When he came into the house for the estimate and again when I asked him to go upstairs to look at a wall I needed painted, he noticed that my shoes were off, and he took off his shoes without being asked. I have never met another contractor that does this, and it is definitely appreciated. It shows that the attitude is 100% customer-first, not just about getting the job done asap and getting out. 2. When I asked him to paint a few extra small spots in the house he agreed to it without increasing his price. The quote James gave me was already on the cheaper side compared to a few other contractors I had contacted, but it was again very much appreciated that he saw an opportunity to help and not an opportunity to make more money. 3. I had based the color of the paint that my walls needed on the other walls in the house - turns out my walls are not entirely uniform. After buying 2 gallons of paint that didn't match the walls I needed painted (one from HD, one from Dunn-Edwards), James said that he would take care of it and I came back to my walls looking perfect, even though he didn't have the exact paint color. I have no idea what kind of Harry Potter magical crap he pulled but he got the job done when I certainly would not have been able to. Thanks James!
