From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Flow, the barista, was absolutely amazing--friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about both the pastries and the coffee. It's always refreshing to meet someone who genuinely enjoys what they do, and it shows in the service. She shared that they roast their beans in house, which explains the rich, fresh flavor in every cup. They also sell the beans on site, and there's even a coffee grinder available for customers, which is a thoughtful touch for anyone passing through town. And the pastries? Yummy and perfect alongside the coffee. If you're traveling through Stevenson or working in the area like we were, this place is definitely worth the stop. The ambiance was also so cool, with the dinning cabins, and the old wood fire roasted coffee roaster on display. Best of all was how friendly the owners were to show us everything and let us watch them make the pizza. Also glad we decided to buy a two pound can of coffee beans. which we just drank this morning. When I arrived, owner Todd took the time to give me a tour of the roaster and the pizza oven despite he and his wife, Mary, being quite busy preparing for the next day's pizza event (unfortunately housework made me miss this one). Their passion for what they do is contagious. The whole setup is impressive, right down to the beautiful A-frame cottages available to eat in if you choose to venture outside of the welcoming main caffe. And the coffee - WOW! So smooth, no bitterness, no burning stomach. This is my new regular brand!!​
