I was expecting to be scheduled a few weeks out, but glad I had the luck of the draw (i guess) lol. Fabulous staff, awesome doctor, Dr Pirnazar did my surgery and throughout, informed what was happening next, and what was to be expected. It made the understanding so easy, and kept me at peace. I'm now a ~week post-op, and very happy with the results. I have slight glare when looking at lights, but that can be expected. I'm following the drops as prescribed, and can notice every day improvement. Instead of showing concern or even speaking with me briefly, the office refused to engage until my insurance card was provided. In that moment, it no longer felt like a relationship with a healthcare provider. It felt like a retail transaction--as if the first priority was whether I could pay, not whether I was okay. This was especially disappointing considering I did have insurance and was fully able to pay out of pocket if needed. The lack of compassion and basic care in a moment of fear was a huge letdown.
