I had a consultation early Thursday, was able to get in for pre-op same day, and had surgery the next day! Absolutely unheard of, and if I had to guess, luck of timing! I was expecting to be scheduled a few weeks out, but glad I had the luck of the draw (i guess) lol. Fabulous staff, awesome doctor, Dr Pirnazar did my surgery and throughout, informed what was happening next, and what was to be expected. It made the understanding so easy, and kept me at peace. I'm now a ~week post-op, and very happy with the results. I have slight glare when looking at lights, but that can be expected. I'm following the drops as prescribed, and can notice every day improvement. I'm very happy with my decision, and would recommend it to anyone in fear, and anyone who's even remotely considered it, I held off for too long,. Oh this place. Beware of the billing and medical nightmare you will have with this place. I received bills for which my insurance had processed and sent me EOBs with member rates. The company/billing denied receiving EOBs from my insurance. I explained we paid copays and I am being billed non member rates and that these claims need to go to the secondary payor as well. They didn't have record of my copays, and denied getting EOBs. So, I emailed my EOBs over, my credit card receipts and they said they couldn't open the files (who can't open a PDF). So I sent them again and as screenshots, they denied receiving them. I sent my EOBs to the email they provided me 5 times. They said fax them (who faxes stuff in 2026?), so I went to my local FedEx, faxed them, they denied receiving them. After over a month of this, and even Aetna calling them (with me on the line), they continued to send me bills with non adjusted balances. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Two weeks later I get a call from someone named Melanie. She said she has "found" my EOBs and will work to get these all resolved and submitted claims to the secondary payor. She gave me her number to call her if I had any other issues with getting my refunds. This was back in December. It is now end of February and my primary insurance (Aetna) and my secondary insurance have paid these claims in full. I am owed a refund of my copays that I paid in the office. I called billing, they said they don't process refunds. I called the office, they said contact the business department but they don't have a number to give me, billing will have this. I called billing again, they said we can't give you a number, call the office again. I've left messages, asked for call backs, no one is calling me back. I called the number Melanie gave me and it goes to a visa call center. What in the world is wrong with the place!?? I have gotten no where. The doctor (Eric Areiter) wasn't even that great, my husband saw him a few times with no results, would have his appointment cancelled or passed onto an NP or PA and we have since gone somewhere else and have had his issues resolved. I had my original Lasik procedure on both eyes on 2016, a Lasik enhancement on my left eye in 2017, and a PRK enhancement on my right eye just under a week ago. Although I had to follow-up a few times with staff this go-around, every experience and interaction with NVISION has been grade A. The staff was professional, kind, patient, and understanding to my needs and concerns. And, it was really nice to see that Dr. P and Dr. Jenson are still there! Dr. P performed all three surgeries. I would highly recommend NVISION to all of my family friends, and strangers on the street (or on Google )! These procedures have been life changing! I wore glasses for 21 years and was in the -6.00's. I couldn't wear contacts after my early 20's and so it was a tag team between glasses and prescription sunglasses. I have Keratoconis, and Dr. Pirnazar did the intacts procedure on me. Dr. Tooma assisted. Both great doctors and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They saved me from needing a cornea transplant and my vision improved despite no expectation of that. I am not a candidate for laser eye surgery, so it's glasses for me. I received care from NVision in 2025; I was not fully informed the total cost of my surgery and how I needed to pay. The billing department did not fully explained to me my financial cost at the time of service. In 2026, I received a harassing call from a collection agency telling me that I owe Nvision more than a thousand dollars and needed to pay asap. when I called back NVision to get an explanation, the answer was that I needed to pay the visits co-pay that these costs was aside from the $10,000 I had already paid them, that the cost of the visits were billed separate and I need to pay them now. The billing department failed to contact me directly to explain that there was still a balance due, they instead sent my account to a collectors agency. I called the billing department from Nvision and they told me that they could not help me because my account was already at the collections agency and I never received an apology from the Nvision