Update : Just for the sake of getting rid of this project and move on with my other projects, a very small settlement was paid to me, and we agree to close the contract and release all other legal obligations . An explanation of why I was ignored for so long was not provided , but certainly heard enough of bragging about how those million dollar homeowners love them. One can only wonder what's the hidden message there. Below is my whole project experience. I hired this company because it was recommended to me by someone who had good experience with them. However I was extremely disappointed on the irresponsible actions from the contract workers after the remaining of the work trailed for more than a year. To be fair, the initial part of experience was what you can expect with any standard professional company, the crew was polite and clean after themselves. After sometime, things began to get worse. The corner counter top was cut completely off center, after repeatedly contact and request for correction, a correction was promised , however nothing happened after almost a year after numerous back and force via email, phone calls, etc . Instead of take initiative and fixing the issue, I was given a phone number, and was told to call the counter top company MYSELF and make appointments MYSELF. After many calls with a lady who clearly has communication issues and barely understand what I was saying, a guy from the counter top company came alone , with a pencil and piece of paper board. He had no idea what was the job is for, and cut the board in wrong angle again. I caught the mistake before he left my home and basically hand held him to draw correct lines on the board. I did his work, and he left, and was never heard again. Of course, after this November 2017 incidence, everything fell completely silent again. I was never contacted to have a follow up again, or even a check in "hey, have you got your new counter top yet ? " or " I have things ready for installation ". NOTHING. From November 2017 to JUNE 2018. Ironically, all the way till I left my initial YELP review. During the summer project period, the contract worker left without making the microwave function , one light switch was installed upside down, one was not installed, thought still got charged . It was stated in the contract that the paint was a certain model, however, worker showed up with a much lower grade and claimed it was the right one. Also the contractor left was two jars of the paint which should belong to me. And painted one wall with the wrong color. AFTER ONE YEAR OF THE PROJECT I'M STILL EXPECTING WORK TO BE COMPLETED --- Update - I have to pay another company to come in , and fix all the mistakes. Also the workers parked in the wrong spot while clearly been told not to. and caused $400 towing fee and still have not paid back to me. read more

My bathroom renovation is complete and I love everything about it! Kitchen and Bath Concepts has given me exactly what I asked for. I recommend them wholeheartedly. Let's start with Alireza who came by to measure, listen and design according to what I wanted. He was flexible and open to changes which I requested to the original plan. They offered very competitive pricing and a reasonable time frame for the start of the project and completion - both of which were as promised. Alireza came by frequently to check on the work being done and I was reassured by his precision and attention to details. Then we have Leo who made the choice of every single element manageable. My brain gets overwhelmed with thousands of choices when planning a renovation so I very much appreciated Leo's quick understanding of my style aesthetic and his ability to help me put together cohesive and harmonious colors and looks. By the way, the customer is responsible for purchasing the faucets, shower heads, towel bars, and toilet paper holder. Two teams of workers did everything. Team One was made up of Jesus and Byron who took the project from demolition to completion. Team Two was made up of Celestino and Angel - the tile and grout guys. Both teams were extraordinarily hard working, conscientious and professional. Because of my condo's cut off time for contractors they had to leave at 4:30 or they would have gone on working. They cleaned up after themselves each and every day and did not leave the work area in chaos. I have no complaints; only delight in my new bathroom. Alireza, Leo, Jesus, and the rest of the team at Kitchen and Bath Concepts in Rockville, MD did a phenomenal job remodeling our kitchen and powder room. It was very helpful to work with a team that had an architect and a showroom with access to a variety of flooring and cabinetry for both kitchens and bath. As the architect, Alireza has a critical eye for both practical function and aesthetic beauty. In addition to knocking out a wall and expanding the kitchen, Alireza designed several practical elements into our kitchen, including pull out drawers, hidden outlets, pull out trash/recycle bins, pull out spice rack, and easy access to a pot filler. He made sure there was proper spacing and flow through the kitchen. We were glad to take his advice, as it turned out to be all correct. At the same time, his team patiently worked with us to incorporate our own thoughts in the process as well, such as special ordering cabinetry from Italy, and using that same material for custom built shelving. Jesus and the rest of his team are hardworking, punctual, and skillful. They are quite pleasant and listened to our requests throughout the process. I was impressed with their craftsmanship and efficiency. As they do multiple projects, at times, it can be difficult to get in touch with them. It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Alireza Pour of Kitchen & Bath Concepts. We hired his company for a full remodel of an unsightly 1950's bathroom. Although his price point appeared in line with our two other estimates, his company offered a compelling reason to sign with him: he would measure and order all of the appliances such as the vanity, tile, shower and toilet. At his shop, Mr. Alireza showed me an array of design choices. Although I might have chosen specific models from the variety of catalogs, I described my design style and then Mr. Alireza provided an first-rate bath mockup. He provided this plan without my spending hours in various area showrooms: the other two contractors I contacted required that I order the appliances at a separate bath showrooms. Not only did Mr. Alireza's method save time, it saved me a lot of unnecessary worry about proper ordering, shipment, and delivery. In addition, the workers were courteous, and thoroughly cleaned and removed trash from the work space on a daily basis. Unlike numerous contractors I have encountered, the workers even appeared on time--excellent. The actual work flow occurred within the contract's stated time frame. With regard to the actual work, my husband and I are extremely happy. Not only does the bathroom look beautiful, but it functions much better. In addition, there is a year warranty. If I have any questions or concerns, Mr. Alireza promptly responds. I plan to ask Kitchen and Bath Concepts to remodel another bathroom and will not hesitate to recommend this company. read more

Alireza and KBC did an exceptional job in remodeling a very old, poor quality kitchen at our house. We feel that the new kitchen delivers in terms of design, quality of materials used, and affordability. In terms of customer orientation, I found the KBC team to be open to listening to our needs, careful in making practical and useful suggestions both at the design and onsite stages of work, respectful of budgets (no upselling), and impeccable in the actual work completed. Choosing this company was a total disaster. Mr. Pour promised he was capable of ordering and producing custom cabinets. It took almost 5 months before the vanity was delivered, holding up construction, and then it did not meet the specified measurements. The solution Alireza offered, after admitting he had made a mistake, was to cut off the top of the cabinet. He considered a dishwasher panel door as satisfactory support for a countertop and finally provided something more substantial that was only primed and the paint finish does not match the cabinet. The counter top provided is beautiful but the holes drilled for the faucet and handle are not symmetrical. The pantry cabinets, also custom ordered, appeared with a warped door that won't close properly. It has been months since St. Martin and Mr. Pour promised a replacement door and paint so I could paint the rest of the vanity myself. I would avoid both Kitchen and Bath as well as St. Martin cabinets at all costs. read more

We came by the store on a closed holiday, but we noticed they were inside so went in. They were redesigning their showroom, but were happy to help us in the early part of our decision making. We spent months looking for a kitchen contractor to give our small/medium size kitchen a complete facelift, and dealt with some very frustrating contractors who quoted obscene amount of money and months of work to do what we knew was a pretty straightforward project. Alireza came by to look at our kitchen soon after my initial cal, and we had our contract set in motion within days, with construction starting two weeks later. The construction crew are extremely respectful and careful to ensure that everything is done properly and the house is left clean each day. They completed the bulk of our remodel in two weeks, with only a few hiccups (we expected more, just given the nature of such a project) that they addressed immediately.
