I have reported this business to the bbb.org for fraudulent practices. My daughters insurance would had paid the 100% for the annual checkup but this office made sure to file the claims under a dentist in there office who was out of network even tho this dentist never saw my daughter and even went has far to over charge her For the filling. Beware, make sure all the dentist are cover under your plan. Now I see why they have a F ratings with the Better business bureau. Remember that scammers also can be someone with a license and an office. Shame on them for taking advantage of a 23 year old. read more

I've been a client here for well over 20 years. The original owners were a married couple and it was a small family run business. They retired and sold the practice and there was a high turn around of employees during this transition, but I decided to stick around give them a chance. Over time, I developed a great and trusting relationship with one hygienist and I always booked my cleanings with the same hygienist and I would do this every 3 months. If the hygienist noticed anything happening with my teeth, we would schedule to correct it and we caught it early. This rarely happened, so I suggested maybe I only need to come in every 4 months, since the visits were rather routine. The hygienist agreed. About a year went by and I was expecting to go my routine cleaning, as scheduled, but when I entered the building, no one was familiar to me. Not the people working behind the counter and not the hygienist who called my name. I was a bit worried that my appointment had changed and no one told me or asked me if it mattered to me. The new hygienist has no idea who I am or my history with the practice. But, I told myself it's just a cleaning, so how important is it who the hygienist is? The new (to me) hygienist is professional and polite, but is recommending an unexpected treatment before they can proceed with my regular cleaning (the reason for my visit.) This recommended work will require two separate future visits to address issues on my right side, and on my left side and on my upper arch and on my lower arch. How is it possible in the four months since my previous visit everything is now wrong on both sides and upper and lower arches of my teeth and gums? She gets the doctor to consult with me because I am in shock. The doctor is neither of the two doctors I met previously and have worked with since the new ownership. Instead, this doctor tells me she has been a doctor there for 4 1/2 years and we have never met before today. Again, she is polite and professional. But where did she come from? Why was my schedule changed? Where are the regular doctors? Where is my regular hygienist? Was my regular hygienist so incompetent that they ignored or did not notice what was happening with my teeth four months earlier on my previous visit? Or was the new hygienist taking a more aggressive treatment approach that my previous hygienist didn't think was even worth mentioning? Here is my point of view - I go to the same place I always go, expecting to see the same person I always see and expecting and hoping for results to be the same. What should have been a routine 30 minute visit with a trusted and familiar provider, instead became a 1 hour and 45 minute discussion explaining how any of this is possible and, no cleaning was ever performed! I took a half day from work to have my teeth cleaned and checked, the same as I have been doing every 4 months for the last year, and every 3 months for the last 10+ years. I got neither my teeth cleaned, nor did I get anything accomplished. It was like I was stuck in an episode of the Twilight Zone. The whole experience was surreal. Then the company texts and emails me after every appointment (for several years since the new ownership) asking me to leave a review for them here on Google. I don't mind that they asked, but asking this often and sending two messages simultaneously (one text and one email) after every single appointment seems a bit.... thirsty? So, I clicked the link they asked me to click to leave the review they keep asking me to write. This doesn't feel like a family practice any more. This experience was much colder and corporate. I found the entire experience unsettling, unpleasant and unlike any of my countless previous visits. As a result of this, I have no idea which hygienist is right, whether or not I actually require a treatment that was never "needed" before, and my confidence with this company is entirely shattered. Sadly, based on the response to this review, it appears we no longer share the same values and it's time to part ways. read more

