I've been going here for years, and I don't know why I'd try any place else. Alain was great, as had been James, Nathan, and Peter (who have now left). The 5-min chair massage with the $41 manicure is really invigorating. The pedicure is always relaxing. This place is very clean, and everyone has their crap together. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel like people should know about my experience. After getting a pedicure at Boss Nails in Norman, I developed an infection in my big toe that ended up requiring antibiotics and multiple doctor visits. It was painful, stressful, and something I never expected from a routine pedicure. The part that upset me the most wasn't even the infection. It was how I was treated when I reached out to let them know what had happened. I contacted them because I thought they should be aware, and I honestly hoped they would respond with some compassion or even just a simple apology. I never asked for a refund, and I never mentioned taking legal action. I just wanted them to know that a customer had been injured after receiving a service there. Instead, I was met with rude and defensive responses. I received multiple phone calls and text messages and on one phone call they told me that their lawyer would be contacting me and demanding that I provide my doctor's information and pictures of my toe. It felt completely unnecessary and honestly intimidating considering I had never threatened to sue them or asked for anything. What really bothered me was how quickly they became defensive instead of showing any concern for what I was going through. I was dealing with a painful infection and not once did I feel like they cared about my well-being. The entire conversation became about protecting themselves instead of checking on me. I understand that accidents can happen, and I wasn't expecting perfection. What I did expect was basic kindness and professionalism. A simple apology or some acknowledgment of the situation would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and treated like I had done something wrong by bringing it to their attention. I truly hope no one else has to go through what I did. Based on both the health issue I experienced and the way I was treated afterward, I can't recommend this salon. read more

My sister and I recently visited this salon with high hopes.. we weren't disappointed at first, however that quickly changed. We both went in for a set of acrylics after seeing in their website that it was $51+ & only $10+ for designs on all 10 nails. After showing the nail tech our inspiration they sat us down for a 20 minute wait (we ended up waiting for 45 minutes). Not once did the nail tech or anyone else bring up that they did charge extra for longer nails and those are my preferred type of nail nor on their website did they mention extra charges for length.. me thinking it would only be around $75 because I got a set of acrylics with a French design...I was absolutely blown away when the guy told me $92..I have been a certified nail tech for over 2 years now but occasionally I enjoy getting my nails done by someone else. But never have I been charged $92 for a simple set of nails. Not only did this salon try to change their prices last minute but they also ignore several regulations in place by the board of cosmetology. After pointing out that I am a nail tech and that the nails were simply not worth $92 (they claimed it was expensive because of my length) they lowered it to $86..not a big difference but I definitely don't think I will be going back. My sister's experience was just as bad, she had gotten a set that we both knew would be on the pricier side because of the nail art involved- we loved them..however, 3 days later her polish is pealing...these were not cheap nails so I would hope that they would last..yet another chop shop I will not be going to again. read more

I finally had my fingernails to a point where I decided to get my first manicure in 8 years - I went with dip as it helps the strength of my nails. I am so pleased with the results! I had an 11:00 appointment with Michelle. I got a confirmation text. When I checked in with my phone number, my appointment showed up on the monitor. I waited for 20 minutes and Michelle wasn't nearly finished with a customer. I ended up leaving. This is another "conveyor belt" nail salon that packs in as many services as possible and can't honor an appointment. The walk ins got seated. Appointments mean nothing. No way to run a business. Went in to get pedicure and full set. Nails look pretty. I got charged $5 extra for full length after expressing that I would go shorter to avoid the charge. They still made my nails shorter but kept the "extra length" charge. Won't go back they will charge you for every little thing. read more

This business is absolutely horrible. My sister-in law & I went in about a week ago. We both wanted to get dip. We sat down & the girl just started filing, never asked if we wanted tips or anything. Finally, my sister in law spoke up & said she wanted tips & the boss nails employee replied "well I've already filed most of your nails, I can't do that." We both finished our nails & we get up to the front, my sister in laws comes out to $51 which I agree is normal for dip, but not what she wanted, we didn't even get tips even after speaking up. The next day, 4 of her nails popped right off & my dip has already peeled. I would not recommend going to this place. They do not make you feel pretty, more like a nuisance. read more
