I waited a while to post this review because I wanted to see how everything held up after a bad experience with another turf company. Alex from Greenway came in and immediately identified all the issues. His project manager, Eric, was always present and kept me updated. They repaired a large sinkhole along the side of my house, replaced the water flashing along the house, replaced all the irrigation pipes, addressed drainage problems, re-leveled pavers, used the proper soil, and completely replaced the turf. The turf installed by Greenway is still beautiful over a year later--the blades have maintained their shape, it's soft, stays cool to the touch, has no drainage or sinkage issues, and does not retain any pet odor. In contrast, the previous turf retained odor despite following the other company's recommendations. Alex and his team, including his office staff, were professional, thorough, and extremely detail-oriented. I highly recommend Greenway Landscaping for their quality work, professionalism, and attention to detail. This review is neither incentivized nor solicited. They also removed the stone ground cover, replaced the drip line sprinkler system and amended the soil before planting a new tree, shrubs and ground cover. They then rounded it out with a new landscape lighting system. Lizette was our estimator and contact person. Steve and Jose ran the show on site. Everyone did a great job and totally changed the look of our landscape.

You'll also see complaints on Yelp for his previous Morningstar Turf company. -The complaints are mostly around Marc taking down payments and not delivering any services -This is exactly what he did to me -He owes me my $1,200 down payment after taking the money, not installing turf and then blocking my phone number when I requested the money back multiple times. -His last text before blocking my number was "Call a lawyer before you call the cops. The fire pit installed by this company exploded into my girlfriend's face. We had an independent professional company come out to inspect the unit and the gas line. Their findings were shocking: the gas connection was completely loose. This negligence allowed gas to build up inside the fire pit structure, which caused it to explode upon ignition. Because of the physical injuries sustained and the absolute gross negligence regarding a gas installation, we are now taking this company to litigation. If you value the safety of your home and your family, stay far away from this business. A "loose connection" on a gas line is not just a mistake--it is a deadly hazard. We are currently in the process of legal action to hold them accountable for the damage and trauma they have caused. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.

Who knew it would be so hard to find a decent landscaper? First person we interviewed seemed fairly…read moredecent. He recommended we consult with a landscape designer and hooked us up with one. She was great. Came out to the house, talked with us at some lengths about the sort of thing we were looking for (we wanted low water, low maintenance and as native as possible) and came up with some beautiful plans, which she gave to the landscaper as well. The landscaper never got back to us with an estimate after repeated contact. So that was down the toilet. Several months later we contacted three more landscapers and interviewed them and showed them our handy dandy landscape plan. Of all three, David was the most thorough, and the most knowledgeable. We discussed all sorts of options for our landscape design and agreed to a reasonably priced budget. The very next week, David had his crew start on the yard. The crew was very professional, worked in a timely manner and the entire project was finished on time and on budget. There were a few issues: 1) After the initial workup, David was strictly hands off. All of the work was handled by a crew and foreman. And there wasn't a lot of interaction between them and us. 2) the lack of interaction led to some things in the plan not being implemented as we had expected 3) some of the plant choices weren't as good as could be and were probably marked up a lot in price - some plants survived the initial 3 months period but died after that. I kind of expected that though as we have a difficult hill where nothing wants to grow. My husband was not happy with one of the trees planted. It was healthy but spindly when the idea was to have a tree that would help shade the house from the sun (eventually), and we found much nicer trees of the same species for a lot less at the nursery up the road when we went and looked for ourselves. David and his crew did a great job installing the new watering system and the hardscape. The yard is no longer an eyesore. We are enjoying many of the beautiful flowering plants. Recently, we had them come back out to repair some of our drip system (under warranty) and they came out the very same day and fixed everything with no fuss or bother. This is definitely a professional company that gets the job done and I would recommend them for your landscaping needs.
