I obviously loved this place they are so kind and helpful people! Me and my husband went for our valentines weekend and they went above and beyond on everything, I highly recommended this place! Thank you guys so much !!

    A view from our patio!

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed in Colorado. The view is amazing, the ambience is really nice, they cook you breakfast in the morning from 8:30 to 9:30. I think we had 4-5 meat options , also vegetarian options if needed. It is a nice place to go relax and get away for the weekend, I enjoy taking edibles for my MS and it helps my muscles relax. I f you enjoy smoking instead you have to go on the patio . This is good because your room doesn't smell like smoke. The patio has two table and plenty of chairs. I also think the have speakers wired from the sitting room so you play music on patios, we did not try it. I think the total guest count for the place is 12, so the place was very quiet and that is what we needed. I'm going to get 2 of my friends with there wife's and we will go back and rent the rooms on the second floor, close to Shorty's room because there are two other rooms on that floor with a large room in the middle to play cards and hangout or enjoy the patio right in front of this room with an awesome view of the mountains. The place was clean, very clean everywhere, the rooms were warm and you could open up also to see a view of the mountains. The better view was from the patio but it was nice to have the light shine in or you could make the room really dark also. I will be looking at their pricing for a wedding just for the fact that my hope is my daughter can only invite 8 people to the wedding. Small wedding are good right? I do not know if that is true if you book a wedding but I'm going to check. There are some great options for food in Conifer and a small strip mall about a mile west of the hotel, food was good Brooks Place Tavern, look for my review to come , very good . We will be back, thank you. Hank

Do not stay here. I am ambulatory disabled, like millions of other people. The private rooms w outdoor hot tubs have stairs to use the toilets, no hand railings. The woman who hesitated to identify herself as the actual owner told us multiple stories about these missing hand railings: they ordered them but haven't installed, they just repainted and haven't put them back, and then she offered to hand ROPES for me to hang onto and a WHEELCHAIR for the STAIRS!!!!. I have terminal breast cancer, we wanted a nice valentine's and we live close by. We imagined lots of future evenings of staying here last minute. We immediately knew that wasn't happening. Even though we paid the full amount for 2 nights, we left. It wasn't safe. Before we even got home, she charged us an exorbitant cancelation fee. The next day I called, hoping to appeal to her humanity and get the cancelationfee and 1 night refunded. Curing cancer is more feasible. She then told me that she's disabled and she doesn't have trouble w the stairs so what's my problem, and then she told me she ALSO has terminal cancer. She threatened me not to tell ANYONE, especially her son. I don't know her son or anyone else she is related to. I do hope she was lying about her cancer too, because I can personally tell you no one deserves it. But she is a scammer. Read her 80 pages of gibberish TOS she has copy and pasted from all over the web. She told me that as a disabled person, I should know better than to stay at a bnb, and only stay at big hotels. Actual good advice, stay anywhere but here.

Absolutely loved our stay! We stayed in the master suite and it was beautiful. Surround sound throughout the entire suite, jacuzzi tub and walkout onto balcony with stunning views.

Torn curtains. All doors, even customer rooms have alarms. Hopefully not to monitor guests?

Frustrating, offensive and not kid friendly. The staff that assists is outstanding, nice, caring and helpful. However, the management is awful and lacks any customer service. We booked the Master Suite for 2 nights for our wedding (different business/location) and family booked another 2 bed room for themselves and our kids. When we were discussing amongst the family the best choice for the children, management called our in room phone to tell us they would charge us extra to put bedding on the second bed that was in the room. We thought this nickel-and-dime scheme was ridiculous, but put the kids on the pull out couch, "for free" and let it go. Later that night, we received another call to "inform" us about breakfast. We were told our children would not be allowed to arrive at breakfast until the end, to "hide" our children from the other guests. During this call, the owners Marguerite & James Herb, said we were just trying to find complaints and issues. We asked if they would like to speak in person and was informed they were not on site. Which is ironic, as staff the next day confirmed the owners live on site. We then asked to end the call, as it was going on for nearly an out. However, it turned out both owners were on the line, which I found out when I was transferred to James, whom said his {wife} was being polite. I finally decided we would eat in our room, to avoid any further arguing and potential issues in the morning. I stated fruit for the kids would be fine, and Marguerite responded "are you sure you want all the sugar for your kids on your special day?" Why would any business owner attempt to tell a customer how to raise their kids, or have the practitioner to tell them they can only be around if they hide their kids from the other guests? Furthermore, I also requested when we booked, nearly a year prior, to have a Romance Package for our wedding night. As expected with the lacking customer service, they "forgot" to make up our room for our wedding night. When I called the next day to inform about the mishap, on our once and a lifetime day, I received a "sincere apology", which included a refund of the romance package and a credit on our bill totaling not even 1% of our total bill. The owners truly caused unneeded stress, by being unwelcoming to our children, as well as trying to advise us on how to raise them, and couldn't even make a special night happen. As for the B&B, the outside is beautiful, although parking isn't the greatest. There are no controls for air conditioning or heat and some areas are lacking general maintenance. If you have children, I would not recommend this place unless you desire parenting advice or like to hide your kids from the other guests, or for a romantic getaway, unless you want to do all the decorating yourself.

