Final price was 2x from what he originally quoted me (he claimed to be a mistake price) I was extremely clear with my job because someone who's professional enough came out and measured so I knew the exact sqft. So I knew what a professional job would cost. When I called him out towards the end regarding his pricing, he started to accusing me at me for things that's completely unrelated to the job. He gave me three prices in total. Each higher than the previous one. He said he made a mistake on pricing on the first one which I thought it was good deal. Clearly he didn't read my message thoroughly. Then gave me second / higher price which I thought was still a good price (mistake price again!!!) So I called since he ignored my text many times on yelp. When I finally decided to go with him on the second price. He gave me final and highest price and said it's a discount because he made a mistake. It was absolutely regular price compared to other tint companies in the area for the cheaper film he's using. $7/sqft. I originally received an estimate from Dave and he arrived as scheduled and quoted accordingly. I spent a few weeks mulling it over and even though he took the time to come out and quote, he never once pressured me to proceed with the order. For reference, security film on 4 windows and a privacy screen on a floor 2 window was quoted at $4k. After a few weeks, I ended up requesting just get the one privacy screen installed ($600) and I was pleasantly surprised they were willing to accommodate such a small job. Originally, I thought that it would be a decorated frosted covering, but it's actually a fully opaque privacy film with no frills. I'm no longer able to see any movement outside of that window and it reduced sunlight entering our house by about 50%. This ended up being perfect for us since the entire reason I wanted to get this covered was because our dog would bark at this every single night when he saw movement or lights from outside. It's been 4 years of this and I wish I got this done sooner! The installer (I believe his name is Hugo) called letting me know he'd be late which I appreciated the notice. He was so friendly and did is awesome job. The sizing and alignment was perfect which I'm happy about. I did a similar window I was able to reach myself and it looked terrible. The other installer called out sick the day of installation so I called Kevin immediately. He came out the same day to show me samples of the out of stock film and another film that is in stock but it's more expensive. Kevin offered to do the job with the more expensive film at the same cost of the cheaper not in stock film. He came out the next day on a Saturday to install the film. The outcome is stunning. A perfectly done job with no flaws. Kevin is the best. I just can't think of another business that has offered me the same level of exceptional advice, service and professionalism.
