Now it went from $150 for a tuning to $1,950 to remove the action and take it to his shop for repair. I know nothing about pianos. This was my wife's piano. She was a piano teacher for 30 years but she died last December. I was giving the piano to the kids and just wanted to have it tuned. I wish I had checked Yelp before calling Marc. This seems like a pattern. Apparently every piano that he comes across is affected with this "double strike" syndrome. I got scammed out of $1,800 so I just had to let you know before you fall for it too.