staff. I am rating NVision 1 out 10 for the lack of professionalism in the handling of my account. These guys will have you book an appointment 1 week in advance have you not wear your contacts for a hole week while you are blind and don't own glasses just for them to rescheduled your appointment 5 min before you get there mean while you already took the day off and left a hour ago. If you have been thinking about doing LASIK surgery and are a good candidate, DO IT!! My eye sight prior to getting Lasik was -9.25 (legally blind), so this procedure was life changing! Doctor's are great. Office experience was okay, but could do a little better with communication. Nvision also offers lifetime touchups. I went here last December for a consult per a recommendation from my eye doctor, got a lot of good info from my friendly and informative patient councilor Elena. Was very interested and put down a deposit but didn't get surgery until yesterday because I had to keep pushing my date back due to work scheduling, I work a lot and night shift. The staff was all very patient with me, especially Elena and Dr. Lee, not pushy and worked with me and answered all my questions through text and call in a timely manner. My surgeon Dr. Khoury was very nice too, answered all my questions and didn't rush me before surgery. Surgery is a gamble though most have amazing results with lasik. However, i was the 3% with other issues (severely dry eyes) which caused me to have blurry vision and left eye flap dislocated. Of course i was insanely anxious going from glasses to everything being blurry but things improved, slowly. The talented optometrists noticed the very minor flap dislocation and Dr Koury fixed it immediately that same day. This didnt fix everything since my eyes werent as healthy as I thought, but they are definitely getting there.... Everyone pitched in and we're definitely memorable in different ways. Every optometrists was incredibly caring plus with the expertise of my talented surgeons, i was in and out withon 3 hours the day of surgery and it was painless. Dr Pirnazar is so talented and the main reason I chose to go to Nvision post consult & scheduled my surgery asap according to Dr. P's schedule (6 days later). The entire staff is very skilled & knowledgeable, especially the office director, Ms. Breanna Marquez. You might not know it but she makes sure no one is forgotten and the one i felt who really heard my concerns & fixed everything. Im still in awe of her patient care & staff management skills. NVision did everything possible to help my eyes heal faster by first putting in 4 tear duct plugs (can be done in seconds in the eye test chair!), fixed my eye flap the same day it was diagnosed, and 3 weeks in my eyes are no longer dry and healthier than before. Dr. Pirnazar & the Nvision staff have gone above and beyond -- Dr. P. suggested that I could wear glasses while my eyes heal before redoing my rt eye (slightly still nearsighted 2 months after my first surgery on 7/21/22) to help me see clearly & I can continue living my life, drive, and go back to work which I was unable to do because of my blurry vision (i was told it was 20/60-70 which makes it illegal to drive). That was this morning and by 2pm, I can see again. If not for Dr P rexommending and covering the cost, I never would've known glasses was even an option. I'll update this review after my rt eye redo surgery 4-5 weeks. I also got contoura monovision so I'm sure that takes some time to adjust. I have high hopes after august, I'll no longer need glasses or any visual aids to see 20/20 or better. So excited. Im especially thankful to the brilliant Dr. J Pirnazar, Dr. B Luu, the newer Dr. Lee (no-nonsense truth which I appreciated very much), and Ms Marquez for taking care of everything including patient care, information, billing, and basically everything. FYI: Im unsure if they use a phone service, but I remember speaking to 2 ladies who were meaner than debt collectors when i called with concerns post surgery. 2nd time was to get more prescription eye drops. This lady said I had to get it at their office which wouldve required I find a driver (legally unable to drive with bad vision) 3+ hrs round trip on a Friday afternoon and i was completely out. After i asked to soeak wirh another, she admitted she'd have a doctor send eye drip prescriptions to the rite aid. OMG wth?!? Right? I put this in because maybe I wouldve called vs avoiding & freakinf out more googling symptoms because the phone operator is a witch Tip: I have drug insurance and I got 2x more drops and paid $15 less. Look at me! Writing a Yelp review with no glasses on! That would have been impossible until last week when I finally bit the bullet and got the LASIK surgery I had been thinking about for years. I'm so glad I did it! The next morning when I removed the protective glasses, my vision was amazing. I had been wearing tri-focal lenses all the time because both my near and distance vision were bad. I finally got tired of feeling like my glasses were always dirty and the pressure marks they left on either side of my nose no matter the style or fitting. It's a wonderful thing to be able to function without having to wear glasses. I wholeheartedly recommend the Ontario location and the surgeon. The screening to see if I was a candidate for surgery even with a significant astigmatism was quick and professional but thorough. The day of surgery the staff was wonderful and supportive and the surgeon met with me beforehand and talked me through the entire procedure as it was taking place. 10 minutes of discomfort, an evening asleep and then the next morning I said goodbye to my glasses! read more

