First time here and had a wonderful time! The staff is so nice and helpful, so many options to pick from and a huge glaze selection to paint. I can't wait to pick up my items this Saturday!

Stopped in yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday and ended up having a great time! When you walk in you are greeted by the owner who is friendly and pleasant and explains the process to you. Basically, just pick out any ceramic you'd like to paint, find a table, pick out your paint colors, grab some paint brushes and get creative! All the Ceramics are priced on the shelves so you know what you're getting into before you get started. Once you finish painting your masterpiece. Go to the counter pay for your purchase and return one week later to pick up the item. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a relaxing creative way to spend some time.

Art Fuzd is a great place for a either a cold weekend or celebration with friends or just an activity to do. It is also kids friendly place. This place has an option to pick a piece of pottery, start coloring and designing per your choice, let it dry and give it for glazing and pick it a week later or actually create your own potter on the wheel. To create your own pottery, you have to call ahead of time and reserve the wheel. We didn't actually experience the wheel this time but the other one was a pleasant experience. I will be returning to this place for sure to experience the actual pottery making.

My kids and I love Art Fuzd. This is a great place for a b-day party, a therapeutic painting session, or just for fun. Both adults and kids can enjoy. Prices are great, owners are so helpful and kind. There have been nights we were not finished painting at close and the owners said they'd be there late anyway, so we stayed with them and completed our projects. My kids even got gift cards from Santa for Art Fuzd that is how much they love it. My kids are 9 and 11. Let's support local small businesses and perhaps we will have more!!! Let me say that I did try a competitor - Color me Mine in Crystal Lake. They do not even compare to the kindness, service and prices of Art Fuzd, we were very disappointed, over charged and under satisfied.

3 of us worked on this!

We had so much fun on a hot day working on this together. The place was clean and well organized. Staff was very patient and helpful. My kids want to go back! Would go again and considering a future bday party. :) I

LOVE this place! I've been a few times pre-COVID and now mid-pandemic decided to try pottery-to-go. Both experiences were great. In-store and over the phone, Bill and Meredith are always so kind and helpful. Pick up for the to-go pottery was a breeze and felt so safe. Couldn't recommend more!

Fun place, staff is very helpful. Great place to relax and paint

I had taken my 4 year old grand-daughter here for her first ceremic painting. SHe was so proud of herself. She loved her princess she painted, and was very careful in handling it. She did not want it to break after all the work she put into it. You have to leave your piece there for a week for them to put it in the kiln. The staff is helpful and very friendly. It is a nice activity when outside temps keep you inside.

There is a $20 fee for simply painting in the space on top of the items you paint/purchase. I suppose this is normal in some places, but I was not accustomed to this. 2. You can only choose five colors, people from the studio have to pour it for you, and you have to wait for them to come around to each table to get more paint. Certain paint colors cost more than others. I understand that the staff members pouring for you is a way to prevent wasted paint, but it was very awkward and inconvenient. There were only two staff members for a crowded room. 3. The space is small and the tables are quite close together. We came on a very busy day, so I would suggest calling ahead to see if there are multiple open tables. It isn't necessarily a relaxing environment for painting. We were able to paint and have a fun time together. That being said, I think the lack of space in the studio, the paint rules, and lack of staffing led to a "just okay" experience. I wouldn't necessarily want to go back.

Love the options and prices! I certainly feel like the ceramics we painted were quality. I just…read morewasn't a fan of the "5 colors per person" rule. I totally understand the business wanting to limit resources and keep costs low, but it felt very restricting. Especially when they expected an answer on, "What color will you use the most?". It made creativity and figuring it out as you go limiting. Ultimately, for their prices we would happily go again and recommend to anyone looking to paint pottery.

We opted for the ceramics painting (there were 3 generations in our party), and the selection of ceramic ware they have to choose from is very nice. No old looking, 70s-style outdated stuff -- it was hard to choose -- from bowls, plates, vases, figurines, candle holders, mugs. Also, the selection of paint is very current as well (no primary red-yellow-blue) and the chart was very helpful in imagining what the finished fired piece would look like. We came on a Saturday morning, and there was plenty of bustling activity. Several young people were doing the cream crafts which were all these super cute charms that they were gluing with colored icing (adhesive?) to frames, or mirrors, or jewelry boxes. I might want to do that myself another time. Ruby helped to set us up and explained the paints, how many coats to do, as well as the process to complete and pick up the items (takes a few weeks). We spent a very relaxing morning painting and conversing. You could probably just walk in, but I would suggest making a reservation on a weekend morning. The prices seemed reasonable and we are all looking forward to getting our finished pieces!

The studio is a bit small but and enough space for you to roam about and do your thing. The first step was to handle the clay then they thought us how to handle the wheel and then we got to choose if we wanted a vase, a cup or a bowl. We were in a small group of 6 due to which the teachers could explain and help us well. We ended up upgrading our class to include paint as well as we got to know that without the paint we won't be able to use the things we made of it involves water. My friend made a cute cup and I made a not so cute vase. I would definitely say that but the end of the class, we were rushing a bit and would have appreciated some help and tips from the teachers but we didn't get any. We had to constantly ask about things and where the brushes were and where the paints were. Since it was our first ever class, we would have appreciated a bit more help from the teachers in managing our time and helpful tips on how to glaze correctly instead of having to ask everything ourselves when we are already rushing. Regardless, we had a lot of fun and can't wait to pick up our pieces soon!
