This store is huge. For being an outlet store, I was surprised at how much winter gear they had…read moreduring winter. Part of me was expecting mostly t-shirts. This store is heavy on apparel. The kid's section is larger than I was expecting. There is a smallish shoe selection in the far corner, near the registers. Some prices were great, other not so much. For the most part, the store was well kept. A few areas were hard to navigate with a stroller. There wasn't much in the way of customer service. The only employee I interacted with was the cashier. He was fine. If you are a fan of the Columbia brand, there is a much larger selection here than at any outdoor or department store.

Properly concerned about the age of my children and their ability to paddle a canoe. Joey paddles a kayak by herself during summer camp though, so I explained we were good. The office is downriver. A van shuttles you and your canoe/kayak to a point upriver and helps you get started. Then you paddle (or not, when the river is flowing good, like it was for us) downstream to the office. Fun for the whole family.

We were given a broken paddle, that we did not realize was broken until the drop off location. Per their documentation they will charge you for a broken or missing paddle, so we opted to just take one and gave the other back to the driver as they didn't have an extra to give us. It wasn't so bad until very close to the exit and we did flip, loosing shoes and many other things. Flipping is a known hazard with one or two paddles, but my complaint is the customer service. In the past, there have always been staff ready to pull you in as you approach the exit. Not this time! This time, my son was waiting to pull us in as the staff meandered their way down the hill. One blonde gentlemen was reading something off his phone and literally never put it down until I said "can you put down the phone and help pull us in!" He was rude and told me to go back and get my one paddle out off the canoe ( with his phone still in hand and me carrying bags and without shoes because they washed down the river). One very helpful staff member said he would grab it for me and he did. When I returned to get my deposit back, they didn't offer any type of compensation for the ONE paddle and really didn't seem to care about their staff and the poor service (again, one out of 3 or 4 staff was very helpful and extremely polite). It's not worth the money. Trust me.
