The heel was torn off the right, I might have cried. They may need a new insole. They definitely look like they have taken a harsh beating... scratches, scrapes, salt stains... Don't get me started on my suede lace-up knee-high boots- the sole has completely become disconnected from the heel of the boot itself and they need to be re-glued and re-stitched by a pro for waaaay less than the cost of new boots. Not that I want new boots- these are my favorites too and no, can't live without them. A polish, new heel, re-glued sole for a mere $38 in cash (just cash, no cards) will save them from the polar vortex shoe massacre. Conveniently, this is a hop, skip and a jump from my workplace. Also conveniently, they can do same-freaking-day-repair... which I kinda need as I have been putting this off for longer (letting my shoes live under my desk) than is healthy for my feet. Luckily this wonder is nearby to keep my heels on high.
