After several months of repeated follow-ups, the company finally sent someone out to address the issue. Weed treatment was applied and the turf was reinstalled. I was initially told the work would be completed within one day, which it was. However, I chose to wait before leaving a review to evaluate the results of the treatment and reinstallation. After several more months, there has been no noticeable growth. Overall, while the service was eventually completed, and the outcome did take a while overall. Happy it looks great. read more

I am so thankful for Grizzly Outdoor. They transformed my patio to a functional space for my children and I. We first met with Jeremy, who proposed pavers and turf. We then met Clayton and his crew, who went over demolition, irrigation, and structural integrity. Kevyn was our project manager who kept in communication as best she could. We made several changes throughout our project which made things a bit hard for the team to keep track of. The installation date was changed the morning of, alterations were forgotten, and many emails had to be referred to. As much as I absolutely loved the work, their communication between teams could be improved. As a future customer, I would make sure to strictly email all alterations and avoid texting/calling as that's where miscommunication came from. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this company and would happily be back. It was much more pricey compared to other options, but the work speaks for itself. I'm so glad we chose Grizzly. We weren't the easiest of clients as far as changes/alterations - so we are totally empathetic of the lack of communication. Grizzly Outdoor installed artifical turf in a 1,600+ sq. ft. section of my backyard. The process was extremely efficient and multi layers were added prior to and after the turf was installed. The workers knew exactly what they were doing and worked very hard throughout the process. The process was spelled out in an email prior to installation, so I knew exactly what to expect. This company exceeded my expectations. Several companies provided quotes, but none went to the extent to assure that the weeds in my yard would be permanently eliminated. Smooth talking Jeremy came out and gave us a quote for turf, that we accepted and had installed. He knew we had two large dogs and we were concerned the grass would become smelly over time. He assured us the turf we chose was best for pets and we would just need to spray it down with Simple Green or similar on occasion, which we had to start doing immediately. The urine smell became overwhelming within two months and we contacted the company who came back out for a complimentary treatment of the turf. The guy put down some more white gravel looking stuff and left. We contacted the company again over the same problem, but this time they quoted us $800 to come out and treat the turf. I feel disappointed and overall angry with the lies from this company. We have tried every turf spray sold and nothing works. I never wanted to be the house whose yard smells of urine, but here we are. I would absolutely not recommend this company or product. read more

We contacted Grizzly for a quote a few weeks ago to redo our side yard with synthetic grass. From that point, it was smooth sailing. The salesperson came out in a couple of days, took pictures, drew a mockup and provided a fair quote with options. We had our turf installed by Grizzly outdoors about a week ago and we love the final product. Jeremy did our initial quote and was really great to work with. I honestly would have given 5 stars but there were a few hiccups with installation. The installation process was pretty smooth, but was delayed by a day at the last minute. The contract included additional drains to be installed and I had to convince the workers to actually put them in. They also completely buried one of my drains under the road base, which I had to vacuum out after completion. There is also one low spot in the middle of the grass that I mentioned to them when they were compacting the road base that they seem to have ignored. All in all, we love the product, but I think the installation process could have been completed a little better. read more

I initially brought Jeremy in to estimate my project when I had a swimming pool in place. After the pool was demolished, he came back to remeasure. He brought samples with him and was knowledgeable about their services. The sales experience was not pushy. Kevyn in the back office was very responsive over email and text, and she helped facilitate all aspects of the project. She helped get me the paperwork I needed to meet my city's permitting process, plus handled all communications over the months that my project spanned. Eventually, when we did get on the calendar, the project team came out in force and my project was completed in a little under a day (about 550 square feet). Nestor and his guys were professional, on-time, and experts in their craft. All-in, my cost was about $11 a square foot for the Diamond Light Fescue turf. Apparently there was not enough road base compacted under my turf. The unevenness seen in the photo is all over my front yard. Water "pools" all over, you may even step on heads of nails. At the time of installation I had to call Lucas because the installers were barely removing any dirt. Well, after a couple years and some rain in Southern California I have lumps all over. The sad part for Grizzly Turf is I live across the street from a middle school. Daily at least 100 cars pass these "lumps". Many ask who installed my turf and would I recommend them. I'm pretty sure you know my answer. Of course, it doesn't rain much in California, but when it finally did it was beyond the 2 year warranty. When I call Grizzly, the young lady told me my situation is out of warranty and it would cost me to have someone take a look. Now, the hard part is to find someone to properly fix my turf. Other companies will not touch turf they did not install. Pretty sad, 1000's of dollars for what?!?! read more
