Just look at the owners response from past negative reviews. I knew he'd follow up this review with personal attack, gaslighting, and false accusations that are totally irrelevant to his behavior. Original review: Extremely unprofessional, doesnt read, and dishonest pricing. I wouldn't write this if I didn't already do my homework and research. Final price was 2x from what he originally quoted me (he claimed to be a mistake price) I was extremely clear with my job because someone who's professional enough came out and measured so I knew the exact sqft. So I knew what a professional job would cost. When I called him out towards the end regarding his pricing, he started to accusing me at me for things that's completely unrelated to the job. He gave me three prices in total. Each higher than the previous one. He said he made a mistake on pricing on the first one which I thought it was good deal. Clearly he didn't read my message thoroughly. Then gave me second / higher price which I thought was still a good price (mistake price again!!!) So I called since he ignored my text many times on yelp. When I finally decided to go with him on the second price. He gave me final and highest price and said it's a discount because he made a mistake. It was absolutely regular price compared to other tint companies in the area for the cheaper film he's using. $7/sqft. I hired them to install film on a large bay of floor to ceiling windows to keep the heat out in the summer. The price seemed very reasonable and they were very professional during the installation. The problem is that the product they installed does not reduce the heat at all. In fact, my energy bill has gone up and when I feel the glass, it feels hotter than before. I called to find out if they would make it right and they refused to even come out to take a look. Very disappointing. read more

We had six new windows installed in our home during our home renovation. The windows were installed in various locations throughout our home including the restrooms, entryway, living room, and bedroom. Due to the proximity of the neighboring home, we needed to have the newly installed windows frosted for privacy. We reached out to several vendors for quotes but ultimately ended up working with Hamid from Artint as he provided us with varying film options that would meet the requirements of my project and ultimately offered a competitive price. The same level of professionalism and communication carried out through the entire project. On his first day out (during our active construction site), Hamid advised that we reschedule -given all the dust from our workers. About a week later Hamid's team came out again and installed the film. I pay close attention to details and expect a product or a service to be delivered as advertised. Upon inspection of one of the windows, I noticed a corner of one of the windows appeared a bit frayed. Once I brought this to Hamid's attention he acknowledged it and immediately offered to reinstall the entire window to rectify the problem. I met Hamid when I needed a good tint applied to my car. It's an older car that I'm very fond of, so I spoke with him for a while before agreeing to his service. I noticed that he is someone that takes great pride in his work and is very patient when explaining the various options available. After about 3 hours of work, I came back to find my car looking sharp. Now, I'm the kind of person who pays a LOT of attention to detail, but I could not find single flaw with his work. Riding in the car on hot days is nicer now as the AC barely has to work, and the tint is not too dark at night (which is something I was concerned about). The curtains in my living room end up closed half the time because the sun goes in there directly for many hours and it gets too hot. I don't like them because they always seem to gather dust and block the view too much. Hamid mentioned he also does houses so I am now considering trying that service out, given the great work he did with the car. I'll post an update if I do. read more

TERRIBLE tint job - bubbles everywhere, tint peeling from every window DAMAGED MY CAR - the leather lining on the door while cutting the tint OWNER Hamid - AGGRESSIVE, VIOLENT, DISRESPECTFUL (can even get physical like he did with me) Got my tint done by Hamid at AR Tint. Dropped off my car at 8am in Oakland, and could only pick it up after 3:30pm the same day - he even kept complaining via text about how hard it is to tint my car - which is just a sedan. Also, It appears he was working on multiple cars - and definitely did a terrible job with my tint, and managed to DAMAGE the leather on my expensive Audi A6. Exactly 7 days after the tint job, he told me a could get the exterior wash, which I did. After the car was washed from the outside, I noticed multiple bubbles on every window. I was hoping the bubbles would disappear - which he assured me off. He told me he guaranteed his job and would fix any tint problems I'd have - which ended up being a total lie. Fast forward 2 months, I schedule an appointment with him to fix the tint. Upon arrival, I check with him every window, and the bubbles are still there. Furthermore, the tint was peeling off every window. I get very disappointed, and tell him that I no longer want him to fix the tint because he did a terrible job the first time (not bubbles on just one window, but bubbles everywhere, and tint peeling off everywhere). Furthermore, he damaged the interior of my car by the window while cutting the tint (I pointed it out originally, and he vehemently denied). So I asked him for a full refund. He started getting aggressive with me and even dared to start physically touch me while verbally attacking me. I felt extremely threatened. I asked him one more time politely to refund me the money, and he refused unless he removed the tint (which I didn't want him to touch my car anymore). In the end, STAY AWAY from this aggressive, rude, lazy, and unprofessional dude. He will damage your car, do a shitty tint job, and will threaten and lie to you. He drove all the way out to Berkeley to tint my car and job was done less than 40 mins to tint my back to windows and charged only 35 dollars each for each window which is much cheaper than other tinters yep much better result and service.
