We had pedicures... This was our first visit. Staff was accomodating, polite, and friendly. Offered tips to help the pedi last longer. Offered water. There was good cross ventilation so the place wasn't overpowering the customers with fumes (not sure how it would be on a hot day). The massage chairs worked. There were lots of polish colors to choose from. They applied a base coat, two color coats, and a shiny top coat. We did the deluxe pedicure - lots of scrubs, creams, hot towels, massage, etc. Loved the hot towel wrap! :-) We did not feel rushed. Felt like we could stay as long as we wanted, even though they were quite busy. Filled out a form with anniversary and birthday - said they send a special offer. Received a $5 off voucher for our next visit! :-) Toes look great! Feet are much happier. read more

Walked in on a Sunday to get my nails done before my upcoming vacation. Greeted warmly by the staff and was immediately able to sit down and started. Showed them a reference photo and they recreated it perfectly. I didn't want it too long and she was able to shape it wonderfully. I love them. Def will be my new place to go to! read more

I love this place! Quinn is the best nail tech I've had in Norman, and I've tried 5+ difference places. She really listens to what I want and is quick to fix any mistakes. She's a little quiet (which I prefer) and has a sweet personality. I always leave 100% satisfied. I even had a set for 3 weeks with no lifting (something I usually have a problem with). I never get time or money to spend on myself so today I treated myself. I came across this nail salon and thought I would give it a try. Went in and it wasn't busy at all so I had no wait which was nice. I told them I wanted the dip and color tip. She used acrylic, not dip on my nails. The color they put on my tip was what I wanted but uneven. Didn't cut cuticles or any dead skin away from my nails. No lotion or cuticle oil. As I was driving home I could feel my thumb nails are feeling loose. If I didn't live so far away I would've turned around and went back for them to fix them. $75 was what I spent and it honestly made my jaw drop. I hate to say I won't be going back and now am on to trying to find another nail salon. My suggestion is try if you want but it's not inexpensive and I would consider it a waste. read more

Was there at 9:30 and was told to wash my hands in sit down. Before 10am, 3 other people had shown up to get pedicures. All being helped while my hands sat soaking. Some lady behind me complained that she wanted the lady that was supposed to help me, to do her pedicure. So she got her way and I was left there with my hands soaking. I waited after being told someone would show up in 5 minutes to help me. I waited for a total of 45 minutes and decided I was leaving! Very unprofessional to have me sitting there for 45 minutes even though I was the first one there! i get my nails done every 3 weeks. i've been going here for a while but these past few times my nails have been uneven. i also requested my nails to be done a certain way to avoid peeling and unevenness and she said no and did how she wanted it, then they peeled the next day. i pay 85 for a new set every week and i tip to make it 100 and i don't know if it's worth it anymore. this has been happening since someone else at the salon started doing my nails. read more

I'm changing my last review from 2 weeks ago. I got an acrylic manicure and a pedicure, the mani has lasted well but something horrible happened with my pedicure. The girl who did my feet dug way too deep and aggressively on one of my big toes and I left the salon limping that foot. Figured the pain would go away in a day or so but it lasted two weeks. Tonight I noticed a dark spot on my toe and investigated only to find out I had an infection hiding in between the skin and the nail where she cut me very deeply. It was completely hidden and unnoticeable until it had reached this point. I had to dig out and disinfect the spot and I will not be coming here again. If I hadn't noticed this error, I could've potentially lost a toe read more

The lady literally burned my foot with a hot towel during my pedicure. she threw the boiling hot towel on my feet and then walked away. I immediately kicked it off and told her that she burned me. she didn't apologize or even acknowledged the fact that she literally hurt me. I do not recommend this place. read more

With stellar reviews on other sites and the convenience of it being down the road from me, I decided to give Art Nails a shot with my mom and sister. We ended up having an excellent, relaxing afternoon. The shop and tools were clean. The women that helped us were sweet (Quinn was my technician) and gave us the best mani/pedis in Oklahoma at an extremely reasonable price (about $10 for a manicure with paraffin wax and $20 for a full blown pedicure). They also offer waxing. I'm not sure of the price, but I believe it is equally inexpensive. One thing they mentioned from the get-go is that they do not take off as much dead skin as some places. Apparently if they take off too much, the new skin will callous over tenfold. My feet still looked great but were not pink or sore like they can get at some places that go overboard and I found it very easy to maintain even months later. If you are still on the lookout for a reliable, inexpensive nail salon in Norman, look no further. read more

