We visited with our two littles recently, for our first time. The place is very large and mostly clean. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and happy to help. This is a very religious establishment and they have religious music playing and some religious things on display. We paid for a weekend experience for two kiddos, which was more expensive than weekly play (which was anticipated). One adult was "free" because we have a little under 3 yrs. We opted for the all-day pass for $4 more each, under the impression we could leave and have dinner, then return. Then, we were asked if we wanted the Arrow's Active socks and we said "no" because we brought our own non grip socks. We were told Arrow's active socks are mandatory for all guests accessing the play area, and no outside socks were allowed. So we reluctantly agreed and purchased 3 for $3 each because we had no other choice. Also, since my husband was a spectator, he was an additional $5. After being charged, while our bands were being put on, we were told the all day pass is only good while in the establishment and if we leave for any period of time, our bands will be removed and we cannot return (unless it was extremely brief). I told the lady I would have liked to know that before because it's very very misleading. I've never bought an "all-day" pass where I was not allowed to come and go as I pleased and I would have liked to make a decision based on their rules, rather than what was advertised. I did not look at their food items nor cafe menu because we ate shortly before going, but the fountain drinks were from an Austin supplier who makes their soda with real ingredients, which I appreciate and love. My husband wanted to work while we played, but there were no outlets around the main seating area. There were staff spot cleaning inside the play area during play time. I'm not sure if they clean periodically throughout the day or if they clean x number of hours before close every day once a day. There was a bucket of solution a staff member was using to clean within the play area, which I can foresee being a problem if it spills for some reason, but she did hide it under an area near where she was cleaning, so she was being safe about it. Knowing they do clean is extremely comforting and very much appreciated. There are some very hard to reach places that were extremely dusty, but they weren't in reach, just in view. Restrooms were nice and clean. Overall kiddos had a lot of fun. Just be prepared to pay the up charge for the weekend (if visiting on a weekend), an up charge for mandatory socks ($3 each), an up charge for any spectators with you ($5 each), an up charge for all day play ($4 each pass) and remember you cannot leave and return on the same ticket purchase. read more

Just a 30 minute drive from San Antonio proper... a time was HAD! Came to the city for a spring break vacation from Cali, saw this gem on TikTok. I loved how it had a cute and spacious area for toddlers. I went to ARs entertainment the day prior and would say that the area is comparable but with much less traffic. All members must purchase the company specific socks and you must sign waivers. They do sell food and drinks inside so you cannot bring your own, and unlike ARs there didn't seem to be any alcohol sold. My family of 4 plus a 11 month old went after lunch on a random Thursday and the place was pretty dead and perfect for exploration. The adults were free with the children , and the age considered a child is 12 or under. They also offered a military discount. The apparatus itself was cleans and massive ; it had high ceilings so that adults don't have to hunch over when accompanying their children. The jungle gym has so much variety ; the blue corkscrew slide is fast and my second favorite is the conveyor belt. Our kids are obsessed. I actually went through it with my littlest while my older and her cousins ran around and it is SO fun inside with many different interactive things to do. This is also great Space for your kids to run wild and get some solo time to yourself, they have plugs, tables, and even a cafe! Highly recommend. I really like that adults are free. The vanilla iced latte is so darn good! I recommend bringing a light sweater as it can very cold inside. The space surrounding the playpen and inside is kept clean and tidy. My child always has a blast here and there always seems to have mix of children genders and ages, as well as respectful children that are not roughhousing. The bathrooms are clean as well, and I like the extra floor upstairs for when it gets packed and you can get a bird's eye view of it and even have more peace when it's not busy. It has it's own parking lot so not much walking to do which is great for TX heat. All in all, I trust Arrowheads places safety above all else and would recommend for air conditioned fun! read more

