Absolutely the worst bank ever. I financed my 10th vehicle with them and this will absolutely be the last time I do. My loan was funded over 45 days ago. The ACU team dropped the ball at every opportunity. Now, 45 days later and my new vehicle was registered in someone else's name. Now I can't even get a call back from a supervisor to rectify the problem that they solely created. I had been locked out of my account for months and did not receive one email or phone call telling me why. I contacted customer service multiple times and even after verifying my identity, I was told my account was locked, but nobody told me why. Months later after calling customer service regarding another issue, I am told the reason I was locked out was because someone used a third party called BrightMoney to gain access to my checking account w Arrowhead and drain EVERYTHING, and because of this, I owed fees due to the negative balance. I immediately went to this branch and had to ask the catty white girl at the front to escalate the matter. She told me I had to contact BrightMoney directly abt the fraud, and I was still required to pay a fee for the negative balance despite this being their fault. For a month, I emailed back and forth with BrightMoney, getting absolutely nowhere with them, and thankfully some amazing people in Arrowhead customer service over the phone helped. They told me this branch was in the wrong for having me deal directly with another merchant, and that it was a very simple fix on their end that should've been escalated properly and taken off my shoulders. No responsibility was taken for the fact that my account was breached, and I'm not sure if the girl treated me unfairly on purpose bc she was on a power trip or what, but she had a chance to make this right and instead caused a lot of stress for me. read more

This branch has consistent issues. Three family members of mine who have accounts with this branch and use a debit card have had money stolen from their accounts. One on several occasions. One of the three family member has only use their debit card at the branch ATM ONCE or TWICE! NEVER anywhere else and still money was stolen! Not only that, I've literally been in line and have heard a customer walk in and complain about money missing from his account. I didn't get a debit card because of my family's issues but ended up getting their Visa credit card. You have to keep track of your available credit VERY CLOSELY. I screenshot my balance after every transaction and the math adds up every time. Recently I was overcharged interest by a few bucks and went thru my whole account, talked to rep over phone, manager at branch and they try to make you think you're crazy even though you tell them you keep track of everything. The bank manager tells me this card is calculated differently then my other credit cards but he's full of crap because I wait till each transaction is clear and take screenshots. Their banking app will update your availabil credit within minutes after every transaction but your balance owed updates later. When interest is subtracted from your balance the app doesn't even list it as a transaction you have to wait for your statement to see the amount paid in interest. My available credit balance has even "magically" decreased out of nowhere as if double charged for items then hours later, after searching thru my account transactions, the missing money just appears back to my availabil credit balance. Also, my mom ( one of the ones with the stolen money from debit card ) payed a bill by check and noticed money missing from her account after the check cleared. She called the recipient of the check and they verified they received the proper amount after depositing the check BUT somehow the BANK withdrew more money than the check was written for even though the check recipient received the proper amount. My mom had to call and bring it to the bank's attention and they couldn't figure out who or how they processed the check for more money even though the correct amount was received. UPDATE! My credit card issue was solved on my own and I'm surprised neither the phone conversation or two people I talked to in the branch were able to see the simple issue. Just be vigilant with all your accounts as the issues I've stated above still stand and are sketchy. read more

