Unfortunately, the roof was 3/4th of the way done before I noticed the color shingle wasn't what I had ordered. Although the manufacturer had sent the wrong item, Artisan immediately took full responsibility and asked me how they could make this right. They offered to redo my roof with the right color, however we settled on a discount from the work done. I feel their entire communication and work with me to resolve this was 100% excellent. As a matter of fact, I am so confident in their company I have scheduled them to also install new gutters (using the discount from the roof!) Their price and initial bid was LESS THAN an individual who had also been recommended by a neighbor whom I would have expected to be less than this professional company. If you live in the Triangle area (Cary / West Cary / Apex), this is truly the roofing company you can trust. I had filed two roof claims before, both denied by State Farm. My neighbors had their roofs approved, but mine wasn't--so I knew something wasn't right. When my roof started leaking in early August, I finally contacted Artisan, and that was the best decision I made. 1. Brian's inspection is incredibly professional Brian came to my house right away. He walked through the interior with me, then carefully inspected the entire roof outside. He took clear, detailed photos and organized them so I could understand exactly what was happening. Those photos were key evidence for my State Farm claim. I had contacted four roofing companies before--none of them came close to the level of detail Brian provided. 2. Brian joined the insurance meeting and helped me WIN approval When State Farm sent their adjuster, Brian came immediately--even though they arrived early. He waited patiently for the third-party inspector (who was late), and then walked them through every problem area. He clearly explained the hail damage, the leaks, and exactly why it needed approval. Honestly, State Farm is famous for being strict, but with Brian's help, I finally got approved for a full roof replacement. I was so relieved and grateful. 3. He also helped me get approval for interior repairs There were water stains inside my house caused by the roof leak. I didn't even know I could include this in the claim, but Brian talked to the adjuster directly and helped me get additional coverage for the interior repairs as well. This is the kind of detail and professionalism you rarely see. 4. The installation team was also excellent Once approved, the Artisan team finished the entire roof in one day. Fast, clean, and high quality. They also found a few issues (like an old dryer vent), took pictures, and sent me updates during the day so I always knew what was happening. Every step felt responsible and transparent. 5. Great communication, great local company From emails about payment, to warranty details, to color selection--they were always clear, quick, and helpful. It feels good to work with a local, trustworthy, professional company. I truly recommend them 100% I am a West Cary homeowner, and after comparing at least four different roofing companies, I can confidently say: Brian Anderson and Artisan Quality Roofing are the BEST. We needed our roof replaced, and Artisan did an excellent job from start to finish. My wife did most of the legwork- doing the research and calling a lot of different roofing companies in the area. She found that Artisan had fair prices, was honest and upfront about how they did things, and didn't use contract workers for roof replacements but instead all of their workers work directly for the company. A lot of roofing companies ask for the insurance quote before providing their own quote. Artisan gave us a quote without asking for what the insurance promised to pay out, which made it seem like they weren't just trying to take whatever the insurance company was willing to pay instead of providing their own price. The actual installation went well. They replaced the roof as promised, and even though it ended up taking 2 days, they did a quality job. They also did a good job cleaning up, as we weren't able to find any nails after they left. I spoke with Jose (Artisan Supervisor) and he advised me that it wasn't covered under the warranty contract. The company sent me an estimate to repair the problem. I spoke with Abel directly. I told him I was a contractor and would like to achieve two things. One, absorb deductible, and secondly, upgrade shingle to architectural shingle. His response was he thought he could do that if my deductible was 1000 and not 2500. I told him it was 1000. We scheduled and executed job. His crew was outstanding overall. There were some scuffs and scrapes on siding, gutters, and trim. Most of them came off completely. There were two cracked pieces. And there were 9 nails in my driveway. Abel sent his brother to come collect the checked I had taped to door. When he arrived I showed him the spots. I think he assumed I wasnt giving a check? He started walking away, shaking his hands in the air. I said dont you want this check? He said I needed to speak with Abel. I went inside to text Abel and he called me while I was texting. He said I had waisted his time and he was coming himself. Upon his arrival, I showed him damages, he said no way could shingles break siding? I also informed him the way he produced the invoice, that I was paying the 1000 dollar deductible. He said that would be fraud, he doesn't absorb deductibles? We had a conversation about it and he said it was too late. My insurance company said depreciation was withheld and could be recovered after completion. That they would need a certificate of completion. Abel's response was, he would type a letter to certify completion. After a week with no letter, I called in to office. Abel sent a receipt through QBs. I responded to email inquiring about the letter he spoke of. He responded about he wasnt going to commit fraud for my gain? I was appalled. I am a man of integrity. I NEVER even implied I wanted him to lie or be dishonest. I am offended and disgusted with his implications. All this said, I believe the roof is a high quality install. I recommend getting everything in writing. It seems he told me what I wanted to hear to get the job. read more

A couple of guys were going through the community for a walk-in inspection for possible damage after last fall's hail storm. One of them assessed that there were some damages and repair was needed while the other guy assessed that there was extensive damage and the entire roof needed to be replaced. He insisted on talking to insurance right away which we did not want to rush into since there was a difference between the two assessments and we had a doubt about the extent of the damage. That is when we started checking for a reliable roof inspector before making a final decision. They were kind enough to set up a zoom call to help go over all my questions and left me feeling very comfortable about choosing them. From the original consultation with Abel. He is great to speak with, passionate about his work, and explains everything in detail.
