Arrowhead Exterminating was out at my home yesterday for pest control and did a wonderful job. They were super friendly and did a great job inside and out. I already schedule another treatment for next month. Best of all they are very reasonable with their fees in comparison to what my bff pays for her service with someone else. Absolutely terrible service. Lady who answered my call wrote my address wrong and then blamed me for not being home during the service call. She said she would have management call me, never did. Today I call to confirm the appointment and she hung up on me (presumably by mistake). When I called back she argued with me that she did not hang up with me. Then had the audacity to tell me she worked here for 11 years and gives great customer service. I would run screaming in the other direction rather than employ this company's services. read more

Never use this company!! I had them come out to spray for bedbugs and the guy didn't even spray my box springs the first time and it didn't kill the bedbugs then the second time he didn't spray the mattress cover which you could see the bed bugs on. After the first time I talked to some lady and she told me it could take 12 treatments or more to get rid of them. I didn't want to pay because they didn't do what they should have done and then got a call from some idiot asking me to pay 2 months later. When I told him about his guy all he did was make up excuses about why his guy did a good job and tried to tell me he shouldn't have sprayed the mattress cover which visibly had bed bugs on it when the guy came the second time. This place is junk and so is the customer service. I will never use them again!! read more

Consumers Beware!! Have had the absolute worst experience with this company. Had "No call, no shows" for service. Had one guy that showed up with leaky equipment at my front door asking for electrical tape for his tools. Have even had a bad service experience before this current one, in which the office said " that tech was no good, we let him go". Well, why did you send him in the first place then? ...Yet, I still continued to give them chances even after these items above. The last time they were here, it seemed like no service was even done. Called immediately requesting a respray, which is where the real fun began. Have spent the last 2 months, and 12 phone calls trying to get in touch with the owner. The office manager relayed an incorrect message to the owner about my request for resolution. Of those dozen calls, each time I was told someone would contact me, which they never follow thru on. Spoke to the office again yesterday and was told today I would receive a call, which once again never happened. Instead of following up with the customer with plans for resolution, or explanation for the choice of no resolution they simply opted to (in cowardly fashion) take me off the call list and not tell me. When I followed up this afternoon, the receptionist told me they were not offering resolution because my service is bi-monthly and not monthly. If this were the case, it would have been very simple to say this 2 months ago, or anytime in between. To come up with that at the 11th hour is embarrassing to say the least. Overall, they have zero professional courtesy, horrible service, and use ducking and dodging the customer as normal protocol. To be honest, after 12 calls, the owner is an absolute coward with no business sense. I paid them on average $240 per year, and because it wasn't $480 per year, they would rather receive $0. As a consumer, I expect people to stand behind their service and product, this refusal of doing a respray is a clear indication that they don't stand behind their own product/service. We have used this exterminating company for 12 years now and they have always done a wonderful job!! Our home has always been pest free!! Judy calls every couple months to keep our appointments up to date and we always enjoy hearing from her. The staff is very accommodating and easy to work with. Great job!! read more

I'm still horrified by our experience from this morning. We have used this company before, less than a year ago, and called them back last week to have them come back out because our termites were coming through the living room. The last time the man came to our house, we noticed that his way of dealing with customers was not very good (demanding, borderline pushy, and very rough with our personal property) but we let it slide because the job was done effectively and at a reasonable price. This time, the same technician came out, and the service was markedly worse. He arrived early, which is not necessarily a bad thing except my roommate works nights, and was still asleep in our bedroom. I showed him the spot where the bugs were, and excused myself to wake up my friend. Since I was on my way out the door, I could not stay. I told him twice that I would be right back. As I open the door to tell him to get up, the technician tries to follow me inside. This is Phoenix. It's late summer. It's still very warm. My roommate is mostly nude, and we were both appalled at the lack of privacy and disrespect. I usher him out to give my roommate a chance to cover up, and he takes that opportunity to force our blinds open and try to wrench open our patio door. I have to step in to open it for him, and when I turn around again, his is back in our bedroom AGAIN! He walked in as my roommate is brushing his teeth, and he had rush out of the bathroom as the technician tried to manhandle our clothing rack with our underwear still drying on it to look at the wall. At this point we were embarrassed, angry, and I was officially late. He eventually filled in the holes and cracks, but not before smearing our walls with termite gunk as he dragged his equipment and all the dirt he tracked in across the house. Our walls are dinged and dented, and our carpet was violent ripped up and haphazardly stomped back down. There are many exterminating companies in the valley with similar prices. Your employees are a reflection of your business, and we will absolutely be taking our business elsewhere in the future. read more

I have had Arrowhead over to my house about three times to get rid of a pesky little ant situation. I think finally things might be a little under control even thought I still see some of the ants from time to time.. So why two stars. When the service guy showed up in his truck I could see him smoking in the car. I hate smoking but I have no problem with people smoking in there car. What I do have a problem with is his tossing the cigarette out in front of my house. That is very disrespectful/disgusting and really turned me off. After all I will be the one picking up after him. This just showed me a lack of respect for me the homeowner. Because of this I will not be using their services again. read more

Do not use this company for termite control. While drilling into our garage foundation their tech hit a water line and flooded our bathroom and master closet. Management claimed they weren't responsible but finally agreed to pay the plumber when I stopped the check. Shortly after, all the concrete patches in the garage and on the patio fell out and guess what? A year later we still have termites. read more

We had been using Arrowhead Exterminating for years to spray our house with nothing but good results. We also had a warantee contract that we paid annually for termite insurance. Well as things go, we did have termites come back last year. First Arrowhead scheduled to come out a couple of days later at the end of the day once they were done doing "routine" spaying..... they told us they only had one guy who does the termite treatments, but has to finish regular spraying first. At 5PM he was a no show. We called and re scheduled. This time the guy showed up around 5PM after his "regular" day. It was the end of the day and he appeared tired, short tempered and in a hurry. He wanted only to do a very very small spot treatment to the dirt around a single water pipe. We tried to explain that we have been paying them for a contract for almost 5 years and would like a larger area than a spot treatment in the dirt next to one water pipe. The termite guy became very angry and agitated. He told us in no uncertain terms that he knew what he was doing, then huffed and walked off the job. Told us we could call his boss if we were unhappy with what he planned to do. At this point, based on the workers attitude and lack of concern for our opinion, and watching our house being eaten up with termites, we had no intention to ever deal with Arrowhead Exterminating. Instead of using the warantee that we had been paying for for the past 4 years, we decided to hiring another company. They evaluated what needed to be done and agreed that more that a small spot treatment needed to be done to eliminate the termite infestation. We were charged $600 to do what we had a warrantee contract with Arrowhead to do. It fact, even after the intensive treatment to a large area, the first treatment did not "dent" the termites. It ultimately took 3 visits and drilling into the concrete slab two times, but termites are now gone! It became evident that quickly spraying the ground next to a single water pipe would not have rid us of termites. Arrowhead's owner did listen to our complaint and offered to come out himself... for which we do appreciate. But by then we had lost all confidence in the company based on how little they initially wanted to do to resolve our termite issue and how disrespectfully the Arrowhead Exterminating worker treated us. We should not have to argue to get warrantee work done and never wanted to deal with this company again. We also cancelled our monthly spraying. Our termite warrantee contract ($230/yr) that we paid annually for 4 years with Arrowhead Exterminating went unused. But at least our termites are now gone! read more
