This year I desperately needed my two sliding screen doors re-screened and did not want to attempt it myself, so I was happy to find Ace offers this service. It's kind of expensive (about $90 for the two sliding doors) and it took almost four weeks to get them back (the work is done off-site) but they look great. These doors were a mess, with old, sunburned duct tape goo hardened along the bottoms and dirt-clogged wheels. I had patched and taped these poor battered screens for far too long. When I got them back, they looked almost new; completely cleaned, freshly-greased wheels, and taut screens! Great job, people, I'm very pleased.

I made the purchase and drove to the store. On arrival, was informed my order was CANCELED. When I asked the manager why he cancelled my order he stammered on about the store's business model vs. corporate ACE. Apparently I arrived in the middle of some sort of feud between this store and Fratallone Ace, preventing fulfillment of orders promised by their website (?). I generally go to my local ACE for small purchases (screws, tape, spray paint, etc.) and now I remember why.

I brought it back to Settergren they took one look at it and said I need to bring it to an approved EGO repair shop. There was no concern or empathy just an attitude of it's now my problem. I asked if I could return it. He just said, "No there's nothing wrong with the mower it was assembled incorrectly". Now I have a new lawnmower I have to wait 2-3 weeks for it to be. l will let all my friends and neighbors know how poorly I as treated.
