My daily driven BMW had received 11 years of road rash, I wanted to refresh the BMW's front end to make it "new" again. I had very strict criteria for both the business and the technician-I wanted to support a small, local business, and I wanted an experienced craftsman handling the paintwork. I searched around the greater San Antonio area, and got a few quotes. After learning about Rene & Leanda and their crew at Artisan Paint & Body, I knew I had found the place to have my BMW repainted. Rene and his crew only use quality paint and materials (BASF), and perform excellent prep work before any paint is done. My front bumper was done on time as promised, and was priced below the other estimates I received. The finished bumper was perfect-the paint was a perfect match in every light (sunlight, streetlight, etc.), and there is no "orange peel" effect (it's super smooth). They went the extra mile on all aspects of the work they on my Camaro, and I really appreciated the weekly updates that they provided me every Thursday on the status of my Camaro. I have been to a few body shops in the past with my truck and I have to say this by far is the best in SA. The staff was very professional and friendly(which you can't always find everywhere). I really liked how they explained to me in detail how the process works and what they were going to do to my baby:) The pricing was very very reasonable and the best quote I could get in town(having already been to some places that were ridiculous in price). The time to complete the work was very efficient and excellent quality of work done on my truck. It looks better than before I had the damage done...lol. I was so pleased with the work I cant think of any other body shop in San Antonio I would take my truck to in the future. I was referred to Artisan Paint and Body by B & M Auto. After my first car that needed paint and bodywork turned out FABULOUS. I took my second car, 2004 Buick Lesabre that seriously needed a paint job on the hood, top, and trunk, it now looks brand new with over a 130,000 miles. I will drop my third car sometime in the near future for some minor repair, and paint/bodywork.
