Beautiful pottery by local Artisans. I was welcomed in by one of the shops owners who promptly asked me if I was there for the Mayor's Birthday... Max is his name and he is a beautiful Golden Retriever, sadly I was unaware of such an occasion but it is duly noted for next year. Gorgeous mugs, bowls and plates are here. If you are like me and prefer one-of-a-kind service ware, make your way up the mountain and peruse their offerings. I got this neat garlic grater that is so beautiful just grate the Garlic and then pour the olive oil into the same dish Voilà your good to go! They also offer pottery classes here as well. One item I wanted to purchase but refrained was the candle that had the scent of rain after it's initial descent on the earth Petrichor - there were 2 choices one with pine forest scent and one with wild flowers... they come in lovely pottery urns (not very large). Let me say this first, I'm not knowledgeable on molding or custom framing. I haven't had a custom…read moreframe / molding for a picture or print before until recently. I really wanted to go to a local frame / molding shop. But, after getting a print custom matted and framed from this shop, the experience and end result makes me a fan of getting custom molding / frames. This place is awesome. On the walls are samples of hundreds of various different moldings. Some areas, there are completed custom framed pieces waiting for their owners to pick them up. This place is a gem. The shop owner / picture framer, Fernando Guzman, is really nice and friendly. I showed him the print and he gave me some ideas on what to do with it. After talking and looking over different moldings and matte colors scheme, he gave me a total price, which seemed fair and within reason. He even gave me an estimated date of completion and finished it before then. The end result is a beautiful print that's framed and hanging on a wall right where I'm typing this up. This will be my go-to shop for custom framing. And, if anyone wants a quality custom frame job, I'll point them to this location.

He trimmed canvas meant to be wrapped around stretcher bars and put visible staples all along the edge. His explanation was I had not asked for "gallery wrap." I've never even heard of the phrase. His defense was to tell me about his other screw ups in both purchasing work and performing services.

Adam really makes the experience so very special and their is such a sense of community fostered there. The owners are beautiful, talented, creative people doing wonderful work so you can feel that heart in the store no question. A few jackets, hats, and earrings I have bought there are amongst my absolute favorite as they are unique and high quality. I also enjoy the events they have from time to time and special pop ups. I love the new location and am so glad they have more space and are more front and center. In a culture increasingly peddling fast fashion with no heart or story or ethics, this is the antidote. The prices are fair and reflect the quality so it is the equivalent of a special date night restaurant for me, but so worth saving up and they do have great sales and there are very accessible priced items available. It is a good spot for gifts as well.
