I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Alex Annese and the entire team at Annese DMD. I've…read morebeen a patient of this practice for many years -- first with his father, and now with Dr. Alex -- and I absolutely love seeing the generational transition of care. It says so much about the heart of a practice. A few years ago, I started clear aligner treatment to correct severe crowding, a chipped tooth, and years of difficulty maintaining proper hygiene because of how crowded my teeth were. My case was not simple, my treatment lasted close to four years but Dr. Alex was patient, thorough, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. He explains everything clearly, has an amazing chairside manner, and truly makes you feel comfortable and confident in the plan. The results have completely transformed my smile. I am beyond grateful. The office staff deserves just as much praise. The team is warm, welcoming, and consistent it's always familiar faces, which says a lot about the work environment and culture there. They worked with me financially to make treatment doable. I paid out of pocket, and they offered flexible arrangements that made it realistic without financial stress. Everything was transparent and fair. In all my years here, I can honestly say I've had maybe one minor negative interaction -- and that person didn't even stay long. Overall, this office runs on professionalism, kindness, and integrity. They do see children for general dental care, which I love but I only wish they offered orthodontic clear aligner treatment for kids as well. If they ever do, my teenage daughter will absolutely be there for the same transformation I experienced. That's how much I trust this team. If you're considering clear aligners or any dental work, this is the place.

Claimed she called to reschedule an appointment for myself and my two children but had an old wrong number. I gave her my recent number and rescheduled for myself and my children. Usually when I book an appointment, I received a text or a email reminder right away. She asked if I received it and I said no. I was there for a few more minutes, still nothing. Then she said the system will update it tonight. Which is total BS. So it was rescheduled to today 11/11 at 11. I walked in with my kids and the other receptionist greeted me. I told her I had an appointment at 11 and she said what's the name and I told her our names , then the previous receptionist that I booked my appointment with from Friday said "I called you earlier and left a voicemail to reschedule because we only have one assistant." I told her that this is ridiculous, because this is the second time she asked to reschedule. Then she continued to say she left me a voicemail this morning. I told her that she didn't because I didn't received it and told her to call my number right now. She called the number and my phone DID NOT RING. I heard her said "hello" ? then hung up. Clearly she didn't have my number after I gave it to her on Friday. Not to mention on Friday when I scheduled an appointment for one of my children she told me that they did not have an insurance on file for her and I was puzzled. We have been here multiple times and she told me that my daughter hasn't been seen since 2021 ? Well okay then, are they not billing her for services or are they billing someone else insurance? So today only one of my children got seen because, there's only 1 assistant and they can only take 1 patient at a time. This place was pretty great before they hired new people. Unfortunately I'm taking my services elsewhere.

