I called approximately 10 different window screen installation businesses and window businesses in general to see if I could have anybody install some official window screens for my windows. G and G Windows was the only company who responded to my inquiry. Not only did G and G Windows respond , but they responded in a timely manner. The next day they came to my apartment for measurements and two days after that they came with the screens which are perfect. Unfortunately, coop city no longer provides screens for the windows and I could not get anyone who could refer me to a company or anybody for that matter to help me get the screens. Each screen for each window cost $230.00 which I can understand how some people can see as expensive. However , I am extremely with the results, the quality and the service I received . KORAB was the individual who helped me . KORAB was very professional and timely with all his responses regarding all of my questions. To all my fellow cooperators in coop city , the Bronx , I would recommend you getting your screens from G and G Windows and asking for KORAB. My breakfast room window, which is next to the fire escape, has been broken since the day I moved into the apartment. The super tried to fix it over the 6 years that I've lived here; however, it remained broken and dangerous. Fortunately, Altin and Egli, who are employed by A&J, came today and fixed my window. We rescheduled, and then they didn't show up for the next one, nor the next one, an so on. This happened around 12 times over a period of two months! Eventually, the office administrator gave me the direct phone number for her boss, Reggie, because even she couldn't get hold of him anymore. Every time there was a different excuse: he was "driving back from Florida," dealing with "an emergency with an employee in Florida," had to leave "for Florida," and so on. There was always another excuse. One day, his crew finally showed up and installed some of the window screens. However, they had to wait six hours for him to arrive to bring the material. Then we discovered that several of the screens didn't fit because he had measured them incorrectly. None of the large sliding door screens were even ready. Eventually, I'd had enough and demanded a refund for the unfinished work and the screens we never received. He promised again that he would come and complete the installation, even confirming it by email, but he never showed up. He repeated this two more times. Finally, I told him I was done and wanted our money back. His response was to hang up on me! And now, it shows that their business is "permanently closed" and I'm left to figure out how I'll get a refund from them!
