I live in San Diego and was sent to Dr. Blanton on recommendation by Eye Care of San Diego. I spoke with Dr Blanton and his team and we came up with a plan for me to drive up to Rancho Cucamonga for my pre-op measurements and then surgery with just one night in a nearby hotel ($150) before my post-op appointment the next day. The surgery and post-op care cost me about $4100. Dr Blanton and his team were super friendly and professional and I felt well taken care of the whole time. I'm a month into my recovery and other than a little dry eye, my vision is great. Nearly 20/15 in both eyes! I'm now being seen by Dr. Nghi Duong in San Diego for all my post-op care. I'd definitely recommend folks check out this practice if you live in Southern California as even with the hotel, it was one of the more affordable options without sacrificing quality. read more

First of all the staff in this place are fantastic especially Kaitlyn. The doctor is delightful. The only problem I've had with this place is insurance and therefore it's taken a long time for me to get cataract correction surgery, but I'm still working on it and I still have full faith in the organization. My experience with Dr. Blanton and my LASIK surgery was amazing. My initial consultation went very well and was easy. I was more excited than nervous for the procedure, but I was thankful that they gave me medication to relax. The procedure itself was a breeze! It lasted maybe ten minutes and Dr. Blanton explained everything before and as it happened. He made me completely comfortable and feel at ease. I am a VERY anxious person and did not experience any anxious feeling during the procedure. There was not even any pain! The most uncomfortable part when in the beginning when my eyes had pressure put on them to get them ready for the laser. But the pressure was not painful whatsoever! What's so exciting is that I went from 20/80 in my eye with severe astigmatism, to 20/15! I highly recommend Dr. Blanton and his amazing team. I recently had Dr. Blanton as my Lasik eye doctor and so glad I finally bit the bullet! My brother had it done a couple of years ago and well, he has been seeing 20/20 for ever since then! I suffer from chronic dry eyes staring at screens and deciphering prescriptions as a pharmacist all day so it came to no surprise after my consultation that I needed to wait and get another consult. I actually wasn't able to get the surgery done until after 2 consultations (about 1.5 months of using OTC and prescription eye drops). I am very happy that Dr. Blanton is so thorough and careful. He will not let you have surgery if there is even 0.001% of dry patches on your eyes (my silly question to assure myself lol) Not only that, but he has great bedside manners. He's been doing this for a long time and really makes sure that all your questions are answered. He's very easy to talk to and I will be recommending him to all my friends/neighbors/patients. I intentionally waited till I was one-month post-op to write this review. When I tell others about my lasik procedure, I always start with, "I don't know why I waited this long!!" I had been wearing glasses and contacts for about 30 years when I finally decided to have the LASIK surgery. After reading the reviews, I contacted Inland Eye for consultation along with another office. However, after my consultation with Inland Eye, I cancelled my consultation with the other office because I knew I was going to go with Inland Eye. After meeting the receptionist, the other office staff and Dr. Blanton, I was totally sold. I scheduled my LASIK surgery shortly after my initial consultation. Oh BTW - I felt totally comfortable with their COVID protocols. Day of Surgery - The actual surgery literally took no more than 10 minutes. The prep time took a little longer. I think I was at the office for about 3 hrs total. The best part when I was able to go home and sleep the rest for the day...so nice!! Next day: - I went for a follow-up visit and what do you know, I can see 20/20 (my vision is actually a little better than 20/20). ;) 2 Weeks Post-Surgery: Went for another follow-up and my vision is still doing great. No complications at all. 1 Month Post-Surgery - Went for another follow-up visit and my vision is still perfect. If you are considering getting LASIK, look no further than Inland Eye. I got my LASIK done here about a month ago and have been very pleased. The staff and Dr. Blanton are nice and very good at what they do. The instructions for preoperative and postoperative care were easy to follow. The procedure itself was not what I expected; it was not a big deal at all. It was very fast, and I appreciated that the staff counted down the time for each part. My outcome was outstanding; I'm at 20/15 vision and my astigmatism is corrected. Prior to this I could not see anything without my glasses or contacts on. I'm one of the ones that had glare around lights and things were cloudy immediately after surgery. But I could still see perfectly fine during the day and at night. A month out and everything is far better than immediately after the procedure. What is left to heal is not a big deal and I don't notice it most of the time. LASIK was lifechanging for me in many ways and I highly recommend getting it done with Dr. Blanton. read more

Both my husband and myself have gotten our LASIK surgery here and we are both so happy that we choose them! When we first decided to get LASIK we did our research and this was actually the first place we got a quote from. We later went to 3 other places for quotes, Nuvision, Laser eye & another local guy, each had their ups and downs; some prices were higher, some lower but overall Inland Eye made us feel the most comfortable with the newer technology, reasonable prices, friendly staff and just a gut feeling that we knew Inland Eye was the place we could trust as we kept comparing the others to here. We were so right to trust them and regret nothing except not getting it done sooner. My husband had horrible astigmatism and he got his done first about 2 years ago and still no issue 20/20 vision. I CAN SEE! Since elementary school, I have worn glasses and worn contacts once I turned 16. I decided to get Lasik done for the 30th birthday and I am so very freakin happy that I had this procedure done with a skilled, professional, and friendly Doctor! I had lasik eye surgery here about ten years ago now. Since then I've had to get each eye retouched one time within those ten years. The surgery itself went well, the staff was friendly, and my vision became better. With that said I would not recommend this procedure unless it is absolutely necessary. Since my initial procedure I have had extremely dry eyes that sometimes wake me up from my sleep due to all of the pain they cause. I've tried numerous eye drops along with omega-3 that the doctor and other ophthalmologists have recommended, but nothing seems to help. It is said that these complications are rare, but they are more common than you think. From a study done in 2012, "14% of eyes required an enhancement procedure, consistent with other studies that demonstrate an association of dry eyes with regression of refractive effect [32,67]. Moderate persistent dry eye developed postoperatively in 10% of these patients". The numbers may not reflect today's numbers, but just to give you an idea. Make sure to do all of your research before agreeing to go through with this procedure. You only get 2 eyes in a life time. read more

I have been wearing glasses since 2003 and contacts since 2008 up until 03/31/22. I finally faced my fears and agreed to have LASIK done. Why was I so afraid?! I had LASIK eye surgery with Dr. Blanton a week ago. At my one week follow up appointment, I was already able to see with 20/10 vision. That's amazing!!