I have been going to this salon for years. During the past 6 months I have experienced a decline in service and courtesy towards customers. The last 2 visits, especially yesterday, were the worst. Both times Vivi did my manicure (simple acrylic manicure) and did a terrible job. She was rude, and rushed through the process. She did not file my nails straight, left gaps between the nail and cuticle when applying the acrylic, applied the acrylic unevenly and left bubbles on my nails. I repeatedly asked her to fix each issue and she claimed to not understand what I was saying. I do not feel I should have had to pay for this lousy service. Find ANOTHER salon! There are too many to choose from to put up with this. read more

I have been going here off and on for awhile but yesterday was the last time I will go. My pedicure is horrible. The skin on the bottom of my feet is rough and hard. Horrible. Pushy, expensive, rude (making litttle comments to each other and pointing at our feet and laughing), did a really cruddy job in my shellac...like it is streaky. My mother in law's dipped nails are rough on the ends. They were super rough with her rheumatoid arthritic hands. So sick we just wasted like $120 here!! read more

I went here with my friend today and I needed some of my nails shorter for my job (I have to grip bars a lot and long nails get in the way and hurt my hand) but I still wanted most nails longer for the aesthetic. My friend speaks Vietnamese and told me that the girl doing her nails told the girl doing mine that I wanted my nails shorter because we are gay and proceeded to call my friend's hands "manly" twice. I found this very unprofessional and just made me very anxious for the duration of the service because I did not know what else they were saying about us or the other people being serviced. We were going to get pedicures as well but ended up paying for our manicures and leaving because they were quite busy and taking a while, but also because the girl doing my friend's nails continued to talk about her being "manly". I paid $95 total for both of our manicures and for the first time ever, did not tip because of how upset I was about how they were talking about us. I also had nail art done on my nails and it was very rushed and not worth the $95 but I'm not sure if it was rushed because they were busy or because of the assumption made about us being gay. This place is the ABSOLUTE best! We I've always loved the sweet ladies here. We had pedicures for my bachelorette party here a few weeks ago and it was so fun and our toes looked great! Today (7 days before my wedding), I broke my thumb nail and it kept catching on things and ripping. I was thinking, "if I trim this, I'm going to have a super short nail for the wedding and it will look weird! ". I went in to get my eyebrows done and shellac. I am very happy with my nail service (4stars).The waxing not so much(1 star). As soon as my nails were done, I was rushed into a back room where the woman took very little time waxing. Other places I go they will take the time to examine my face, pluck hairs, etc. While I was laying down I was asked if I wanted my lip waxed. I said sure. It was soo hot my lip! Now my skin looks like I've had some bad reaction. I will never get waxing services from here again. read more

Best pedicure I've ever had. Katie took her time even tho another came in requesting her as well as phone calls pouring in asking for her. She was gentle and attentive and friendly and thorough. Kim took care of my mother, who has only had 2 pedicures in her life, and made her so comfortable and did a wonderful job as well. I have gone to this salon multiple times and have always left feeling less than satisfied with their work. I gave them several chances but there are too many options for nail salons in Norman for me to continue going to a place where they are rude and unprofessional. The staff blatantly talks about customers right in front of their faces. They point and laugh at customers without reserve. They do not honor appointment times-- on two separate occasions I have waited over 20 minutes to be seen by the person who was supposed to be doing my nails. The majority of the technicians here do not do an adequate job. They use poor techniques and often cause nics or bleeding. Kim and Katie are kind, professional, and do a good job. Everyone else there is not worth a return visit. I absolutely would recommend going to one of the other multiple options nearby. read more

Nice ladies, but never enough techs there. I have been there numerous times but will not be going back. It took almost 3 hours to get a dipped manicure one time. Katie has the others helping 3 people at a time yet she can sit beginning to end with her clients. I doesn't help to book in advance. When my friend and I did, we were told it was later. Left, and came back and I was still sitting there while my friend's nail tech was helping 2 other customers with 3 ladies further down the counter sitting by themselves. My daughter and I nails look great but... My fingers hurt from the overuse of power tools for powder nails. Also, while I was washing my hands the technician put another person in my seat. The person was in a rush to get back to work. I really didn't appreciate that because she was about to have me wait, as if I didn't have somewhere to be.
