This has nothing to do with the treat and everything to do with the service…read more This past weekend my wife and I went to Lets Yo. I had received a $5 birthday promo and was excited to use it since it had been a while since our last visit. We originally planned to go earlier in the week but got busy, so we ended up going on Saturday despite the terrible weather. We picked our flavors and toppings and headed to checkout. I entered my phone number but the promo didn't show up. After checking my phone, I realized it had just expired. I asked the attendant if, since it was for my birthday, they could honor it. She went to ask the manager. The manager came over and I explained the situation. She said no, her reasoning? "If I do it for you, I have to do it for everyone." That didn't sit right with me. How many people are really coming in every day asking to honor an expired birthday promo? For a small oversight, I'd have to wait another year to use it? It made me feel like my business didn't matter. We're talking about $5, not a free treat. I work in the financial/service industry, so I pay close attention to customer experience. This interaction said a lot: the attendant likely didn't have the authority, but the manager had the opportunity to create a positive moment and chose not to. Moments like that are where you either create a loyal customer or lose one over something small. Safe to say, this wasn't handled well. I left more disappointed than anything. I don't see myself coming back in the near future.

I love the ice cream here. Classic spot with a booth dedicated to the iconic Sopranos. A staple for any tourist who has seen the show, come get some ice cream here and you won't be disappointed!! I loved my ice cream from here. Always have since my sister first took me here! Ice cream is delicious, rich creamy and flavorful. Special flavors rotate. Always a classic nostalgic feel. The whipped cream comes from what looks like a soda gun!! Get the whipped cream!!

If you're a fan of The Sopranos, visiting Holsten's Ice Cream, Chocolate & Restaurant is a must! This iconic New Jersey landmark is where HBO filmed the unforgettable final scene of The Sopranos, making it a bucket-list destination for fans of the series. The famous booth and nostalgic atmosphere instantly transport you back to that legendary ending that still has people debating what happened to Tony Soprano. While we think we know he was whacked was Meadow the only survivor? Beyond the television history, Holsten's is a wonderful no frills old-fashioned diner with delicious food, homemade ice cream, homemade chocolate and friendly service. I ordered the cheeseburger with the onion rings. My Cheeseburger was juicy, flavorful, well seasoned and perfectly cooked medium well. The onion rings were made of thick cut sweet onions also perfectly cooked in a well seasoned light batter. A must try! The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and full of charm. Whether you're stopping by for a meal, dessert, or simply to experience a piece of television history, it's well worth the visit. Don't forget to order the onion rings and the Orange Fizz they're famous for a reason! A perfect stop for both food lovers and The Sopranos fans alike. 5/5 Location 5/5 customer service 5/5 Prices 5/5 Food Taste and Quality 5/5 Bucket list item ( actually I grew up in the area and I ate there often) .

So I told myself the next time I pass by I would definitely stop to try some. This was the day. Walked in to find one family seated at a table, enjoying their gelato. And then a girl and a guy behind the counter, they were both sitting but when I came in , the girl popped up immediately to help which look , I don't mind them sitting at all , I wouldn't want to be standing the entire time either. What I didn't love was that the boy looked like he could care less that there was a customer and continued to just play on his phone. The girl was really nice. I asked her to try the cheddar cheese flavor which I thought was incredibly wild to even have as an option. And i'm still confused how you can make gelato taste like cheddar cheese , but still be a dessert, it was good! I decided on marscapone and black sesame and had a seat to enjoy my Gelato. The Mars Capone was absolutely delicious. It was creamy, it was the right consistency. On the other hand I didn't love the black sesame. It didn't have a very strong flavor and I didn't like the crunchy whole black Sesame seeds. Usually when I get black sesame somewhere , the seeds are pretty much ground up. Before I left , I took a second look at the flavors and definitely have to go back to try some more of the unique ones. I'm actually pretty shocked that they only have 3.7 stars, I enjoyed the Gelato, hope it wasn't a fluke!