What a great place for the kids to go and play! I was able to climb all over the play place with my grandchildren. There were a LOT of kids there! The structure is three stories tall with a lot of twists, turns, obstacles, climbing, slides, etc. the kids had fun! The on site cafe had good coffee and snacks, the young man working behind the counter was very polite and efficient. Some friends of ours were moving and we decided to have a play date at someplace their kids loved. This is our first time going and while we did have a lot of fun and will definitely be back... I do think the price is offputting. I would come here much more regularly at a lower price point, instead of the occasional day. Also, I understand that there's no outside and food and drink allowed, but I think exception should be made for special needs or very small kiddos, who will not eat the expensive options offered. Kiddo Approved! Came to visit Boerne this weekend just to have some time out of San Antonio before the kids spring break ended. My kids had a blast. Just a little tip if you've never been here before, fill out the waiver online prior to coming just to alleviate waiting. We came around 2 and it was a bit busy already so its best to come prepared. Staff: Have welcoming smiles. Friendly and informative. Atmosphere: pretty busy, facility is clean and neat. There are tables and seating around the play area. Cost: about $38 for four people with a military discount. They offer military and first responder discounts at the register. Must purchase grip socks to prevent slipping and injuries, and maintain cleanliness. You can buy them once at the register and you can wear the same ones each time you come. They have a little cafe with snacks, pastries and drinks, alcoholic beverages like wine and beer for the adults and parents. They also have free wifi here if you need to get some work done and watch your kids play. They also take reservations for events and birthday parties. Love this place. It's been a hot minute since we've been since we're in Helotes, but each time we've gone my little one has had a blast. One time, before he could talk I lost sight of him and panicked. He was too big to be contained in the littles area and not quite old enough to do the big kid area alone. I stuck with him but lost sight of him among the chaos. The employees sprang into action to help me. They were so kind and non judgmental. Thankfully their patrons are great too because another mom overheard and said "I saw him! Over here." We went here for the first time today with my kids. The check in process was nice and they give you a wristband with your name on it and I felt much better knowing that the doors were locked and no kid could get out without a parent. Not all play places are like that. The toddler area did have a lot of older kids going in it, but that was not their fault. The employees were cleaning constantly and the place was extremely clean in general. There were a lot of tables which was extremely nice but a lot of them were taken up by people just leaving their stuff on them. Which again, definitely not their fault. We tried out the café and the kids tray was a cool idea. I do wish there were more traditional options like grilled cheese or PB&J, but it was pretty good. I did try the chicken salad and was disappointed in that. The menu said that it was in Romaine boats, but all that means is chicken salad sitting on one piece of lettuce. I would have been fine if there were a few pieces but I felt saying plural and having one was a little misleading. Very small issue though and the chicken salad at South was delicious. I just wish there would have been more green to go with it. Really thought that is a super small issue and the kids had a blast and did not want to leave. The Food prices make me resent this place. Everything is expensive and most of it is just dressed up crap without nutritional value. Chips & juice & sweets but positioned as upscale options. It's already $32 for 2 kids to get in which would be fine but if you spend enough time to make it worth it, your kids are clamoring for the snacks on display. They put the crap food in eye line and arms reach of toddlers & it's hard to get kids to change their food choices once made at this age. Entering, way too small if an area for what all you have to go thru each visit. They need more space or divide those that haven't filled out a waiver. It gets to where you're stuck standing outside in hot or cold waiting. Food. You cannot order pizza on your own here. It's for parties only(weird). The food they do have otherwise isn't great. Great place as an indoor activity for kids to get away from the cold, heat, or rain and run themselves tired! I do recommend it and your kids will for sure be smiling the whole time. This is now our third time going and since it's happened three times I have to bring attention to the check-in process. Even doing my homework of purchasing tickets online, already having the appropriate Arrow socks, and filling out the waiver online it still takes us 15-20 minutes to get in. So even though I selected the time-slot from 10-12:30, we lost almost 20 minutes just waiting to get checked in and receive our wrist bands. I prepared ahead so I wouldn't have to do all this in person and try to keep small kids patient when the fun is there right in front of them. One person at the counter to check all those people in just doesn't seem to make sense to me. Maybe having an additional person at the counter to check in the prepared people to keep the line smoother and faster? This is a very popular place as it SHOULD be because it really is a wonderful, fun concept. But if it's going to keep gaining popularity I would definitely hope for a better check-in process. read more

We will definitely be coming back! Spent two hours here with my 18 month old and he had a blast. He enjoyed the toddler area and then explored the big kid area safely with mom not far behind. The play area has three levels and includes an air blast gun room where you can shoot balls around the room. We didn't take advantage of the cafe onsite but it looked great.
