I encountered this business food truck at the FIFA event at Sports Illustrated stadium. Be prepared for rude service and to double-check your bill at the Fairfield Ice Cream truck. I walked up and asked one of the employees, who was standing there and not helping another customer, what the ice cream sizes were. She gave me an annoyed look and responded, "What?!" Before she answered, another employee yelled from across the truck, "I have it right here. Wait your turn," while he was ringing up someone else. I apologized and said I thought I could ask her since she wasn't helping anyone. She then muttered, "You don't have to be fucking rude." When she realized I heard her, she immediately ducked back into the truck. The entire interaction was incredibly unprofessional. Then I was charged $10 for an item clearly posted as $7. I was told the extra $3 was "tax," which simply isn't possible. We even have video showing the posted price and confirming what other customers paid. I chose not to argue because I was there with my toddler and didn't want to ruin our family outing. Everyone can have an off day, but there is no excuse for swearing at customers, treating people with disrespect, or charging more than the posted price. What should have been a fun stop for ice cream ended up being one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. read more

Best ice cream in little falls! I love all of their hard ice cream flavors and the homemade ice cream sandwiches. Super easy to walk to and grab a cone on a nice summer night. I am normally not an ice cream person, but I pass by this place almost on a daily basis and the line is always around the block on a hot day. I pulled into the gas station, apprehensively, but decided to go in anyway and wait on the line. Home made is an understatement wow! We see the sign for this ice cream shop often and were curious (albeit cautiously as it is attached to a gas station). However, we were finally convinced especially because of the rave reviews! Four of us finally stopped in yesterday. We had high hopes because the staff was immediately friendly and nice! However, all four of us were sadly disappointed by the ice cream. I got a vanilla soft serve with rainbow sprinkles on a cone. Everyone got smalls: trash can flavor, another vanilla soft serve, and a vanilla hard ice cream with Reese's. The ice cream was mediocre and we did not feel the cost was justified by the ice cream. Especially not with the other great ice cream options near by. I was already turned off by the stale rainbow sprinkles and more so when I saw i spent .70 on rainbow sprinkles. On the bottom of Sip N Swirl's sign, it says "Where You Are Family." That is so true. I have never experienced such great customer service from any other ice cream establishment. Everybody who works here is ridiculously friendly, and they all wear masks : ) I couldn't believe my ears when I was told I could try as many flavors as I'd like. I almost felt like they had my photo on the wall under a list of people who deserve exceptional treatment. Other great things about this place - Ridiculously delicious ice cream!!! Service here was great. My birthday fell on a Monday and when I'm telling you everything I wanted to do was closed: EVERYTHING I WANTED TO DO WAS CLOSED. My boyfriend and I swung here and when we noticed they were closed we looked at the menu for next time. One of the employees saw that we were there and said that they don't open for another hour but will still help us. So awesome! I got the pineapple Dole Whip with fruity pebbles on top and it was amazing. Decided to go for something a little different since I was on the go and got a Dole Whip smoothie that had pineapple chunks, bananas, and chocolate blended with coconut milk! Very delicious! They had great customer service and I made excellent use of the Yelp coupon available after I checked in. I would say I booked rather late as the party was a week away, they still accommodated me. *Please note: this was the only truck I could find in the North Jersey area that accommodated a party smaller than 50 people* which of course is an added bonus!