    Evergreen suite

Some people are just rude, we read all the negative reviews and we a little hesitant but it was exactly what we where looking for so we took a chance! We were not disappointed, this place is fabulous inside and out! The smooth jazz music that filled out room when we got there is a fantastic touch!! We enjoyed the hot tub, and desks and views! Bed slept great too! Our only negative, is we couldn't find coffee for our second morning there!

I was a bit hesitant after reading the online reviews, but was pleasantly surprised with our overnight stay. We booked one of their premier suites, Red Rocks Suite. Situated on the 4th floor, across the hall from the Origin suite. It was clean and very spacious. I wish we could've stayed for multiple nights but unsurprisingly, this room was booked, probably for other concert goers. The only slight peeve were the barn doors for the bathroom; I understand that it is a design element that some hotels adopt, but they're not very functional and diminish privacy. Anyways, service was great. At check-in, they offered and brought up extra linens to do up the couch. They're managed by Wyndham so they do a lot of their communication through their app, even when we booked through a 3rd party.

The TLDR: Extremely Disappointing Stay - Not Family-Friendly, Poor Service, and Zero Accountability…read more We were excited to stay at the Origin Hotel Red Rocks due to its proximity to the venue, but unfortunately, the experience was not worth it at all. We traveled as a group of three adults and one four-year-old, and I would highly recommend staying somewhere else--especially if you're traveling with children. Night 1 We arrived and checked in, expecting a tent and sleeping bag in our room for our 4-year-old, as advertised and included in our pre-paid package for all three nights. It was a big reason we chose this hotel. Nothing was in the room, so we called the front desk. The staff seemed confused and said they'd look into it. Eventually, someone brought up a sleeping bag--but it was dirty--and said they had no idea where the tents were. We were told to call the next morning. On top of that, the Wi-Fi wasn't working. Turns out, the TV relies on the Wi-Fi--so that didn't work either. They said they were "working on fixing it." Day/Night 2 We spent the day out and returned in the evening to find our room had not been serviced. We called the front desk and asked for housekeeping--no one ever came. When we asked again about the tent situation, we were told they gave them to a "larger family" who needed two. So once again, our 4-year-old was left disappointed. Still no Wi-Fi, no TV, and when we tried to use the in-room coffee maker--it was broken, too. Day/Night 3 We called the front desk at 9:15 a.m. to request housekeeping again, especially because our son had gotten sick and thrown up. We used towels to clean up and specifically asked for replacements, along with service for the room. We were gone from around 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., taking a day trip to Colorado Springs. When we got back? Still no service. At this point, we had made a bet that the room wouldn't be touched--and sadly, we were right. So here we are on the third and final night: * No tent * No clean towels * No working coffee maker * No Wi-Fi * No TV * No housekeeping, despite multiple direct requests My husband went down to the front desk and spoke with a staff member named Gil, who promised someone would bring towels within 30 minutes and that we should connect with Amy in the morning. They showed up 30 minutes later with towels and still none of the other issues resolved. Day 4: We woke up and went to connect with Amy and now the front desk says she won't be in until checkout and they can't do anything for us. Sooooo basically I paid for amenities I never received . This stay was unacceptable. We were charged for amenities we never received, had repeated service failures, and no accountability from the staff. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