Recently I had a dispute only $65.,,I ordered 2tops from web site that said Made in USA N SHIP FROM USA .. finding out later coming from GREECE 2wks later after closing card n requesting a dispute , that the Greece co going thru Pay pal ., I DID NOT GO THRU PAY PAL ., It says method of payment "credit card" not pay pal ! Arrowhead is saying I have to wait more time since the end of Sept order date to see if items come .. I was promised 4or 5 days .. I needed it by Oct 14 the for Charlie Kirk bday ., All promises were broken !! FRAUD !! For $65 , they are willing to Loose a long standing customer?? This is fraud !! I've never felt so victimized over and over again by a bank who considered me the offender. I found a fraudulent charge on my account and I disputed it and I also let the agent know that I had recently filled out a form from an email asking me my card information. The agent was kind enough to block my card, review my account and change my username just in case. Approximately a week later I get a phone call while my kids were at the park at like 7:44 pm and the number says Arrowhead Credit Union and it's the same number of the bank. The person tells me he's calling on behalf of loss prevention and asked did I make 3 transactions. I told him o it wasn't me and I was at work all day. He then sent me 3 text messages and asked me for the codes just like the customer service reps do when you call in. I didn't read the entire message I just gave the man the codes. He then tells me he sees another email and phone number attached to my account and asked if they were mine and I said no. He then told me he was going to lock the account for 24-48 hours for it to reset. An hour after the call I receive another email from CU saying I requested a change to my best friend's Zelle contact. So the next morning I call and I was informed that the call I previously received was fraudulent. So today after speaking with another customer service representative she told me to go to a branch and I immediately pulled off the freeway and went to the branch. There I met with a nice young lady who then had me speak to a man named Kevin from lost prevention. This man chose to belittle me and told me that this was my second time compromising my account and I would have further restrictions. I told him I did nothing wrong because the person over the phone said they were from loss prevention with the same customer service phone number. He didn't seem to care and again accused me of wrong doing. I also noticed the the lady that was helping me had me sign to change my username of which I never signed before and she held my license while I signed I'm assuming to check to see if it was the same signature of which she could have told me. Now I can. I longer use mobile deposits or atm deposits for which I never did anything wrong to have these restrictions. So once again why would a bank continue to hurt a victim all over again? read more

He went through the loan very thoroughly and was very patient with us even though we had some hiccups on our side and the dealerships side. I asked for my money back and 'Branch Manager' Jason Hernandez chuckled while telling me to call my bank to get the money back. I understand that machines may have glitches but two people ahead of me had their money taken and Mr. Hernandez didn't think it was a good idea to shut down the ATM. I go outside to call my bank and the ATM is still robbing people of their money. Arrowhead isn't like what it used to be. I remember when I first opened an account with them it was great but the people working there now is no help. Do not try to dispute any items because they don't help. And the courtesy paid is a joke. They told me I owe them one amount then transferred me to collections and I didn't even asked to be transferred. I had thousands of dollars in my account and can't even used over $500 daily without getting a fraud alert. I rather Wescom credit union. Arrowhead step up your game or lose your members. read more

This place is an old school bank. Can't even provide their member a pre approval online for a car because the website doesn't work. Sit on the phone for 31 minutes to have someone say we cannot accept a purchase order for the member to do their lease buyout. Don't think about getting any fraudulent charges to your account disputed. I'm convinced this company is lazy and doesn't want to deal with any disputes. They needed more "supported documentation" from me which I provided but stated they needed more. Isn't that their job to investigate the dispute with the other company? Worst experience EVER with becoming a potential member. 1/1/25 i applied for a checking account online when i called in they told me it was denied due to me owing another bank, around that time i had a death in my family so i wasn't able to pay the debt in full anytime soon. Fast forward to 3/14/25 i was able to finally get the debt paid in full thankfully. When I spoke to 3 different agents via chat & phone they said as long as i have the paid in full letter ill be fine to re apply & establish membership. So today on 3/18 i walk into a branch with the paid in full document that was faxed to me from the bank, i sit down and we go over everything & i give them the letter she reviews it with her manager and i can tell he gets annoyed while reading it so i already know they're not going to be helping me to the best of their abilities. My application was denied AGAIN after i provided the paid in full document on top of their snotty attitude!. They denied me & didn't even consider the documents i had they were quick to shut me down with their attitude. When i called BOA & Chexsystem they re-assured me that it was paid in full. After i hung up with Chex/BOA i chatted with arrowhead CU chat system and they said that the document i provided would've been enough to sign up for a checking & savings account. 0/10 experience. I made an appointment to get a checking & savings account with another credit union. Arrowhead credit union representatives , bank tellers & managers are LIARS! i will never open an account with them! Nothing but liars and horrible customer service even when i provided the appropriate documents! read more

Stay Away From Them!!! They DOUBLE-CHARGED my car payment in the same month, they committed to mailing me a reimbursement check which I never received. I called after five weeks and they said "everything is okay just give it one more week", It ended up being a fraud, someone else cashed the check but ARROWHEAD was too lazy to check the status of the check when I called to follow up after 6 weeks. It has been seven weeks and I still have not received my money back because they "have to investigate" after making me fill up a police report and a ridiculous form. Arrowhead use to be so great and it seems they went downhill after 2008. I've had 7 loans with them that were all paid in full and was told that isn't considered when applying for a new personal loan. Trying to pay off credit cards and have one payment and was told I need to pay off my credit cards before I can get a loan with them. The whole point of the loan is to pay off my credit cards. They don't seem to care about the history I have with them. read more