If I could give the Boschetti Dental office zero stars, I would due to their dishonesty,…read morediscriminatory practices, and inability to stay true to their word. I had a new patient consult with Dr. Sandy Perez on 10/19 regarding tooth pain that I had been experiencing towards the back of my upper left side of my mouth. During my consult, Dr. Perez and his team performed bitewing x-rays, as well as a panoramic x-rays. I was told by Dr. Perez and the hygienist that my oral hygiene was pristine despite not seeing a dentist for a few years due to the pandemic and dealing some medical issues unrelated to my oral health. Dr. Perez did notify me that I had two very small cavities, but that these cavities were very small, and that they would be an easy fix when I came back in again. I have a medical condition that can result in a predisposition to jaw cysts (however no other oral symptoms beyond that and nothing major that has limited me from having dental work in the past at other dental facilities), so as a precaution, Dr. Perez referred me to an oral surgeon and said that he would have me schedule another visit with him for a cleaning and fillings for my cavities once I got the green light from the oral surgeon to resume dental care. I promptly scheduled the consult with the oral surgeon that he referred me to, and in the interim, asked my PCP to order a maxillofacial CT, which was reviewed by my PCP and the radiologist at Tufts Medical and was completely normal with zero evidence of any jaw cysts or other jaw issues that would need to be treated by an oral surgeon. I saw the oral surgeon on 11/4 and the oral surgeon also said that my pain was not caused by a jaw issue, but rather likely due to the cavities and referred me back to Dr. Perez at Boschetti Dental. I quickly reached out to Dr. Perez, stated that the oral surgeon had approved me to have the fillings, and requested scheduling my fillings for my cavities. Now, Dr. Perez is going back on his word regarding filling the cavities, stating that my case is "too medically complex", despite fully knowing my medical history during my initial consult, agreeing that he would fill the cavities when I returned, saying that the cavities would be an "easy fix", knowing that I have had similar dental work done at other community dental offices in the past, and even speaking to the oral surgeon who cleared me to have dental work done. Rather, he would like me to remain in pain while I wait (what would likely be months) for a consult at a dental clinic in a teaching hospital facility, and possibly risk the small cavities becoming a major medical issue. Additionally, Dr. Perez went as far as saying that I was to blame for needing to wait months to be seen at a teaching hospital facility to have my cavities filled since I hadn't had a dental cleaning since right before the pandemic (though he knew that I had other medical issues unrelated to my oral health that took priority and had originally said that I was doing an excellent job caring for my teeth. I would not recommend this dishonest practice even to my worst enemy. Update: I got an appointment at another community dental office today, and not only did they remove the cavities and complete the fillings on the teeth that were in pain, but they also noted that Boschetti Dental did not accurately take the bitewing x-rays since they did not capture both the top and bottom teeth in my mouth on nearly all of the x-rays. As a result, Dr. Perez at Boschetti dental under diagnosed the amount of cavities I actually had. When the dental office where I got a second opinion took x-rays (luckily covered by my insurance since I am covered for 2 sets of bitewing x-rays each year), they found several cavities that were not originally visualized.

I called on December 30th, 2020 to schedule an appointment and the secretary communicated to me that they do accept my health insurance. I arrived on January 4, 2021 for my appointment. After I already received my cleaning, the manager tells me that I have an outstanding balance from 2019 which was never billed to me. Why did they not tell me I have an outstanding balance before I came in for another appointment? She then states that they do not accept my current dental insurance so I would have to pay for my January 4 visit out of pocket although the secretary previously stated on the phone that they do accept it. The manager waives the cost of my visit on January 4 as a courtesy due to the miscommunication. However, she then charges me for the 2019 outstanding balance which was never communicated to me prior to January 4, 2021, never billed to me, and should have been covered under my health insurance considering that the secretary at the time did not raise any concerns otherwise. I have also visited this office prior to 2019, in 2018, with the same health insurance with no issues. I am a college student without a full-time job and found this visit extremely repulsive given their incompetence to provide transparent payment expectations. Page Family Dental does not do diligence in their practices. They are dishonest about their charges. They allow clients to receive treatment under false pretenses that their dental insurance will pay for the cost. They then charge these clients for exorbitant prices in an untimely and unprofessional manner.

I scheduled a basic cleaning appointment, and when I arrived, they did not do the cleaning at all. Instead, they pushed X-rays, gum measurements, and other procedures I never asked for, with no clear explanation and no consent upfront. The communication was horrible. I felt misled, taken advantage of, and completely disrespected. Now they are billing my insurance for a "first visit" and services I did not request, even though I already have a regular dentist on Newbury Street and only came here for a cleaning. After all that, they told me I "needed" a deep cleaning costing $1,400, and refused to perform a regular cleaning, saying it "wouldn't make sense." That is NOT their decision to make, it's the patient's. Customer service was terrible. No one smiled, no one welcomed me, and everything felt rushed and transactional. On top of that, they were not transparent about pricing at all. I was never informed of any costs until after they completed the X-rays. This place seems to take advantage of immigrants and people who don't fully understand how the U.S. dental system works, especially those who don't speak English well. Unfortunately for them, I do understand the system, I am educated, and I am calling my insurance, they will not be covering this visit. Do not go to this place. There are much better, honest dental clinics out there.