I am a little delayed by a few months in posting this review. Nothing stands out as particularly over the top at this Fairfield Inn compared to any other on the planet. With that, the exceptions to my statement are the low dresser type piece of furniture below the TV that made it incredibly easy to open up luggage and work out of suitcases versus putting stuff in drawers (which I prefer). Additionally, the moderately interesting pull down shade with a mural of trees and leaves versus a solid panel (way to make something that is uninteresting more intentionally eye catching). The view out my hotel window was the hauntingly quiet and vast lands of the Federal Center buildings which seem desolate and unoccupied. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable though, so all good. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and welcomed here from the parking lot to my door latching and closing upon going to retire for the night. Breakfast was standard and moderately uninteresting, but on course for what you would expect at a Fairfield and coffee is hot. When in doubt, there is a Starbucks within maybe a 5 minute walk, in addition to a Mad Greens for the health conscious eater like myself. Not a bunch to walk around and see and having a car seems imperative at this Fairfield Inn. I did use the gym a few times, which was set up with towels and water for my refillable container (the water I expect, the towels I do not). I would say the gym is a bit larger than one would expect for this class of hotel. Plenty of mirrors and plenty of sunlight make the space feel large. So although only giving out a 3 star, it is a positive 3 star at that.

Was told the hotel was sold out, and the top floor was blocked for a football team. No problem -- we dropped bags, left for a Nuggets game. Came back around 10:30 PM. I asked the front desk (Sue, night auditor) if we could get our Bonvoy welcome waters/snacks. I know the third-party rule, but most hotels hook up loyal members out of courtesy. Sue? Zero hospitality. She cut me off with: "You booked through Expedia. You don't get that." Straight attitude. Then I get to my room and the TV doesn't work. I call down. Ask for help -- batteries, another remote, anything. Her repeated line: "I'm not maintenance. I'm just the night auditor." Then she offers to move me -- which made no sense. I was told a few hours earlier the hotel was full. Now she has a room at 11 PM? I declined. I was unpacked and ready for the next day. Eventually, after more runaround and her interrupting me nonstop, she hits me with: "Is there anything else I can help you with?" I told her -- honestly and yes, with frustration: "I want a f***ing TV that works." And that's when it spiraled. She told me she was calling the cops. Then called my room again: "Pack your stuff. The police are coming to remove you." Cops show up, I explain the whole thing. They nod, apologize, and leave. No report, no drama -- just a total waste of their time. Next morning? Hair in the shower track. Showed it to Michael at checkout. He apologized, said he'd escalate it. Still no follow-up. We booked on the Marriott app ahead of time and let them know what we'd be arriving late -- after 10pm -- and that wasn't a problem. I've been staying at Marriott hotels for a long time and the whole mobile key thing is hit or miss. These days, the keys work 95%+ of the time, but I still have to visit the front desk to check in and have them send the key to my app. (When this tech was touted, one of the benefits was that you would never have to talk to a person: when your room is ready, they shoot the key to your app, it is billed to the card on file and your invoice is sent via email. I have rarely had that experience at any hotel, so I am not dinging them for that, just venting a bit here :) I find it odd that they charge for parking now. This hotel is not in any really convenient location: you can walk to a few restaurants or, I think, a liquor store by crossing a crazy merge-two-lanes-into-one-while-going-around-a-bend-uphill street, but there's not much else around except a Residence Inn. As of July 2025, it is $8 per night to park. On this short visit, we didn't avail ourselves of any of the amenities. Our check in experience was fast (even if we did have to visit the desk), the elevator worked (and there are two of them) and the room was clean, cool and quiet (at least from 10pm to around 8am while we were there). I was able to check out via the app and have the invoice sent via email, so that part worked great.

Breakfast is included and while it isn't *amazing,* the coffee is hot and you can make your own waffles -- all without leaving the hotel. The AC and heater work and have not been noisy during any of our trips. Mobile check-in and mobile keys mean that you don't have to talk to anyone on the way in (which is probably a plus for the staff since we're usually arriving pretty late and straight from a 12-14 hour drive). An interesting touch is that there is a QR code in the room that you can use to tip the staff. That way, you're not having to carry cash for tips or head to the front desk to break larger bills. There is a desk with a comfortable chair where I can work if I am doing that on a particular visit. There are a pair of elevators that are a little slow and can get congested when the hotel is full and it is peak checkout or breakfast time, but I think there are only 4 floors, so if you're in a hurry, taking the stairs is not a big problem when you're just popping down for food or otherwise not carrying luggage. As for the location, it is adjacent to the Colorado Mills mall and has pretty easy access to the highway. I think the parking is still free, though I have had my son drop me off the last couple of visits, so I am not 100% certain. If you're a Marriott loyalty member, you can get the "enhanced" (faster?) internet for free. That works well, but the "regular" free internet also works fine for us, especially if I am not having to take video calls for work.
