I did bring my necklace that needs to be fixed with me, and they are charging $28.00 for soldering. had to bracelets shortened and the work was done quickly and they look great. They took a lot of care to fix them the best possible way so that I don't lose them. Dan was very creative with the one as to how to shorten it without losing the two stones on the bracelet. So I had an old Raymond Weil (expensive Swiss watch) that I wanted to give as a gift to a friend. Though in good shape, it needed a good cleaning, box/cushion, etc. I found Dan's Jewlers through Yelp, and brought the watch in to prepare it to be a gift. The direction my navigation brought me from made me think it was in a really odd residential location, but I later realized it's actually just a half block from a large shopping center. Anyway, the price was reasonable and I was EXTREMELY impressed with the communication. It turned out that the watch also needed a battery, and they kept me informed every step of the way. You'd think a battery was a small thing, but because the watch hadn't been cleaned in a long time, it was actually challenging for them to get the watch back off. They called me twice to communicate about this, and make sure I was comfortable with the risk for scratches that could occur due to the amount of dirt (I was fine with that, and they managed to get the watch back off with no scratches anyway). Ultimately, the job was done well, and on time, and they did not try to charge me any more than the original quote - even though I suspect they spent more time on it than originally expected. Overall I was very impressed with the level of service and communication, and would absolutely go back to them if I needed any other repairs/cleaning/etc. performed! read more

Talk about making you feel welcomed and respected. I cannot say just how much I enjoyed my visit here today. My husband needed two of his watch batteries replaced. We were able to get both done for under $22! Plus they said it would only take 15 mins which I thought was super nice. I drove to Dan's from the west part of Moreno Valley because my friend had her wedding ring fixed here last year and she was super satisfied with the entire experience and price.
