The breakfast was filling! But super good! The waitress was patient and quick, which was nice because we were starving, haha! It's located in Cathcart, which a very hipster vibe but very calming.

Delicious food. Can't deny that but definitely expect a long wait 45-1hr even for 2 people on a beautiful day for brunch, even if it's not the weekend and not during peak lunch hour! I think we went on a Friday ~1:30p. Service is nice and fast. Environment is nice but space is tight, especially if you sit at the counter.

Whenever I'm in Montreal, a meal at Arthurs Nosh Bar is an absolute must -- it's a tradition at this point. The atmosphere is effortlessly warm and bustling, full of that signature Montreal charm. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and everything from the coffee to the presentation shows how much care goes into the experience. I always order the eggs and salami plate, and it never disappoints. The beef salami is truly exceptional -- rich, flavorful, and perfectly seared. The eggs are always cooked just right, and the plate also includes the most delicious pressed challah roll paired with a latke and applesauce combo that elevates the dish to another level. The sweet, tender applesauce and crispy, golden latke alongside the soft, buttery challah create a perfect balance of flavors that's simply unforgettable. Arthurs has mastered the art of simple food done perfectly. Whether you're a local or just visiting, it's the kind of place that instantly becomes part of your Montreal routine. I make a point to eat here at least once every trip -- it's just that good.

Pancakes are some of the best I've ever had. Can't got wrong for a brunch spot, service was quick and efficient.

We came for brunch on a Sunday morning and were able to be seated immediately. We'd been to breakfast before at the other smaller location, and we much preferred this location with the amount of space and overall less chaotic ambiance. Service was attentive, and we were given enough time to review the menu and order. We got the home run, the McArthur Sandwich, the sausage and eggs, a side of fries, and the shakshouka. Overall we'd recommend the home run and the sausage and eggs, as well as the pancakes and fries. The shakshouka was nothing special, and the McArthur was okay but the breading on the schnitzel was pretty dry. Overall good experience though, and decently priced!

Super friendly and helpful staff!! The food was very good and unique from what I was expecting. The decor is also really gorgeous. Located in the mall food court area but it is definitely large like a typically restaurant. The soft scrabbled eggs were AMAZING

Very nice, comfy spot to grab a bite and enjoy breakfast with friends. The eggs & salami plate was quite tasty, including a most delicious potato latke. Breakfast sandwich was very good as well. Great service, too.

But before even checking in, we had to walk through Bar George ~ and instantly knew we wanted to eat there. We were lucky enough to grab a last-minute reservation, and Julien took a good care of us throughout the evening. His recommendation of the Beef Wellington was spot on (it's already one of our favorite dishes), but this was hands down the best we've ever had. I ordered the lobster risotto, which was excellent with just the right amount of spice. My son had the 10 oz striploin steak with homemade fries (chips), and it was absolutely delicious. I also loved the Canadian touch of coarse salt on the steak, plus the option to choose between Béarnaise or peppercorn sauce. Julien also mentioned their pastry chef placed second in a NY competition, and the desserts absolutely lived up to that reputation. We tried the pineapple and coconut pavlova and the "lick me hazelnut" ~ both beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. We also ordered iced coffee and a latte, and noticed something interesting: this was the second place where we found Canadian coffee to be smooth and mild ~ such a nice change from the often bitter, over-roasted American coffee. Yes, dinner was a bit steep ($300+), but it was worth every penny. Between the rich history, stunning design, outstanding service, and unique cuisine, I would highly recommend Bar George. I would absolutely love to come back!!

We went here during the week right when they opened so no line but based on other reviews, this place gets busy and does not take reservations so be aware. Service was great, space was open, light and welcoming and the food, my god the food!! Im a lover of all things fungi so when I saw mushroom toast on the menu, I couldn't consider anything else. The portions were huge and the mushroom toast was one of the best brunch meals I've had in a long time. A variety of mushrooms along with delicious whipped feta , this meal was the perfect way to kick off our visit to Montreal! They also have a lovely array of coffee drinks as well.

The chimichurri mayo , apple slaw, and super crispy chicken were utter perfection. Seriously, you have to try this place no matter the wait. Also had the ricotta pancakes - light airy and fluffy with an addicting brown butter syrup. The lemon cream was a perfect light compliment. Also one of the best pancake dishes I've ever had. Lastly the extras... chai tea latte, fresh OJ, and even the chocolate chip cookie (which has candied pecans inside!) were top notch. Not saying I would fly to Montreal just to eat here, but I would fly to Montreal just to eat here.