Looks like this company has more than a few bad ratings. I applied for a loan and have been approved but they make it so hard when they want Drivers license, and Power of attorney etc. and I live 100 miles away from the branch because supposedly the mail I had sent them never arrived after 8 days! Granted the staff always seems helpful and happy and sorry but that doesn't finish my loan. I give this place a LOW LOW score. Quit making it impossible for someone with over a 800 score jump through hoops for a lousy loan! read more

Posting here because it's the main office: I just had the worst banking service of my life with this institution. My husband and I are stranded in another state, and because my account is new and the initial direct desposits were from his employer (a common practice), our funds are being held hostage with a time limit until he can be added onto the account and withdraw my money for me. Feelings of being violated, put down, and belittled are not supposed to accompany banking. We were looking forward to using Arrowhead Credit Union for years, but we'll be closing our account as soon as possible. What an awful way to conduct business. Beware taking your business here! I have banked with Arrowhead for 7 years and have had no issues up until yesterday. I applied for a credit card line of credit increase online. I clicked the Submit button. An error popped up: 'Error processing'. I closed the box and clicked the Submit button again. The same error popped up again, so I called them. At first, I was told that I applied twice. I explained that I didn't, then they said that I have too many credit cards. It seemed they were looking for any reason to deny my request. They didn't seem to care about my exceptional credit score, or income (which is easy to prove since it goes into my checking account and CDs), or my assets. I was looking for auto loan rates and found that Arrowhead was the lowest by far. I applied for membership on a Wednesday, was approved by Thursday morning, applied for the auto loan Thursday afternoon and had an approval by Thursday afternoon. Friday morning I went to the branch to sign loan docs with Jazlyn Tafoya (who was very nice btw), picked up my check and then went straight to the dealer where I was buying the car. The process was very fast and easy. I highly recommend this credit union...and thanks for the help Jazlyn! read more

Called to ask a question about Zelle, was on hold for about 15 minutes and had to give all my life information and blood type just to be told it takes 30 days from starting for Zelle to work on the card. Need my address, first and last name, social security number you think they woulda been good with just an account number that no one else is going to have? I had a lease buyout loan from Honda and it was a nightmare (from Hondas end) From the first contact with the branch manager Christian who helped me thru email and then Linda who processed our paperwork in office, they made it incredibly easy despite the fact that Honda financial was making my life miserable. Recently had to purchase a new car for my wife to commute to college. I got a decent rate through arrowhead, was a bit tough to get them paid I was able to pay off close to $35,000 at a low interest. Took me about a year. The employee "Nicole from the collections division" helped me out with making my payments and making sure my money was going where I wanted it to. I can be a bit difficult to work with but she was extremely patient and helpful. 10 stars for Nicole. 4 stars for arrowhead. read more

Because it didn't matter that you were a 2 year member and ran thousands of dollars through their credit union, paying your rent and bills, AND HELPED THEM with your money deposits, but when you needed a loan for an emergency, they said we only check your credit score "just like everywhere else" to get a personal loan. Folks, at Arrowhead, You're no different than a brand new guy off the street even if you been a member for years. Don't waste your time! It's just based on credit score. It doesn't matter folks, if you join them and help THEM, and give them your deposits, it doesn't make any difference in them helping YOU with a loan in the future! They don't care that you've helped them! Might as well go anywhere else like they told me. Do why exactly does anyone join you as a credit union? They only want you to help them by depositing thousands per month, but are "tight" with their money, and don't consider members any different than a guy walking in from the street. read more

Be very careful, they will take all of your info, take your application and RUN YOUR CREDIT. Then proceed to tell you that they do not even give a certain type of loan that I applied for. They were very well aware of the loan type applied before any application was submitted, they should have stopped there and told me that they do not do these loans. Why run my credit for something you cannot fulfill anyway? Is that even legal? Thats BS! Then you will sit on hold for an hour every time you call.
