Horrible! AVOID! Office personal were not willing to work with us! We had to get a fence moved that they installed for the previous home owner, that was almost 8ft on the neighbors property. The county was also doing construction on the same property line. Arrow fence charged $900 to remove the fence posts and buried cement holdings, but I got the construction company to do. I had to contact Arrow Fence SEVERAL (way too many!) times, over and over again to hear the sales rep say things "like, oh I forgot", or "manager is out of the office again". Arrow fence would got give a credit or refund! Workers that actually re-installed the fence did a GREAT job, they were efficient, on time and communicated well, almost like they worked for a whole different company! read more

Becky in the office never got tired of my questions and always kept me up-to-date. Both teams that came out to do the work were very detailed and cleaned up after themselves. They were prompt in responding to our request for an estimate. The cost was reasonable. The team that came out to remove the old fence made short work of that. The new fence required digging new post holes. The landscaping along the fence on both sides of the yard suffered some damage. The new fence was installed and the necessary gates were constructed and everything looks good. The supervisor has told us he will send a crew back when the ground has thawed to restore the landscaping for our yard and our neighbors' along the fence line. The estimation process was great! Quote and estimated started time were promptly provided for my mom. However, the work started two months later than initially expected, with no communication about the delay provided. Once the project was started, they left without completing the work. She called into the office to find out when the gates would be installed on the fence, and was told they were now out of the parts necessary to complete the job. She has called every day and is either put on hold for lengthy periods of time or told they will call back, which they do not do. I had a fence installed by Levy Fence instead of Arrow...they were on time, on budget and communicated with me throughout the entirety of the project. I wish my mom would have gone the same route. I paid for my fence the same time as my mom, back in the Spring and have been enjoying my completed fenced in yard for over a month now while she is still waiting. *** UPDATE*** as of 7/29, the work is still not completed. She was told the gates would be installed today. No call/no show from Arrow fence, yet again. ***UPDATE**** Spoke to the owner, Jeff, later in the day on 7/29, was assured that the fence material would be delivered on 8/1 and the install would be completed. On 8/1, workers installed one post and left. No communication on when they would be back. The job is still not finished. Contract was signed 1/10/22...estimated completion May 2022. As an employee with this company for 6 hrs, or less I saw a couple very disturbing practices on the company's behalf. The first thing I noticed was the fact that they had all brand new trucks but wouldn't provide water for the employees EVER according to another co-worker. Not one cooler nor bottled water for the super hot days. But I did notice that they are willing to provide coffee, go figure right???Ok whatever, their choice right? The next disturbing thing that I noticed, the crew that I worked with did nothing but tell racist jokes the entire time. It was sickening to say the least. Now granted, these guys were smart enough to not do it while the homeowner was around at least, showing that they themselves knew how wrong it was. Everyone chimed in on the jokes including the self proclaimed 3rd in command which was a short fat dude missing his front teeth, like he had a right to joke on someone else. then I started thinking to myself, there's only one hispanic guy and other than that all Caucasian. hmmmmm??? (they have around 15 employees, that doesn't include office staff either)Then when it comes time to get paid, they have to have my documents by law to pay me???? WTF??? It was 6 hrs people. if they really wanted to pay me they would have ,PERIOD. I hope they take that 6x15.50=$93.00 and invest in some bottled water for their employees. The Bowser family has been in business in The Fort for decades. I value their honest and reputable approach to serving their customers. Many years ago their Dogwatch techs installed our underground fence. That was a very nice experience and they took the time to assure that we knew how to properly introduce our dog to the fence. Today, I called with questions about how to reconfigure the underground fence. The young lady looked up our records and gave professional advice on a very pleasant manner. I had a DogWatch system installed several years ago at my house in the Chicago Suburbs and it was an awesome experience. Professional, efficient, cost effective, etc. So, when we moved to Valparaiso, Indiana I called the same people to see if they could install a new system for me. They explained that it was not in their territory and referred me to the local franchisee. I contacted them and made an appointment to meet on site. I met with the representative and he provided a quote. There were some challenges to overcome with the property as it is situated on a lake, but he assured me that it would not be a problem and he could handle the job. I even had the contractor/developer on hand to assist in showing him the lay of the land. What followed was an exercise in frustration. The representative was the sole installer when he clearly needed at least a 2nd person to help with such a large job. The contractor cautioned him up front that it was not advisable to use a trenching machine and that much perimeter needed to be hand dug. He ignored that advice and ended up cutting through several sprinkler lines, not only on my property, but also on my neighbors. Much of the perimeter wire was left exposed and haphazardly laid on both my neighbor's property and mine. The "training" of my dog was a joke. It was as if it was his first time and was learning on the job. He shocked the heck out of my dog and it was weeks before we were able to get her to go out of the house on her own. He did make a follow up phone call to see how things were going with my dog but I had such a bad experience with the install and training that I did not want him back out. I paid my landscaper to fix the severed sprinkler lines and bury the exposed wire. I would not recommend this particular DogWatch franchisee. In fact, if asked for a recommendation, I would go out of my way to dissuade anyone form using them. read more

We paid a VERY large amount of money for a vinyl perimeter fence to contain small dogs. Installation began 2 months ago and still is not finished! Plus what has been installed was done improperly and our dogs easily crawl under the fence. Arrow does not respond to phone calls, tries to blame the landscaper and doesn't seem to care at all that the job is unfinished and we are very unhappy. If I could do no stars I would. read more
