After picking up the turf, I came home (2hours away), rolled it out, only to find... it didn't match. Dishearted, I call the company, and eventually got put in contact with a manager named Scott. Scott and his team spent the next few days trying to solve my dilemma, and within a WEEK, had the proper roll delivered to my home (2hours away), free of charge. I was very Impressed with their wellness to go above and beyond to resolve the issue. On top of that I got an amazing deal on grass that saved me about $2200 + free fill, had I had bought that tier of grass new. Would not order from them if you need your grass delivered. Was told delivery is approximately 1-2 weeks but it's been 2.5 weeks and we haven't even gotten shipping information. Called them 5 different times to get any kind of information and they couldn't tell me where my grass is or estimated arrival either. Tried to speak to a supervisor/manager many times but they said they can't reach them at the moment? We asked if we could just cancel the order since we're short on time at this point and wanted to get the grass elsewhere but they said we would have to pay a 30% restocking fee. Next time I will listen to the yelp reviews. What a huge disappointment this was and expensive. I was trying to do the right thing by buying recycled artificial turf for my dog training facility. It took two weeks to get a response (I should have walked away then). But then I spoke to someone and it all sounded great. Turf was delivered today - it is just trash - masses of holes in it - I was told some lines from the soccer field - not holes everywhere. Delivery was really expensive and the delivery person just dumped the turf in the middle of my parking lot. Nearly $1000 total later.... not a single thought of how we might move the 3000lbs of plastic grass but I guess he just didn't care. read more

Horrible customer service. I went in with the intention of purchasing two rolls of turf from Daniel on November 30, 2019. He tells me that there is a special going on where I can get the third roll for $50. it sound like a good deal so I go ahead and pay for that third roll. He gets busy with another customer after I'm done with the payment process so a different gentleman helps us load our trailer. He told us that the capacity for our trailer would only allow for two rolls to be transported. Daniel never went over that information with us. So we decide to only take the two rolls. He tells us that he will inform Daniel and that I should see a $50 refund issued on my bank statement within 10 business days. Weeks go by and there is still no refund. So I call two different times towards the end of December 2019 to talk to Daniel regarding the status of my refund. I get told both times that he is busy and that he will call me back as soon as he's available. He never calls me back. I call again on December 30, 2019 and I'm finally able to get a hold of him. I explain to him that I have yet to see the refund on my bank statement and I would appreciate an update. He is apologetic but he tells me that the other gentleman never told him that I didn't end up taking that third roll and that I would need a $50 refund. He says that he will issue the refund immediately and that I should see it on my bank statement by January 10, 2020. Again, weeks go by and no refund. I call again a few times in late January/ early February. Every single time I get told the same thing: "He's busy with another customer right now, he will call you back as soon as he's available." At this point I'm beyond frustrated at the utter lack of customer service displayed by this company so I call again on February 21, 2020 but this time I ask to speak to a manager/ supervisor. Once again I get the same line: "She's away from the office right now but I will make sure to let her know to call you as soon as she's back in." It's currently February 26, 2020 and I'm still waiting on that call from management. I called once again a few minutes ago and my call went to voicemail. That's honestly what prompted me to write this review. Bottoms line: Take your business elsewhere! read more

