After telling them what type of jewelry we were searching for, they pointed us in the right direction with their displays. They frequently checked in, even helping me determine sizing for my helix ring. We left with 5 pieces of jewelry and it all fit great. She's very knowledgeable of piercings, aftercare, and the anatomy of your desired place to be pierced. My friend got a double Tragus piercing that caused her to bleed, which drained in her ear and Courtney was so quick to assist in the clean up and ensure the blood was removed from the inner ear so hearing was restored without the feeling of having a clogged ear. I'm not good at art so I was trying to get artistic input, I wanted something specific, I had pictures and wanted help making changes to personalize it, but every question I had about placement or size, was answered with a question. At a certain point, it wasn't helpful. I spent about six hours at the shop over a three inch basic simple tattoo. I even left for an hour after we talked and agreed, thinking he was going to be set up and ready when I got back, but I spent most of the time sitting around the shop. It was literally a three inch all day event. I've never had a bad tattoo experience but next time an artist makes me feel indecisive and stressed or can't give me artistic input, it's time to walk out and go somewhere else. Visited Valhalla Tattoo for a consultation on getting similar tattoos (not matching) for my wife…read moreand son. This was our son's first tattoo. The owner Pagan, met with us after he finished up his last appointment of the day. He was great! He was patient and real with us about style placement and took the time to give his full attention. He made us feel comfortable and excited about our endeavor. After about 5 minutes we decided we wanted him to do the work. After trying to figure out the best time for us to come back, he said "let's just do it now ", and so we did! Now keep in mind they were about to close for the day, and he didn't rush us or make us feel like we were imposing. This was a great experience for us. He was very personable and it was the most fun we've ever had a tattoo shop. My son was a little nervous about it because it was his first time, but Pagan made him feel at ease and even was cutting up with him, and now I think our son is hooked after his experience. Pagan and I discussed other tattoos for myself in the near future, so we will definitely be back. It's people like him that make these types of experiences enjoyable and something to look forward to.