Good place for eye surgery horrible place for any follow up appointments. If you would like to be waiting hours on and consistently than this is your place. My only on-time appointment was my surgery appointment every other appointment, I sat for over an hour. Upon checking in never once had the courtesy of telling me that they are running ridiculously late. They definitely have a scheduling issue with unrealistic time frames for seeing patients upon going. Make sure you bring lunch or snacks plenty of beverages, fully charged phones, etc. For today's appointment I was scheduled at 9:05. I arrived early as they request. I had my cataract surgery performed by N Vision in Ontario, CA. I am the optometrist at Rancho Cucamonga Optometric Center. My right eye's vision was quite compromised by a cataract. I have referred quite a few of my patients for lasik and cataract surgery over the years with great results. I had Johnny Khoury, M.D. perform the surgery and Stevie Olney, O.D. (optometrist)! perform the initial visual examination with their team of most competent techs. At day one, post surgery, I couldn't have had a better result. I wanted to be left a little nearsighted in the right eye ( no surgery necessary for the left eye). so I could see at near while maintaining good distance.. Dr Khoury hit it spot on. I am writing this review with no correction and seeing pretty darn well at far. This has been tremendously positive experience from all the staff to the surgeon. I had the privilege of being referred to Dr. Khoury/Nvision for Cataract surgery.. Dr. Khoury and his entire staff are wonderful. They helped make an otherwise scary experience just a breeze.. Dr. Khoury was amazing..During the surgery I felt zero pain..I had the laser procedure on both eyes. I have a whole new world opening up to me with clear, true bright colors, I am confident driving and the best thing is I can read a book again! I had the refractive lens exchange done with the Odyssey lenses. Dr. Khoury and his entire staff have been amazing through the entire process. I am now 3 months post surgery and it is amazing to be able to see and read without the constant frustration of looking for glasses. I can't remember the last time I was that happy like the day after the surgery. This is the day that Nvision and Dr. Khoury returned my life back. The experience: 1. Day one. I was on the phone with a helpful and very friendly person. After I described the urgency of my situation, she managed to set the initial appointment for the next day. I wish I remember her name to thank her in person. 2. The evaluation day. Went like a breeze. Almost no waiting at all. The equipment used is top notch. The technician made this experience very easy. Then Mr. Steven Lara, the patient counselor, managed to get me a surgery date the same week!!! Unbelievable! Thank you Steve! 3. The surgery day. I have to admit, I was scared big time. Who wouldn't be? The next thing was the surgery. Dr. Khoury safely managed to correct the astigmatism and to replace the lens with ease. Almost the minute I got out of the surgery, I've noticed the difference. Dr. Khoury and his staff was so careful, that I never felt any post-surgical inconveniences such as, dryness, sandiness, not even eye redness. WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! After 30 years, no more glasses...Gone is the day that I reach to adjust them, because I can't see properly (even though I still do it from time to time). Takes some getting used to, not needing glasses anymore... Dr. Khourey (hope I spelled that correctly) is awesome!! Took me step by step, and kept me informed throughout the whole surgery. Nothing was unexpected, he made me feel comfortable and let me know EXACTLY what was going to happen next...(Look at the laser, look at the laser, thank you, look at the laser, look at the laser) Lol! Dr Khourey, I'm seeing a solar system with little white lights!! "Yes, that's normal, we are cutting the flap" Look at the laser, look at the laser, almost done, almost done, you're doing great, almost done. DONE!! Next eye... From laying down in the bed to getting my LASIK finished...took literally 5-10 minutes...TOPS! May have been quicker, but I wasn't really keeping track of time. Went home, ate some food, went to sleep around 10:30am woke up around 6pm, went for a walk with wifey to the Ontario mills mall, and could see PERFECTLY!!