AGR had been recommended to me by a few friends when I had started looking into turf options a few months ago and it was a great choice to go with them. Joe was my sales rep and he carefully went over all of my options with me, understood my tight budget, and was very detailed when explaining what recycled turf means! Unfortunately, turf did not end up being the right choice for us because to my surprise I'm allergic to the materials it's made out of. My husband and I were really excited about putting artificial turf in our backyard, and based off of Facebook reviews for AGR, we thought we were making the right decision by going with the recycled turf through them. We bought the turf in December of 2017, and it has been a nightmare since then (it is now June of 2018.) We signed the contract for the turf being in "as is" condition because we were told over and over again that the turf had plenty of life left, that it all came from the same field, and that the field lines could easily be cut out. The first two times we hired someone to transport the turf, AGR lost our paperwork so it couldn't be picked up, and my husband kept having to call them until he finally got ahold of our original salesperson who confirmed we did, indeed, pay them. By the time we got the turf home and unrolled, it looked like a LOT of field lines, but again, we were assured that it could be cut out and there would still be enough turf to lay down. We hired a contractor to come in and lay the turf, and when all was said and done, by the time he cut out most of the field lines, there was NOT enough turf and he had to leave a portion of the lines in. Not only that, but the different rolls of turf were completely uneven and definitely not from the same field. The first time we called was in early February after our contractor had installed the turf and we realized how bad it really was. Our entire backyard just looked like a quilt of different types of grass and a bunch of field lines. The salesperson on the phone told my husband that one of the rolls they gave us was wrong (he said something about it being a different length than the rest, which we already figured was the case.) This is when we started the process of asking for a refund. The guy took our name and said someone would get back to us. Weeks went by and nothing, so we followed up. Same thing - we were told someone would get back to us. Weeks went by again and nothing, so we followed up again. Finally - in April - someone in corporate emailed my husband and offered to replace the turf. That would have been a nice offer had we not already spent the money to transport the turf, do the base work for the turf, and install the turf - which was thousands of dollars. So AGR's solution was essentially to hire someone to uninstall all of the existing turf and go through the entire process again. That really wasn't an option. All we wanted was a refund because the original product was so bad, and we couldn't afford to go through the labor costs again. We were only met with hostility from that point, and the corporate guy just kept telling us that we agreed to "as is" condition. We know what a contract is, so it was just condescending at this point. We had FIVE different contractors come out in April who all agreed that the turf is unusable, should never have been sold to us, and definitely came from different fields. At the beginning of May, we were offered a "partial" refund, which was still kind of a joke because it barely covered the cost of what we paid to just have the turf transported to our house. But at this point, we knew we weren't getting anywhere, so we agreed. On May 3, we were told they were sending the check. On May 25, we followed up because we hadn't received anything or heard anything. About a week later, they finally reached out and said (and I QUOTE) "the check should arrive no later than Saturday." Lo and behold, by the Thursday AFTER the Saturday they assured us it would arrive, we still hadn't received anything. When we followed up again, the story changed to (and I QUOTE again) "it should have mailed no later than Friday/This Monday." We finally got the check the following Saturday with a postmark date that showed it was definitely not mailed "no later than Friday/This Monday" but wasn't mailed until that Thursday (almost two weeks after they said it would be there NO LATER THAN SATURDAY.) So we were blatantly lied to more than once about the status of the check and when it was mailed. It seems like other people have had luck with AGR, so maybe it's just the branch in Northern California that is horrible, and maybe the corporate guy that has treated us like children should come look at the stock up here so he knows what he's talking about. People in Northern California - do NOT buy artificial turf from AGR, or if you do, do NOT sign the contract until you demand they unroll and show you the exact turf rolls you'll be getting. Please, please save yourselves the money, the time, and the headaches! read more

We purchased artificial sod from them and after getting it home it was two different products and it had a big 2 and 0 in the middle of it that was not mentioned. They said it would have lines on the edge but not mention of the numbers. They would not let us return it nor would they refund it. Do not buy from this company. Crooks! read more

Company does not stand by their product. Rolls arrived in protected and pierced by fork lifts through the roll. they Said I should patch the holes but agter spending about $3500 on turf i didn't want a damaged product. The Products were shipped without a core inserted in the middle (might have been a shipper issue though) but either way company should stand by their product and then charge the shipper. This is expensive stuff and to ask me to install damaged materials which arrived Damaged is just bad form. read more

Don't do it! You get nice turf, sure, but it's filled with 2,000 lbs of rubber crumb that is impossible to get out. You read right, 2,000 lbs of infill. If you don't believe me, come look at the mountain of infill (I can't even take to the dump) that's sitting in my backyard. Companies are being sued over what they sell there. It's recycled tires they're filling the grass with and that's what you take home. Their rolls of grass are so heavy that we had to use my dad's heavy duty 4x4 truck just to pivot the roll a quarter turn to try and clean it out. After a week of daily work cleaning those things out, we installed it. Now, a few months later, we decided to tear it out and buy brand new turf. We didn't put the rubber crumb back in the turf because I didn't want my kids playing in it but they still come in the house with black arms and legs from the fine powder the rubber let out in the grass. It's so bad that it goes through their clothes and makes their torso and diaper black. Don't think their out there playing all day and rolling around in it, either. They go out a couple of hours AT MOST, and play on the playground. I pressure washed it a few times to make sure it was clean and it didn't do much. This stuff was absolutely not worth the savings. I'm not afraid of hard work, in the least bit, but this was a nightmare to shake out; physically impossible without the help of machines. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GO THERE. Spend a little more and get new turf. read more

I ordered half a dozen rolls of turf through Marisa, the sales rep in my region with AGR. For the most part all rolls met satisfaction. Some were short on square footage and AGR made it right. Being reclaimed turf, there were lines in most rolls, that being said they were easily cut out with about a 10% waste factor. A lot of labor was involved turfing my yard, but it has been well worth the time & effort. Thanks again, I look forward to using yall for future projects. read more