These people are ignoring all legal requests. They owe me thousands of dollars and will not either fix their botched work. Nor release my money so another doctor can. Best dentist in Arizona. I would say in the west but that's up in Chester Everyone here is so wonderful. Claudia is probably the best dental receptionist on the planet (sorry Staci), Katie is a the best hygienist I've seen in my life, and Dr. Kaur is methodically perfect with her work. I used to hate the dentist. These guys really helped me through a tough time in my life. And now I can smile again! Thanks to some awesome teamwork. Was just notified I have a 800 outstanding bill again no bills sent no communication just asking my family to pay the bill. Telling my family our insurance is out of network since when and how long really why would this not come up sooner and why would nobody say a word. Confused. Horrible..came down to get a teeth cleaning from Flagstaff...my insurance switched...brought my new card...but because the insurance lady was not there...they wanted me to pay up front..lol..I have been going there for years..so..I walked out and now looking for a new dentist.. I called into the office and got connected to an 'Audrey' who was very short and passive aggressive on the phone. Not that there ever really should be a reason why someone would act that way, but I really can't wrap my head around it? I am making this known because I would have been a new patient, along my family of four. But her immediate negative tone was enough to make me call through again and just cancel the appointment. They did "extra" work on my daughters cleaning without telling her that it was not covered by insurance then they bullied her into paying the amount before she left! How does a office schedule you for a cleaning knowing your insurance has already maxed out for the year in December. Then turn around and bill you double what your insurance normally pays and when you call in to find out what went wrong all they can say it's not our fault sorry we'll guess what ever since dr grego left this place is a joke. I would say your not a family dentistry when you can't even understand this is your fault if you would have told us that insurance was maxed and to wait until January to get the cleaning and it would be 100% covered read more

Unfortunately, I have not the best experience with the back end office. The billing department has now began ignoring calls. We were working on resolving a payment issue with my inusurance company, however, they are not complying and sending what is needed to have the claim paid. Of course, it's a blame senerio where they say one thing and my inusurance company says another. I've never had an issue before. But now this is becoming ridiculous! read more

Been going to Arrowhead family dentistry for over 5 years and never had a problem. Great customer service until today 12-10-20. I went in for a normal cleaning and they recommended a scaling (deep cleaning of my teeth). I declined at that time and requested just my normal cleaning. They refused to clean my teeth without the scaling. (Substantially more $$) I had 3 fillings and 2 crowns replaced 2 weeks prior( a couple thousand dollars). So very dissappointing after so many years. Seems Arrowhead family Dentistry is more concerned about making money than their long term relationships and providing what the customer is requesting. read more

Highly surprised and disappointed with the lack of professionalism...I was looking for a new dentist, as I had changed insurance, and I called Arrowhead Family Dentistry, provided all my insurance information and was assured that I was in-network, so I made an appointment. Prior to my appointment , I inquired again to ensure my insurance was in-network, again, being assured that I was. So, I was in for a huge shock when I received a bill for over $300 for a basic cleaning & x-Ray's, being told I was out-of-network. Their billing department told me to call my insurance company to check bc she was busy and didn't have time...shocked that I was doing her job, I called and was told that had the dental office verified my information (as I was told they had done), they would know that I wasn't in-network. I've tried calling the dental office back several times and their billing department refuses to speak with me and was sending me to collections unless payment was made. Very disappointed and disgruntled at the lack of service and professionalism - I felt like I was involved in a scam. Be careful so you're not pulled in and stuck with over a $300 bill too and no resolution. read more

I have been coming to this dentistry office since I was a kid. My entire family as been there as well. I never had a problem until 2 years ago (after the original husband & wife dentists retired) when I had some work done. The work was done very poorly and I've had to return several times for fixes, at my expense. Then that dentist suddenly disappeared, as well as 2 of my favorite hygienists. I kept going out of convenience. I recently needed to reschedule an appointment- I called and left a message. No one called me back- instead someone there randomly picked a date and time and I received a text with this info. I responded when I was done with work saying that time wouldn't work for me and they said they'd get back to me next business day (same day as appt). That morning I got a text from someone threatening to charge me a late fee. I stated that I didn't even make or agree to the appointment and that would be very unprofessional to charge me a late fee. They then said 'no worries we cancelled it for you'. I proceeded to go to a new dentist who is awesome (Dr Weismann) and low and behold today I get a bill for a $50 missed appt fee. I am shocked and appalled at what this office has become. It truly is so sad and I really hope no one supports this now corporate owned business that doesn't care at all about customer service. Go elsewhere- you have plenty of options. read more

Staff is user friendly and the dentist is great. Most dentist try to upsell on additional services. This is the first time I've been to a dentist and he said you could use this procedure but it's not urgent so it's okay to wait. Hygienist was friendly and professional. Front desk staff was accommodating. Definitely recommend this office. read more
