at their wares and then be the middleman in negotiating appropriateness, availability, prices, etc. * Design assistance: You are offered as much or as little as you need. But be forewarned, Rich and Olga are likely to be much more familiar with design issues than you - so that when they make their suggestions, you will hit yourself on the side of the head and wonder why you didn't think of these issues or ideas yourself. * Craftsmanship: With remodeling, everything doesn't always exactly fit together. Walls are not perfectly plumb, corners not perfectly square, ceiling heights may be wavy and floors are not perfectly flat. Thus, craftsmanship is required to neatly mount cabinets and appliances to that they look seamless. KBD installers (who are direct employees, not subcontractors) all made the extra effort to ensure that everything (even stuff that we would never would have noticed) was done right and looked perfect. Thanks, Tony, Walter, Mark, Raphael and Steve. * Predictability: You are told what work and workers are coming next; everyone arrives on time; and other than for weekends (and two snow days) work is done every day. Our full kitchen remodel was completed in just four weeks - slightly faster than initially estimated. * Neatness: Drop clothes and dust shields were laid/affixed every day. And no day ended without a through clean-up of the job site. * Price: As noted by other commenters, KBD's prices, while not discount rates, are very fair for the extent and quality of work being done - and below some quotes that we received from other remodeling firms. Further, you are not nickel-and-dimed for extra costs from minor changes or challenges. * Peace of mind: Remodeling can be stressful. You worry that things will not be done right, that you are paying too much, or the final product will just not look good. Hire KBD and you can put those worries aside. The job will be done better than you will have imagined, it will look beautiful, and you will be happy to have made the decision to contract with KBD.

When the project start we were really happy about the way it was progress. That all came to a halt when we saw how the crew did the electrical work. When all was said and down the electrical stills needs to be redone to make our wall look more pleasing. It took way to long for the individual to rewire the electrical switches. The plumping was also a nightmare. The sink flood 3 times before a master plumber came in and fixed it. He was able to look under the sink and tell what needed to be done. The sink backing up caused water damage to my basement ceiling. The workers also put paper and blue tape on my wooden floors and when they remover the tape it varnish came off with some of the tape. They tried to fix it but my floor looks terrible. Also the crew did not know how to put the transition on the floor between the living room and kitchen. The way they installed it left it a tripping hazard. The project started on 7 Sept and it was finally completed 7 Dec. With all the problems we had with the crew every time I spoke with the project manager I would hear that is with in code and how we do things. I got very tired of hearing that and asked the project manager for the phone number to his supervisor and was told that he doesn't have a supervisor he was the supervisor. In fact, I was so impressed by their personable, thoughtful and accommodating approach, I had them simultaneously renovate two additional bathrooms in addition to the laundry/utility room and bathroom in the basement. I have had increasing challenges with rheumatoid arthritis and Dave Taghipour, the owner, and Oksana, the designer, listened carefully to my current obstacles in these spaces and worked with me to develop beautiful, accessible, spaces where form follows function. Their showroom has a wide variety of samples, but they are also flexible about incorporating clients' specific choices. Compared to other design/install companies in the area, they are far less costly and finished all 4 spaces within the initial timeframe they had initially quoted and kept me updated throughout the renovation. The Eco workers are very reliable, friendly and respectful of the clients' space and belongings. Not only did they cover and vent all work areas, they cleaned and tidied up every night and Eco had my house professionally cleaned at the end of the work. I could go on and on about how impressed I am with All Eco and their work, but the final pictures say it all. I love showing off my gorgeous bathrooms and laundry room, which, because All Eco put additional effort into listening and understanding my specific needs/challenges given my disabilities, has made daily use of these space worlds easier for me. And seven years later, i still smile whenever i walk into my All Eco renovated kitchen and master bath, both of which have remained easy for me to navigate despite a considerable decline in my physical function thanks to All Eco's compassionate attention to my specific needs during the design and build. But as the saying goes, "happy wife, happy life," or "happy spouse, happy house." After receiving several quotes, we decided to select All Eco Design Center as our contractor due to the customization features we could select, their extensive knowledge of homes in our area, and seeing some of their previous work. We started the process by sending some inspiration pictures to Oksana (designer) and Dave (owner). Our goal for this project was to maintain the structural integrity of the house and update the bathrooms while maintaining the character of the house and incorporating accessibility features without looking too clinical. After a few design sessions, Oksana and Dave captured our design via 3D model, and proposed some recommendations. I appreciated that Dave's company is a full-service operation, with teams specializing in tile, plumbing, electrical, drywall/finishing, etc. Yuri the project manager was also very attentive and thorough. Each employee's craftsmanship showed they were invested in completing the job as if they were doing it for their own home. As no construction project goes without some minor complications, it is noteworthy that this team is accessible and timely to deal with any unexpected events, ensuring the project is completed to the customer's vision.
